This bus is for anyone ttc hoping to get a BFP in December.

I know it's super early, but as I'm currently on a 2 month enforced break from ttc following a ruptured ectopic, December is the next bus I can catch.

Do feel free to come and join me on the journey.

Hi allGrin

Oops I started a December bus, didn't realise this one was already on the go so I'll hop on here instead.

Kicked off nov bus by super early af arriving on cd17Hmm I've been taking soy and it's obviously not right for me so I won't be taking it again.

Stats are spinningirl10 ttc #3 cycle 18, bfp due Dec 4th (if cycle returns to normal!)

Beansprout30 · 09/11/2014 17:49

Hi all

Have just been kicked off Nov bus as the old bag had me today, 2 days early. Was convinced I was preggers up till yesterday. Was so pissed off earlier but at least I can enjoy a night out next weekend, plus another months worthof savings to put towards future baby account.

stats are Beansprout30 ttc#1 cycle 5 (5 months off in summer) bfp due 9th.

if only there wasnt so much waiting around each other ttc would be so much easier!!! Gonna have a glass of vino tonight

Dozygirl · 09/11/2014 18:29

Spinning I can't believe you've had your AF arrive already. That really sucks so bad. Hope it doesn't take long for them to go back to normal. Thanks

spinningirl10 · 09/11/2014 19:59

Thanks Dozy, it's shit, but onto next cycle and let's hope it's a lucky one for all of usGrin

Bean, sorry af got you, have a glass of mulled wine WineThanks

mistywillow17 · 09/11/2014 21:11

Grrr. My lovely MIL knows we are TTC (I wish she didn't though, as it is extra pressure).

She is ALWAYS asking whether we have had any luck. Recently I did Sober for October, and had to specifically tell her I wasn't pregnant, as I knew she would make assumptions and get overexcited, then disappointed, otherwise.

I drank three small glasses of wine in front of her tonight to try to prove the point. But she still rubbed my tummy and asked if I was sure there wasn't a baby in there "under that bump"

I know she means well and is just excited - one of the things I am looking forward to most is telling her if when we finally do get our BFP - but it was so depressing to have to say no. And now I feel fat too!

Dozygirl · 09/11/2014 21:46

I know how u feel! My mum is just as desperate for me to have a baby as I am so she's always asking if there's any news. It took her ages to get pregnant though so she knows what its like to struggle. She was always told she'd never never have kids and then she had three.

MissMonkey · 09/11/2014 21:56

Arrr misty that sounds awful... Stay positive (I know easier said than done) hopefully you not be saying no for long. I can totally understand the extra pressure - unbeknown to me my lovely OH told the MIL then one night at a family meal other family members said "why didn't you tell us you were trying" (I couldn't believe they had all found out, I know she meant well but it stung a little) my response was "We're not" just to stop feeling the added pressure - we most definitely already put enough pressure on ourselves.

And thank you dozy, I'll keep you all posted x

MrsExtraOrdinary · 10/11/2014 11:33

Hi ladies wishing you all a very fruitful festive season with plenty of bfps for Christmas Grin

Shootthemoon · 10/11/2014 11:42

hello everyone, hopping on the bus a bit early to wish you all lots of luck.

We're TTC#2, starting in December, and it will depend on cycle length whether it could be a Dec BFP, but in any case we've put off #2 for a while and I'm excited, so I thought I'd hop on :)

DC#1 took a few months to happen, but my DH travels a lot which made timing difficult. I got the BFP the first month that we were both in the same country for the duration of the all important week! Both several years older now so who knows how long it may take this time.

I've been tracking cycles on an app for a year or so and they vary quite a bit, but presumed ovulation is quite clear based on CM so I feel like I know quite a bit more about the process this time around.

Hated being pregnant last time and ultimately ended up developing a blood-pressure condition for a while, so I'm not going into this without some degree of trepidation Confused.

But wishing you all a lot of luck :)

AmyyLawsonn · 10/11/2014 11:46

Dozy I hope that's the case! lol, although not very hopeful OH could keep up with me so I may have to do more research into OPKs!

Misty my MIL is exactly the same! Hope you get your BFP soon :)

knittedmittens · 10/11/2014 14:32

Afternoon all. Hopping on after being kicked off the Nov bus by AF on Saturday. Angry

Stats: Knittedmittens, 30, TTC#3 (after twins), cycle 4, BFP due 3rd December.

Misty Totally understand the pressure of family knowing about TTC. I had a mc in August whilst staying at parents - I was a bit poorly so everyone found out. Now I feel like I'm being watched like a hawk!!

