I'm not having any preg symptoms :( Had a dream last night I got a bfp and it was so realistic. I dreamt I went to have my intralipid infusion etc! I wish I had dreams which come true but I don't usually!

I'm thinking of waiting till month 7 over and then having a HSG (blacked tubes) and a 3d uss scan (for ashermans) and my DH sperm checked (he's had an undescended testicle not operated till 18) . It's prob a bit ott but I have gotten preg fairly quickly before on 3 occasions. Plus I have had 2 ErCPs and both were for failed Medical Management 2 Weeks after.

Bleugh! Still secretly hoping all will be well and I won't need above! But also don't want to keep waiting and then be told no way I could get preg with xyz.

Determined any bleeding? U musnt give up hope it might be ok?! Can u organise a scan soon? They usually do at 5/6 weeks?

Trying af due today but no sight of her but also got another BFN tonight. Last mc was July but in total been trying 43 months 7 mc in total. However , this coming cycle is going to be the first that I will have tried acupuncture ( so going to start my counting again as the saying 43 months sounds and feels like FOREVER!

Af arrived here, feel fine about it ! I usually reset monitor in am but think will do tonight as have heard best to test for ovulation in evenings?

I usually test for ovulation at 12-4pm. Not used a monitor. Glad af didn't take forever to come-I rem one month I was 3 days late which never happens and took 10000 tests. So mean!

Oh yes didn't think that about my cold. Here's hoping. 8dpo and no symtpms or cramping or bleeding. I'm feeling mainly out but hoping I'm wrong this month!

Dildoos.. My total time is almost same as yours.. I've also just got my AF today .. 100% knew it was coming days ago so disappointment not fresh!

I'm struggling to decide what to do next. I want to start accu again but also have prescriptions to start the SO thing and to be honest worried about it all adding up and that making me more low if not successful and months roll on. I should just through everything at it though right?
A- I try accu only for a month or so
B- I do SO only for 4/5 months
C- scrimp & save to do both

Please vote! I have until tomorrow morning to decide before take letroze and seem incapable of making decisions. Just got FSH etc blood done today too so will have results next week. My DH had his sperm count results yesterday and were slightly low side of normal- think 1800? So it's sport, no hot baths and red veg for him!

Trying - sorry you've been feeling it more lately.. Try take as much time as you can to look after yourself. It's the one thing we can control a bit.. And it can make the difference between a sigh and big cry!

Hi rosa! I think go for SO and acu. I'm in a bit of a agressive mood at the moment though and want things to happen fast! But I think it's sensible given ur over 35 (not that ur at all old and hundreds on women on the miscarriage thread in late 30 and early 40s sorry if that sounds rude) but they do try to be more agressive in the over 35? Did u see mr shehata what did he advice? Was this Month 6 of trying? Are u going to retest the sperm?-get him on some multivitamins with high vit c and zinc and seliumum. Sorry lots

Have u had a HSG? Good to check tubes all clear? if not clear then SO won't work anyway.

I've spent some time today looking up ivf clinics . I prob sound mad but I'm so worried I'm never going to naturally get preg again. I rang mr
Lower secretary and have decided to see him after month 7 if no luck-sperm at month 7 too. Then after
Month 9 a HSG to check tubes. Feel better with a plan. Then give it a year and then go for SO (although I'm not sure about that if I'm ovulating?).

I assume I am ovulating as sticks, monitors and temp check indicates - not to mention 3 pregnancies in a year, though last was last May. I believe SO just creates more eggs so more chances. But I heard can take 5 months to work usually. So not sure I shouldn't have conceived by then anyway therefor what's the point as that's £1500. Hmmm

Sounds like you're super informed and really good you have a plan - definitely helps to stay positive and calm. I also had the view you had about Mr S being my only hope.. I guess I still feel that given my age.

A HSG is a test where the inject dye into u and X-ray ur pelvis. It can look for polyps etc but also that your tubes are clear and that the egg your releasing is getting to the sperm. Obviously a blockage means they can't meet etc.

If u get a lh surge doesn't mean u ovulate. But if ur getting ur temp changes then that shows u r. You could ask ur gp for a day 21 progesterone-if over 30 u ovulated.

What has mr s advised?

Mr S wasn't particularly concerned if not conceived yet and think only gave me SO stuff as I was anxious.

Months isn't anything for u to get worried about. If ur not sure about so wait? I think it's a bit of a commitment so u need to be ready too? Maybe sunny can help u on that one!

I actually don't chart temps coz I know I would get Obsessed!!! But I've seen on forums people say u get a drop the day after ovulation to confirm u have. (or is it a rise?) but ifs def something the day after you ovulaye. But please don't quote me on that-but will be easy to find online.

Ive asked my Gp for a day 21 blood before. he was quite happy to give it to me. To be honest if ur having reg cycles u prob are ovulating but I liked to see the number to make self myself feel better.

A rise in body temperature. Following ovulation, your temperature can increase by 0.4 to 1.0 degrees. You won't feel the shift, but you can detect it by using a basal body temperature (BBT) thermometer. This temperature spike indicates that you've ovulated, because releasing an egg stimulates the production of the hormone progesterone, which raises body temperature.

You're most fertile in the two or three days before your temperature hits its high point. A few experts think you may have an additional 12- to 24-hour window of fertility after you first notice the temperature creep up, but most say that at that point, it's too late to make a baby.

I think quite a few of us are in the same boat about having got pregnant quite quickly for the first few and then not since - i got pregnant in jan 2013 and oct 2013 but nothing since :( it doesn't make sense to me at all. and i can't understand WHY! But I try not to think about it too much - I want to see how my SO rounds pan out first then see what the next steps should be.

Rosa - I'm not sure I can pick an option for you as I have never tired accu so can't advise if that will help or not - but i thought i had read somewhere that if you are going to do it you may not see results instantly therefore its something you would have to persevere with doing. As for SO - its hard for me to say one way or another - i'm glad I have done it as I have known for the past five months how many eggs I have had and when I have ovulated - however i am still waiting for that elusive BFP so can't say one way or another if i think its successful.

I used to track my temp in the early days - i think you get s spike when you have ovulated (if you do google search it will give you an example chart) however i found taking my temp so difficult as you have to do it when you first wake and then at the same time every morning etc, my chart was all over the place and i didn't know if that was because i wasn't ovulating or because i wasn't taking my temp properly - it made me very stressed and when i told my gp he told me to chuck it away (the RMC consultant at the local hosp also said the same thing!)

I like rosa had 3 preg in a year (and had 3 Months off after no 2) so actually 3 in 9 months Of ttc. Now in month 6 nothing! Ugh.
