This bus is for anyone ttc hoping to get a BFP in December.

I know it's super early, but as I'm currently on a 2 month enforced break from ttc following a ruptured ectopic, December is the next bus I can catch.

Do feel free to come and join me on the journey.

Hello everyone.
I'm new to the site - thought I would join for the moral support in trying to get a BFP!! I am the mum of George 14 months and decided to start trying for number two a couple of months ago. Didn't get a BFP this month so hoping December will be our lucky month!!
Good luck to everyone

spam I've got a countdown calendar too but I've got ages to go yet....next AF isn't due until 26th nov so I've got nearly a month until I'm properly ttc. All being well anyway as DP threw into conversation the other day about ttc in the new year......Hmm WHAT!! I wanna ttc and I wanna ttc NOW!

It's gonna be a looong month lol. Roll on December!! Grin

mistywillow17 · 05/11/2014 20:46

Hi all, stepping on board and finding a secluded seat at the back to sulk in solitude with my glass of red wine and two bars of chocolate. AF arrived today and I am so pissed off to see the evil cow.

I promise that in a few days time I will be more full of festive booze cheer

Stats: Mistywillow17, 33, ttc#1, cycle 8, BFP due around 2nd December.

Plan for this month. Spoonfuls of Manuka honey, possibly soy isoflavones CD3-7, softcups, balance activ, and getting my arse in gear to chart temps properly for once.

Here's hoping for lots of happy Christmases with BFPs for all on board this bus.

MaGratgarlik1983 · 05/11/2014 22:43

Misty I've brought a bottle of red on with me if you care to share? AF got me as well today so am feeling well and truly ranty and sorry for myself etc. I've also had this horrible cough bug lately so I've stopped running so have managed to gain a load of weight as well - joy.

Anyhoo. MaGratgarlik1983, 31, ttc#1, cycle 4 (properly, cp in cycle 2), AF / BFP due around December 12th.

mistywillow17 · 06/11/2014 07:48

Thanks MaGrat Wine
Are you me?!
I'm in exactly the same situation -lingering chest infection, no running, excess pounds accumulating. The Halloween chocolate supplies aren't really helping with that either.

Fleurchamp · 06/11/2014 08:11

Hi all, I will be jumping aboard too if I may?

DH and I started ttc in October. Technically, I am still on the November bus as AF is due next week but we didn't dtd much as DH was either away with work or suffering from man flu Sad

I am currently willing myself not to go to the chemist to buy a FRER. I know the likelihood of a BFP is remote. The only thing stopping me ATM is that I live and work in a village, the news would spread like wildfire!

Dizzy I feel your pain, my DH has said we should stop ttc now until the new year as he doesn't want an August baby!

Stats: 34 TTC #1 cycle 2

MaGratgarlik1983 · 06/11/2014 10:01

Haha Misty how spooky!! You're not a librarian who loves cats are you? Now that would just be odd!

We're going to have another go this cycle then if no BFP will have a break as well over Christmas so we can just relax. Although ironically I booked the Eurostar for our NYE trip as I wasn't sure about flying!

Dozygirl · 06/11/2014 17:29

Just purchased 'an impatient womans guide to getting pregnant' lol. Figured id see if it's got some top tips in there for us all :) im on cycle five and starting to get a bit depressed about it all so hoping this will give me coping strategies. Plus it's the xmas season so might be easier to relax and enjoy not being pregnant. Can eat all the cheese and drink all the wine heeheehee

AmyyLawsonn · 06/11/2014 19:42

Hi all, hope you don't mind if I hop on board!

My story is that we found out we had a mmc a week gone Monday, decided on medical management. First pill taken last Tuesday, booked in Hosp all day last Thursday although bleeding started last Wednesday. So deffo won't hve a seat on the Novemer bus so hoping December will bring me my BFP!

I couldn't be anymore clueless about working out ovulation so hoping to DTD as often as possible and hope to hit the jackpot!

We don't have any children (other than our mini schnauzer who really is like a baby an is say next to me with little pants on as she is I'm heat lol!) but after losing our angel we know now is the time for us to start a family.

And that's that!

Good luck ladies x

CrazyCatMomma · 06/11/2014 21:15

Hopping on the December bus, as got a BFN today, boooooo. Looking on the bright side, looking forward to having a G&T on Fri night after a long TWW Wine

CrazyCatMomma, 30, ttc#1, cycle 2, BFP due 4th Dec

FX everyone!

mistywillow17 · 06/11/2014 21:58

In a slightly better mood today. Guilt free gin and tonic might be helping I guess! I've told DH that we are really going for it this month, and he looks a little bit scared, as well he should.

