I think I'll stay of the pred. And then I'll contact Louise and ask what to do. But id rather not get into SO etc. I'm hoping that if I got preg before it will happen again. My dad keeps telling me it can take a year or more even if all ok. But I don't believe him!

Hope did u have any signs pre hpt? Implantation bleed etc. I don't have any. But me and dh have it a good go doing day 10,12,14,15. Not sure when I ovulated but usually it's day 15. Fingers crossed!!

Hi Trying, I really didn't have any signs pre HPT. I only took the test because I was meant to be going out that night. In fact, I had told my acupuncturist I was out for that month the previous day. I was pretty surprised!

Day 3 of cycle so def not the preds fault either.
I have decided if we dtd everyday from day 8 surely we are in for chance of bfp? Just got to woo dp now

Sounds like a good plan! I vaguely followed SMEP this month. DH not keen on me going back to sticks and me being a bit crazy. So I hope this way works for us!

So glad everything is all ok hope, was thinking of you yesterday! Just shows that maybe symptom spotting or not having symptoms is any indication of what is or isn't happening!!

I had my works Xmas parties this weekend, one on Friday eve and one last night so having a pj day today as had 2 late nights and not used to it as normally in bed by 10!!!

Yep you're right trying - testing tomorrow - it's day 10 of pred today so tomorrow is d day - not got any thoughts either way this time!!

It's such happy news hope ;) and here's hoping for a couple more early crimbo presents on here too! The last 2 times I found it I was pregnant I had no idea. My acu lady (2nd time) even said is there any chance you could be preg and I said no as dates were so wrong but I was!! Not a clue ;)

Hey girls. I feel af on her way. I'm due wed/thurs. don't think I'll even bother early testing. I'm obv a bit pooped. I really thought and hoped it would happen this month. But no luck again. It's really hard to not let
It stress me out/get me down. I'm worrying I've not got to battle with infertility as well as miscarriage (I know I sound silly it's only been 5

I'm not sure when I should start thinking of SO I reckon dr S would be happy for me to try it soonish but I really would rather not...my dad says wait at least a yr of trying and likely it will happen by then (but
I'm not sure he's being objective!)

Current plan is to keep trying get DH sperm tested at month 8 then I have no plan!

Trying - sometimes that feeling is just a feeling fx for you it doesn't arrive and you'll have us good news for Christmas! Not over til the fat lady sings and all? Or in our case af! X

Hey trying...as Dildoos says...it ain't over till it's over and you still have a chance until af starts! Also early preg and period synptoms can be so similar you never know where you stand! Am praying you get the result you want though.

Re: SO I went on it fairly quickly but for me because I have PCOS and had a luteal phase averaging 8 days (ovulate really late, like day 24 sometimes on a 30/32 cycle) so I was never going to implant in that short time. When I was on it i ovulated on day 14! I had to have some more blood tests before to check hormone levels etc before I started. When is your next appointment with Dr S?

Err not sure.. I think I saw him after the 2/3 months and then after that on SO so every month.

Hi Trying, I was thinking I'd try SO if I wasn't pregnant after six months but mainly because of my age. I would probably give it a year at your age, especially as you know you can get pregnant. Are your AMH and FSH levels ok? Mine were on the verge of dodgy...if you haven't had them tested I'd probably do that before starting SO too. If they are fine, it is probably just a waiting game.
I know how horrible it is but it will probably happen next month and it really hasn't been long objectively. It takes me an average of four months to get pregnant, sometimes two months, sometimes six.
I haven't tried SO so I don't really know but for me a big factor was the extra expense. Obviously worth it when it works out but we've had to put so many things on hold for this and our credit cards are looking terrible! In some situations I'd say go for it right away - I suggested it to my good friend the other day - but it seems really likely you will get your BFP soon, if your AMH is good. If your AMH isn't good for some reason I might look into it.
Anyway, I bet your AF cramps are implantation cramps and you'll get your BFP in the next couple of days!

Sorry sunny. But 10dpo is early. Many women don't get their hpt till 12 or later. When is af due? Hope ur ok.....
Thanks hope. My fsh was 7 which I'm told is fine. I might do another one next month. Also I've had progesterone done and I'm ovulating..so maybe it's just a matter of more time. I worry re DH sperm though as its not been tested...I think I'll give it to 8/9 months and then think about SO. I kinda didn't want to mess around with more drugs etc ESP as I am still young and have gotten preg 3 times before!! Maybe I'm worrying for no reason.

Trying-whilst SO worked for me (kind of as was preg for the shortest time in history!) I personally did find it quite intense. Drugs at the beginning, then scan, then trigger, then timed intercourse, then pred, prog etc and then of course when you test you never know whether it is leftover trigger or a real bfp...which of course happened to me (both DH and I didn't believe it) and it was a BFP. Like hope said if you can i would try and leave it a little longer if your tests/hormones have come back ok but of course it's just down to how you and DH are feeling about it...the thing SO gave me was the feeling I was doing something (but then my hormone/ovulation levels were diff to you due to pcos). Quick Q-my NHS appointment is now Friday! Been moved forward which I am v. Surprised about ;) I know diff hospitals have diff guidelines but will I have any scans/tests on the day? Or will I be referred for them? What was your experience? Thanks!!

hi - i was a bit upset but more fed up than anything just feels like it is never going to happen. There wasn't even a hint of a line so i think its unlikely its going to change. AF due thurs/fri.

With regards to SO, I did it because i was worried i wasn't ovulating, my FSH levels were normal, not sure what my AMH levels are but I actually quite like the routine to it - i like knowing how many eggs i have and what size they are and when i'm ovulating etc. The only hard bit about it is like this month for example - I had two very good size eggs and we DTD more than they advise yet I still didn't hit the jackpot and then I wonder why its not happening!

I'm sorry sunny. I know how u feel. It's so tiring...Im not even bothering to test tmrw. How many goes at SO do u get? i know someone who failed with SO and then got preg naturally the month after! u have got preg before and are young so it will happen (wish I could convince myself of the same!)

you get 6 months then you have a break - they say that 85% of couples who try it get pregnant in the first 6 months, if you go through a second round it drops right down to 15%.

I'm like you, i have been trying for 2 years in january - in 2013 i got pregnant twice yet this year nothing - i just don't understand! I think if i don't get pregnant after 6 SO rounds then I'm def going to investigate DH sperm plus i might come off the pred etc and just take it once i get a bfp - will probbaly have an appt with Dr S at some point to discuss what happens next!

It is so tiring, other people seem to have it so easy (or so it seems) and I feel like its so unfair and why me, and that another year has passed with no baby but I guess we have to just keep picking ourselves up!
