The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

That's lovely news broody, I'm thrilled for you! x

NewEraNewMindset · 09/11/2014 21:25

Did you do anything different this month broody?

I'm always so unsure whether to shag like bunnies or hold off and just go for one or two well timed bunk ups. Probably doesn't matter what we do as age is fucking things up for us, but I find myself pondering exactly the same thing this month as all the rest.

Thepurplegiraffe · 09/11/2014 21:35

We stuck to well timed this month Newera, don't have the energy anymore. Smile

Treaclepie19 · 09/11/2014 22:14

There will be no bfp for me this month.
Not sure if im even going to ovulate this month but dtd has stopped due to me being unwell.

Ho hum. Hurry up Xmas hols so I can sleep all day.

Awwwww Treacle. Enormous hugs Flowers. And if it's any consolation as we're not ttc next cycle I'm almost 99% certain I'll be joining you on the January bus (assuming you need it). Currently consoling myself by thinking of all the mulled wine and cocktails I can drink guilt-free between now and then.

Treaclepie19 · 09/11/2014 22:31

It's nice to know I won't be alone :)
Definitely a good tactic, think of all the things we will be able to do not being pregnant :)

Congratulations broody :) so happy for you :)

cake I'll be thinking if you tomorrow, sending lots of love and hugs

chasing really hope things start sorting themselves out now and you can get back to TTC as soon as is possible

I'm now CD 9.. Tried a softcup today and really didn't get on with it at all! Read so many posts saying "couldn't even feel it was there".... Well I could definitely tell! Maybe I'll just stick to waving my legs in the air...

broodylicious · 10/11/2014 07:40

cake, you're in my thoughts and prayers today.

treacle, hugs sweet. You're having a rough time at the min. Really hope the new year will bring you cheer and an extra bfp. Until then, join cariad and get stuck into the mulled wine and Camembert!

newera, we also went on the less is more theory - just three well timed bonks. I'm just taking folic acid, nothing fancy or expensive. On the tmi front, we stuck to missionary, took it mega slow and I orgasmed at the same time or just seconds after dh (which generally does happen with us anyway!)

Cariad2014 · 10/11/2014 07:44

I will be thinking of you today Cake. Enormous hugs.

Boozle80 · 10/11/2014 07:57

AmyyLawsonn · 10/11/2014 10:13

Cake Thinking of you today hun.

Broody Massive congratulations! Great to hear success after MC stories gives us all hope. Fx all goes well for you! :)

Hope everyone is well today. I, unfortunately, am back at work today after 2 weeks off from MC. Good to be keeping myself busy but god I wish it wasn't here!

Brummiegirl15 · 10/11/2014 11:50

Hi Amyy I had 2 weeks off after mine too and I actually found going back to work helped me.

Stopped me wallowing in grief at home and helped me concentrate on something else. Still had moments (and still do) but they became less and less .

So I'm 2 dpo - and like everyone else I did some well timed shags. I had my static smiley face Saturday evening (was naughty and tested twice) so we DTD Friday night, Saturday morning and Sunday morning so hoping that will be ok. Also properly used preseed as well.

Really hope this month is the one!!!

MademoiselleG · 10/11/2014 14:07

Congrats again Broody !

Brummie that does sound like perfect timing :) I too hope this is your month.

I caved in and tested today at 10dpo - BFN. I am really hoping it's just too early, but with baby G I had a (very faint) positive at 10dpo, so I am not feeling hopeful at all. I thought I had so many symptoms... Sigh...