Forgot to temp this morning - not off to a great start there, but will try to remember tomorrow. I have also ordered stacks of cheap tests from ebay, so I am all ready to fulfil my addiction to peeing on sticks several times a day

MaGrat - you're getting too spooky now - I seriously considered librarianship as a career after my English degree Shock Lucky I'm a dog rather than a cat person or I'd be getting really freaked out right now by my TTC alter ego

mistywillow17 · 06/11/2014 22:00

dozygirl I like the sound of that guide! my patience with TTC went out the window after cycle 1!

N1kkiL · 07/11/2014 06:29

Hi Crazy & Amyy, welcome aboard!

Whilst on the subject of books, has anyone else read Taking Charge of your Fertility? It's been really useful on teaching me the ins & outs of TTC; BBT, CM, what to do & when. It's under £10 on The Book Depository.

dillydollydarling · 07/11/2014 06:35

So I've had my coil out for 9 days so far. I had 4 days of withdrawal bleeding and nothing since. Been DTD every other day as no idea when I may ovulate! My cycles are going to be all over the place so I have no idea when the best time to POAS is?

bessie84 · 07/11/2014 07:23

1 extra ticket for December bus please!

cd 79 (ffs) Im currently on norethisterone to bring on af and will be starting our first cycle of super ovulation with IUI when the cow arrives. AF/ BFP due middle of Dec. (around my 30th birthday, yikes)

good luck all. x x

Dozygirl · 07/11/2014 08:58

Welcome to the newbies.

So far into the book I have learned that the 'just relax and itll happen' attitude u get told all the time is not necessarily true. So all this obsessing we do must be ok haha. Even mega stressed ppl get pregnant so it's not the end of the world. Wonder what I'll learn next :)

AmyyLawsonn · 07/11/2014 12:26

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

Update today that I have my first BFN although only a cheapy so will get a first response while out later. Bittersweet. Feel quite relieved we can start looking ahead. I feel like I need to be in on all this wonderful planning! Ladies... Can anyone give me 'a guide to ovulation for dummies' ? I feel so silly that I can't get my head around it! Am I right to think after mc you would start cd1 as the first day you started bleeding? And then where do I go from there?? Ha ha confusing!

TIA!

P.s hope
You're all well today! Xx

Dozygirl · 08/11/2014 10:00

I think you're in what they call the wtf cycle amy after a mmc so it's hard to know what will go with your body so I'd say just DTD lots and hope for the best. Do u use opk?

Freckles79 · 08/11/2014 11:09

Hello ladies, make room on the bus for one grumpy cow who just got visited by another cow, AF!!
Feeling quite low about it today as I just found out my younger sister is preggers first time around...I'm so so happy for her but also a bit of a knock to my TTC confidence!!! This month I'm going to give fertility gels a go, so fingers and toes crossed!! Good luck everyone xx

Stats:Freckles79, 34, ttc#1, cycle 9, BFP due around 8th December.

Fleurchamp · 08/11/2014 14:59

Good luck freckles my DSis has two DC, both conceived very quickly. I feel the pressure.

Not sure how I would react if she announced another pregnancy right now. Would be difficult xx

MissMonkey · 08/11/2014 15:29

Hi all, I'm hopping on. 26 TTC #1 for a year now. Bfp due 11th December. Been referred to infertility clinic and waiting for appointment number 2 for breakdown of test results... Nerve wrecking but hopefully get answers. Fingers x for all you beautiful ladies that Santa brings a special gift to you all x

AmyyLawsonn · 08/11/2014 15:48

Thanks Dozy I think that's all I can do. No I don't use them I don't really know how they work properly so I would be wasting money! Lol x

Freckles79 · 08/11/2014 15:51

Thanks Fleurchamp... I still feel like a cow for being jealous of her! I had a cry and a huge sticky bun for lunch so feel better now!
Good luck with your test results MissMonkey! Smile

MissMonkey · 08/11/2014 16:14

Thanks freckles79 and I know how hard it must be for you. When we started TTC I decided I didn't want to tell anyone because I didn't want people to ask me about it or treat me differently but I did tell a friend who had been TTC for 2 years. It was nice because we were able to cry on each other's shoulders but she has recently found out she is pregnant and it's so hard now talking to her. I'm so pleased she is as it gives me hope but at same time raises the "why not me" questions and the green eyed monster. But on the positive side December would be a great month... What an amazing present it would be ??

Dozygirl · 08/11/2014 16:44

Lots of sex then for u amy :) I use them because my dp would rather go to bed to sleep so I find it easier to pinpoint when I'm ovulating so I don't tire him out too soon. I just use Internet cheapies and they work well for me.

freckles really hope u get your BFP soon, that must be tough for u seeing your sister getting pg first. I find it tough enough when I find out colleagues are pregnant never mind your family member. But in the meantime u can be a fabulous aunty :) every silver lining and all that.

missmonkey good luck with the test results.
