Continuing from 13th thread

it's strange that so many of us are seeming to have difficulty getting pregnant - one thing i did wonder is does the time kind of reset after m/c - so i think they say on average it takes 18 months to get pregnant - so after a miscarriage - does the clock reset to 18 months again before you should worry? have no idea on this!!

its all just so fustrating! one good thing is that work is very busy with lots on so at least that os keeping my mind occupied - i find when i'm not up to much that is when my mind starts to wonder!

I vote c! What's a load of cash compared to what ifs?

To be fair would go without many things to scratch together cash
Erm things I mean wine, haircuts, walk instead of drive 50 miles you know the normal!

Hi Ladies, i ve had a busy few days so not been able to get online.

Dildoos - sorry af come but good that you feel ok about and great you ve found a good acupuncturist. Hope u have a good appt with dr s.

Rosa - i d say get cracking with acu if you re going to do it. I ve done alot of acu and usually they say they need 3mns for it to change stuff (and i have personally found that the case too). So if you get started and also want to do SO you ll hopefully be encouraging the best enviro too.

Sunny - everything crossed for testing day.

Trying - i really would try not to worry too much about nothing having happened for 6 mns. (That s the case for me since last mc and when i mentioned about ivf to dr s he dismissed it and said he def didnt think that would be necessary !) All that said its def good to have a plan and starting with dh sperm makes good sense. The month we went to see an ivf doc to look at starting that was the month i concieved my son so fingers crossed u don t need any of it.

AFM - i had a mini panic when i got some stretchy CM on day 6 (sorry tmi !) as since my mc in april my ov day has moved from day 14-15 or sometimes later to last cycle day 11 so i was thinking it would be even earlier and since i m 39 and my amh is low and my last fsh was 9.0 i started to panic that this is a sign my ovaries are shutting up shop ..., however no positive opk yet and no further stretchy stuff so hoping it was a one off and i ve got a few more days for the egg to mature b4 it pops (i usually get 3-4 days clear stretchy cm b4 pos opk).

Moment! I think I had a lovely Xmas and new year and stopped worrying about it all, and then suddenly I'm back to real world and first week back at work. And panic sets in! Plus sil preg updates not helpful!

Ecwm always confused me! I usually get it day 11ish and ends day 15, but it's hard to be sure when DTD begins! I think it's hard to be sure when and where it is so dont worry, go with ur opk too. It takes time for cycles to recover post miscarriage maybe urs r just adjusting-when was urs? Sorry I can't rem...hope ur doing ok on the pred

Lots been going on...Sorry to hear you got AF dildoos and Rosa and sorry you are poorly trying :( but as Dildoos says it could be a good thing (immunes down). I haven't had a cold for maybe 2 years...I used to get them weekly before!

Dildoos - great about acu. I am keen to know what their thoughts were about NK cells and treatment as I haven't really gone into that much detail with mine! Did they shed any other info? and how acu can help with it?

Rosa - I am very much an option C girl myself (all or nothing). I'd chuck the kitchen sink a it if I could. The accu helps with relaxing as well as things like headaches which I get on SO! My accu lady is preg (41) and due on maternity leave so not sure what I will do after next week!

Also temping remember if you take cyclogest it could raise your temps a bit...I always wait to see a definite rise before I take pred or cyclogest (as the 1st couple of months I massively got it wrong and ended up having the latest ovulation ever!). Am so rubbish at taking it though...always take it at different times so never accurate.

So anxiety has kicked in big time. Had no more spotting (yet) but have been pretty crampy and achy (mild) in my lower back though and still had loads of pains/twinges on the left side. Its horrible. I really wish I knew what was going on.

Did another FRER this morning and the line is deffo there, but not massively darkened (DH and were staring at it for ages like mentallists) and its not as dark as the control either. I shouldn't have consulted DR Google really! (people posting pics or super dark tests at 16/18/20dpo etc)

Ps are u taking cyclogest after a bfp? Or before? I really hope it's hanging in there...

Yeah I haven't had a cold in absolutely ages. It's my first in about a year.

Trying - also to add. I am exactly the same looking into options. It makes me feel better by having control when I have absolutely none...I made enquiries to serum and ZW this week for further tests to be done and that we be my back up! I also started looking into IVF etc just before my 3rd miscarriage because was struggling to get a sniff of a BFP. I think it is always good to have a plan or know what is out there (whether it be tests or comp therapies, supplements, diets, to IVFs).

Hey Hula - don't suppose you have been taking any supplements that may be encouraging it - heard things like evening primrose oil and stuff like that can often increase it???? Do you have anything like Pcos as that can often happen multi times through a cycle?

No no scan yet...I was tempted last night when I had the one sided pain but that has calmed down since this morning. I am going to sound like a big baby now but I am almost too scared to go (pathetic I know).

I am a complex one re: cyclogest...started without when started this all, but luteal phase too short so starting supplementing with it (didn't do much) then did it from ov as was on SO, but this month I wasn't on anything (just aspirin) so started from BFP.

I do panic I left it a bit late but figured I have been on this treatment for around 5 months so hopefully my immune numbers are better than they were!!?!?

One of those clear blue digitalis? So it's Goes 1-2 and then 2-3 weeks. (My preg which was going well till week 9 was a few days late into the 2-3 week one but did get there) .

I know quenby in Coventry uses cyclogest pre bfp....

Do u mind me Asking how long it took u to Get preg each time? (Current obsession)

Determind yes I too have some many questions for her regarding her thoughts, but she did say she knew quite abit and researched herself, she also said she has treated people with bleeding in pregnancy and the cases she has done have continued to term

Yes the CB digis...I used to use them when I started out and got massive paranoia never going up to 3+ i guess then i knew.

Not at all 1st about 3/4 months then 2 months (then saw Dr s for testing etc). Then i think 5 months then now.

No deffo not I had a complete break down, tears galore just before i found out i was preg in Nov - i was convinced the meds were working against me. I even started to look at how surrogacy worked!

I find it reassuring that we all have similar thoughts feelings and experiences. I've started wondering that my search for ivf might tempt fate and mean I end up having it?! But that can't be true of us all!

Thanks Trying and Sunny. I know none of us know what help bring about that elusive BFP... But it's impossible to stop trying ! I'm leaning toward another month of just the vits and trying accu ... I haven't found anywhere that will scan me yet either.. Nhs said no, Clinc where they do preg scans said no as they don't do follicle scans? So maybe it's a sign I should wait one more month...

Hi Rosa not sure where you live but have you got an ultrasound direct/baby bond near you? They did my so follicle tracking scan one month and are all over the UK, maybe one close to you?