AmyyLawsonn · 10/11/2014 14:40

Knitted Same here, only we MC'd not long ago. Every single family member who has seen us since has asked if we are going to try again to which I can't lie so we've said yes. I feel like I'm being wrapped up in cotton wool already! and a little more under pressure. My MIL is especially desperate for us to have children!

knittedmittens · 10/11/2014 14:45

Hugs Amy, it is a rubbish time. I'm obviously very glad of their support, it's just odd that everyone is waiting for an announcement!

AmyyLawsonn · 10/11/2014 15:50

Thanks Knitted, yeah I can imagine. Well I hope you get your BFP soon! :)

TrixieRay · 10/11/2014 17:19

Hello!
Been kicked off the November bus. Have decided to name change, was Aprilray. My Dad used to call me Trixie when I was a little girl (and I love it) hope it brings me luck.
Dozy – I read that book (amongst others, practically have my own ttc library going on here) I enjoyed it and found it helpful.
Feel like the last 11 months have been completely taken up with ttc so going to take a back seat this month and focus on starting my Xmas shopping!

Stats;
TrixieRay, 33, ttc #1, cycle 12, BFP due 9-12 December

DizzyNorthernBird · 10/11/2014 18:28

Trixie which books would you recommend? I'd quite like to read up on the ttc subject, preferably though on my iPad in secret so DP doesnt freak out lol Blush

So I've found out that yet another friend is now expecting.... That's now 5 babies due to make an appearance in the next 6 months among my friends & colleagues! Seriously, I'm beginning to wonder if im the only non parent left!! I guess that's just life when you're in your mid thirties eh (and to be fair I definitely wasn't ready until recently to become a mum).

beccaroo · 10/11/2014 18:53

Hello all, can I join? Had a tricky time so far- got my BFP in August on cycle 1 of ttc, then had early MC plus ovarian dermoid cyst found...had surgery to remove it (couldn't do it by keyhole so 6 weeks off work with essentially c sec scar). Finally feeling more normal at week 5.5 and had AF so back to ttc! Hoping for another quick BFP but to hold onto it this time!!

Totally agree about friends and colleagues announcing pregnancies...so hard not to be jealous and seeing them every day getting bigger etc is TOUGH.

My stats: 28yo, ttc no 1, cycle 3 (not counting cycle out of action!), BFP due 4 December

Shootthemoon · 10/11/2014 19:12

Hi Beccaroo, what a tough start! Fx that the worst is over Smile

janeh1984 · 10/11/2014 19:13

Hi all,

Could I join you? My stats are: Jane1984; TTC #1; cycle 3; BFP due 6th December.

Fingers crossed!

nannynome · 10/11/2014 20:20

Hello can I join in too? DH and I have decided to see if we can get a BFP for #2 around Dec/Jan as it would fit between projects at my work, not the best reasoning but otherwise I would have to make some hard work decisions later on. DS is 10.5 months and we really want them to be close in age, plus at 35 I am not my once sprightly self for chasing toddlers as the years go by! My cycle is all over the place so we are going for the scattershot, lots of DTD method Grin

Nannynome, Just starting TTC #2, cycle 1, BFP sometime at the beginning of dec.

Treaclepie19 · 10/11/2014 22:15

Hi all, I think I'll be on this bus due to illness and crazy temps this month.

Stats are:
Treaclepie19, 24, ttc #1, cycle 11 ( mc cycle 4 ), BFP due 13th December

Shootthemoon · 10/11/2014 22:16

nannynome work has been a big factor for us too though I have finally been promised my promotion to the level I'm working at. Though we will have a much longer gap - over 3.5 years even at the fastest BFP rate! DC1 not in any way a sleeper though so it has taken a long time to work upthe nerve to go back to newborn days.

butterflycats · 11/11/2014 05:35

Hey guys, can it join you please?!

30, ttc1, cycle 4, BFP due 19th December

Xxx

nannynome · 11/11/2014 08:34

I started a new job out of maternity in September and the project I am on will be fading out by august 2015 but then I would be starting one in jan 2016 that would run the whole year at least so this logically makes sense. DS1 appeared after one cycle but I had just come off the pill and was under the presumption it would take some time Hmm however I know that was probably a fluke so am not holding hopes too high currently.

Slightly freaked by having 2 under 2 but my previous career was as a qualified nanny so am hoping it may help. DS sometimes sleeps through and sometimes doesn't. My life was not helped this morning whilst debating money concerns over nursery costs by DH piping up with twins running in his family yet again!! Men! pfft.

Good luck everyone Smile

nannynome · 11/11/2014 08:36

Hurrah Shootthemoon for the promotion :) meant to say that! At least with #1 at 3.5 you will be able to explain what is happening. There is an awesome book out there called something like There is a house in my mummy, I will try to remember its name for you.
