The December 2014 bus is here armed with mulled wine, mince pies, mistletoe and a sack-full of BFPs

This bus is for anyone ttc hoping to get a BFP in December.

I know it's super early, but as I'm currently on a 2 month enforced break from ttc following a ruptured ectopic, December is the next bus I can catch.

Do feel free to come and join me on the journey.

Glad you're feeling better maGrat. I am too. Been out for an afternoon tea with my friend so we could winge and moan about life so I'm feeling better now. Just gotta get on with it :)

spamanderson · 12/11/2014 19:40

you never know Sue, you still have time for a BFP before Christmas :)

spamanderson · 12/11/2014 19:48

Thanks spinning and good luck to you! Can't believe this time in 2 days I'll have a rather sore hubby, a very empty bank account and hopefully some swimmers stretching their metaphorical legs ha ha!

Mumwannabe82 · 12/11/2014 19:59

Hi ladies, that bitch ticket inspector called AF escorted me off the Nov bus too xx I'll be away from my bf for 5 weeks starting Monday apart from a cheeky day or two so its highly unlikely we can DTD at the right time this cycle but thought I would get my stats up anyway so I don't lose all you lovely people XXX
32, TTC 1, cycle 8 bfp\af due 5th Dec xxx

SueBridehead · 12/11/2014 20:04

Thanks Trixie. Did you start the temping straight after af?

SueBridehead · 12/11/2014 20:05

And thanks spa, what an amazing Christmas that would be! (Apart from the no drinking of course!)

Ahh double post, sorry!

Boobear1983 · 12/11/2014 21:24

After AF kicked me off the november bus i shall jump on the december bus.

And just for info....

31, ttc 1, cycle 2, bfp due dec 12th

MaMaPo · 13/11/2014 02:10

Just checking in. AF this month really knocked me for six (with some other stressful and sad circumstances) and my husband too. I also told my sister that yes, I know I need to 'get onto it' if I want another child, I'm not an idiot, and perhaps she and mum can be a bit more sensitive about it?!

Anyway. At least I get two goes in December.

Stats are
MaMaPo, age 36, ttc#2, cycle 7, BFP due 2nd December.

knittedmittens · 13/11/2014 07:12

Morning.

-Waving- to new passengers, though sorry AF has chased you on to the bus.

MaMaPo Well done for bringing up the insensitive comments, hope they stop now Thanks

I caved and bought some OPKS. I have a 25 day cycle and I reckon I O around Cd 12. When would you start poas?

MaMaPo · 13/11/2014 07:17

If probably start as soon as AF finishes, knitted, that way you'll be thorough. I never got a positive opk though so I stopped using them. CBFM seems to be working better for me (in that I got a peak reading).

Quietlyhopeful81 · 13/11/2014 09:11

Hi ladies! Pretty sure I'm about to be removed unceremoniously from the November bus so grabbing a seat here.

Quietlyhopeful81, age 32, ttc #2, cycle 4, bfp due approx 15th December

spinningirl10 · 13/11/2014 10:45

Sorry to see af arrive for more of you but let's hope this Christmas bus is a lucky one for us all.

Mamapo, I hope the funeral went as well as these things can doThanks

StowFrenchy · 13/11/2014 13:29

Hi everyone! I'm just gonna sit at the back and sulk for a bit if that's ok as AF just made her appearance and i had convinced myself once again that I was preggers... Booooh!
My stats: StowFrenchy, 35, tyc#2, cycle 6 (mc and erpc in May then mc again in September), bfp due 14th of December

StowFrenchy · 13/11/2014 13:34

Hahaha I've just realised I wrote 35 when I actually am 36!!! Completely out of it today, soz...

spinningirl10 · 13/11/2014 19:07

Stow, sorry af got you. Really hope you get your sticky bfp soonThanksWine

StowFrenchy · 13/11/2014 19:56

Thanks spinning much appreciated! Just had a couple of glasses of wine which did help I must say. Hopefully I'll have a BFP for Christmas... :)

Dozygirl · 13/11/2014 20:29

Bbt thermometer arrived just in time for me getting a cold haha! Guessing this months won't be too accurate if this is how I'm starting. Will find out anyway. Poor dp has been ill and he's passed it onto me because he's kind like that. Sharing is caring after all. I'm glad it's this way round tho because at least he's got it out of the way during my AF and not during my fertile window otherwise that would have been a month missed!

Dozygirl · 13/11/2014 21:06

Well I e just finished reading 'an impatient woman's guide to getting pregnant' and what a waste of a fiver that was! Didn't tell me anything I've not learned from here or t'internet already. Oh well.

MaMaPo · 13/11/2014 23:19

Thanks spinning - the funeral was very sad and everyone was a bit of a mess but it was a lovely service. I'm glad I took my daughter with me, she brightened everyone's spirits. But the flights were tricky!

Sorry about AF Stow, you've had a tricky year of ttc it looks like. How old is your #1?

butterflycats · 14/11/2014 05:47

We'll I went to my GP as literally not had a proper period since coming off the pill... Just 1 day of spotting and it's minimal! She was so lovely and getting bloods done today... Hopefully get some answers :)

ceerkay2014 · 14/11/2014 05:58

I am completely new mumsnet, literally just joined. Not sure what I am doing tbh. I am planning to stop contraception and start trying to conceive from next month. Can someone point in in the right direction please, of where I can talk to others similar to me ?? Thank you

N1kkiL · 14/11/2014 07:25

Butterflycats, can I ask how long ago you stopped your pill? I've not had one since August but didn't want to go to docs because I thought they'd just fob me off with a 'wait longer'.

Just to update; my projected AF didn't show so currently on day 4 if SI to try & start OV which also hasn't happened yet. BFP/AF would be due now on Dec 8th. If neither; off to docs for me! Going to pre-book appt & hope to induce 'sods law'!

Mumwannabe82 · 14/11/2014 07:30

Hi ceerkay welcome to mumsnet Smile we have ladies on here ranging from only just starting and some ladies who have been here for a long time and if you read back we all talk about everything from temperatures to cervical fluid to opks to pregnancy tests and possibly the most we talk about is pregnancy symptom spotting!!! We post what's going on with us and support everyone else in the process so a lovely warm welcome, I hope you stick around xxxx
P.s don't forget to give us your stats like age, how many times you have triedto conceive (TTC) how many cycles you have had since trying ( yours would be zero at the moment) and when your next period (AF) is due but we like to put Big fat positive (BFP) instead to feel more positive about it lol xx
