Mmmmm....that sounds nice.
I have just had quiche, salad and a few potatoes!
Not too bad!
Bit of wine later though...........

Conkertree....I'm in a primary school (part-time now) but taught full time for 8 years and now PT for another 4.
Makes me sound OLD!!!
Some of the children I've taught are finishing University now and tower over me scarily!!!!

MrsMcJnr · 06/11/2006 19:22

Hello! No one had anything between meals? pah! don't believe you!!

I had an apple mid morning.

Lunch: wholemeal toast, lightly spread with low fat mayo with tuna, lettuce & tomato. Healthy Living mini choc steamed pud (wasn't worth it!).

Dinner: Homemade cottage pie with green beans.

On my 2nd litre of water as I write this.

Ok... for lunch I had a ham barm, and kettle chips and a yoghurt

I haven't eaten in between, but i didn't need to cos I had lots of kettle chips. oh and a hot chocolate (almost forgot that!)

for tea I had pasta in a pepper/tomato sauce (that I made - does that make up for the kettle chips?? no, ok then ) with a mountain of salad (rocket, lettuce and red onion - yes my breath stinks - no BDing tonight!!)
No dessert cos of the kettle chips, but I am about to have a cup of ovaltine before bed!!

There was me thinking that having to tell everyone what I ate would motivate me to be good... didn't work today. Let's see if it does tomorrow.

PS. No exercise unless traipsing round the shops to find a cardi counts??

Natty1806 · 07/11/2006 09:53

Well in the evening i had an options mint hot choc then my OH gave me a kinder egg - how could i say no?

ill today so had some granary toast and orange juice, not sure how well i will do on the water, I dying for a cup of tea but this will be day 4 without tea or coffee and i must not give in.

Hope everyone else is being good well ish.

ready4motherhood · 07/11/2006 11:17

Apparently... (don't you just love sentences that start with that word!!) you shouldn't just cut out caffeine, it's not good for you, the body will be going cold turkey and you might start to feel poorly (coincidence??)... they say to cut down and then cut out.

It's probably a myth

Natty1806 · 07/11/2006 11:42

Might be true, i only used to have a max of 3 cups a day so wouldn't have thought it would make this much difference but may it has, you never know.

Going to have a nice bowl of soup for lunch and some pain killers as my back is killing me today and have bad AF pains (no af yet)

ready4motherhood · 07/11/2006 12:09

That sounds like a plan Natty!! Curl up with a hot water bottle!!

ready4motherhood · 07/11/2006 12:11

Today I have had a bowl of Quaker OatCrisp with skimmed milk (I can't have any other milk now - it's all too cloying)
And some toast.
A glass of cranberry and orange juice.
A cup of rooibos tea (found it in Sainsbury's yesterday, naturally caffeine free - tastes good)
1/2 a litre of water.

conkertree · 07/11/2006 13:15

i am having soup from the covent garden soup company - have always fancied trying them but a bit expensive so when i saw them on special offer I thought I'd give them a go. Stupidly bought the smoked haddock one though - nobody in my office will talk to me now.

Natty1806 · 07/11/2006 13:40

Don't think i would like that soup. Af has arrived so desperatley trying to avoid chocolate.

ready4motherhood · 07/11/2006 14:05

Oh no Natty, so sorry to hear about AF, what a btch!! Why don't you eat chocolate during AF? I have* to have it then!!! good luck for a December BFP!!!!

Natty1806 · 07/11/2006 15:40

Really want to lose a pound this week so am avoiding the mars bar sat in my fridge. Now gaxaly wholenut ...... might ring OH to get me a bar. That is naughty. Lets hope we all get BFP's in december. xx

MrsMcJnr · 07/11/2006 15:56

ok - might have to draw a line through today - had my porridge & raisins etc this morning but then had a croissant and a cup of coffee at 11am (I was nervous cos I had an interview at 1 and didn't want to rumble). The interview ended up being over lunch and I had quesadillas, chicken ones, not a big plate though. Have a friend coming for dinner. We are testing out my raclette set so ah,eh more cheese! weigh in tomorrow - oh dear!

Coggy - are you going to class tomorrow?

ready4motherhood · 07/11/2006 16:18

I just posted about your job interview on another thread, sorry. How did it go??

ready4motherhood · 07/11/2006 16:23

Oh yeah, and what is a raclette??? I am intrigued!!

coggy · 07/11/2006 18:27

I'm ill!!!!

Only coldy but a bugger of a sore throat and shivery and t-i-r-e-d....................

Still managing to eat a curry tonight though!!!

indignatio · 08/11/2006 06:56

Again yesterday not great
Slightly less coffee and more water
1/2 mango 1 satsuma
6 biscuits with cheese for lunch (oops)
Fajitas (inc cheese avocado and soured cream dip)
and again 1/2 bottle wine (PLus some crisps)
Today WILL be better !!

oh 1 hour walking - so that was an improvement

Natty1806 · 08/11/2006 07:26

Yesterday for tea i have morrocan rice with lamb which was good, but i then followed it with about 8 choc fingers, and half a big bar of cadburys wholenut as you can imagine feel very fat today and only have 2 days to redeem myself and got on the scales this morning and it is not looking good.

Planning to go for a 45 min walk after work and 10 mins on trampoline plus a few toning exercises.

Natty1806 · 08/11/2006 07:26

Coggy - curry is good for a cold (well that's what i think anyway) x

coggy · 08/11/2006 10:21

How about red wine??!!!

Wish I hadn't put alcohol on my TCOYF chart now!!!!

Natty1806 · 08/11/2006 11:18

Helps while your drinking it but might make your worse the next day.

LOL at the chart will have to have a look in a min to see how bad you are being.
x

MrsMcJnr · 08/11/2006 11:19

Hello, weigh in tonight and hope it's ok .

Ready - Raclette is a French way of cooking, it's a grill on top of a heating element and you put little trays underneath to melt your cheese before pouring it on top of what you've grilled on top. Quite fun but all that cheese isn't too healthy!

Coggy - poor you, get well soon remember, you are meant to feed a cold!

Indignatio - you are too tough on yourself! more water, less coffee and 1hr walking is great.

Natty - you are impressive! I don't know how you can even consider trampolining and toning with AF, I ache all over. I joind you with the cadbury's wholenut choc last night, delicious!

indignatio · 08/11/2006 11:21

Thanks MrsMcJrn - good luck for the weigh in

Natty1806 · 08/11/2006 11:43

Thanks Mrs, boobs are still hurting so not sure the trampoline will help with that but am feeling really bloated today so hopefully will feel better after a bit of exercise.
