Morning all, lost 0.5 pounds this week not brilliant but still a loss.

ANyone else weighing today?

MrsMcJnr · 29/09/2006 09:58

Well done Natty! and thanks for your words of encouragement! Don't forget everyone that the secret MN patrol will be watching you over the weekend to make sure that you are not too indulgent!

Natty1806 · 29/09/2006 10:10

Thanks Mrs McJnr am going to be a little better than normal this weekend, well try at least. x

indignatio · 29/09/2006 13:42

Well done on the loses - bad luck on the gain (can you blame water retention this week?)
I have lost 1.75lb this week - so treating myself to some cheese with my apple for lunch as I type. Ignoring the wagon I should be on is also my downfall Mrs McJnr

Natty1806 · 29/09/2006 13:48

Well done - wish i had scales that did quarter of pounds.

indignatio · 29/09/2006 14:48

Weight watchers digital scales from argos - about £12 I think

I loved my old scales but people kept telling me that they weighed light - maybe thats why I liked them !!

RachelRose · 29/09/2006 15:36

Hello - Would you mind if I joined! Have steadily been gaining weight since I started my new job in April (big lunches ).

Would love to lose a stone (ish) by xmas, plus of course the BFP. I'll weigh every Friday, so will take my starting weight tonight when I get home.

Natty1806 · 29/09/2006 15:38

yep join in, good luxk rachelrose.

Natty1806 · 29/09/2006 15:38

sorry luck.

coggy · 29/09/2006 21:22

I've drunk every night since being away.

AND eaten cake each day.........

I am gong to be HUGE on my return.

Natty1806 · 30/09/2006 08:35

Ah yes but am sure you will go back to being a saint and losing weight.

MrsMcJnr · 30/09/2006 10:23

Hello, hello! My scales weigh heavy which means I always think the weigh in will be worse than it is! Didn't drink much last night because I fell asleep in the middle of my first glass of wine!

Have written everthing down for the last few days though - even the yummy Thai meal I had on Thurs night that I can't begin to count up! but I did dance alot at One Night of Queen - they were really good!!

Hope you all have a good weekend - I agree with Natty Coggy, you're on your hols and it's your b'day - great reasons (not excuses!!)

coggy · 30/09/2006 16:45

Well I'm glad that you both have that attitude because...............

..........I weighed myself yesterday and had put on SIX POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is that even possible in a couple of days??????!!!!!

Donbean · 30/09/2006 17:03

Cant stop eating, just cant.
Got af today so i should be ok after today but i dont want to go to WW on Thursday as i dont want to hear what they will say.
Got to really pull things back this week.
Think thin,think thin......

Natty1806 · 01/10/2006 09:56

Yes think thin Donbean. I know how hard it is when AF arrives, i am already planning a night in with a tub of ben and jerrys when she arrives followed by a night out on the piss.

By Monday you should be feeling slighlty better and can sometimes do wonders in3/4 days of goodness, so enjoy your food this weekend and then monday - think thin!

Sorry about the AF x

Natty1806 · 01/10/2006 09:57

6 pounds is not too bad coggy remember you had just lost 12? in a few weeks so i am sure in two weeks time that 6 pounds will have gone.

MrsMcJnr · 02/10/2006 09:21

Morning all!

Coggy - the average person puts on 1/2 stone on holiday so 6 pounds is good plus, how annoying would it be if you stayed the same when you ate anything and everything you want and then didn't lose when you tried really hard? that's how I think of my honeymoon stone anyway (now 4 months ago and I still have it

Donbean - you have to go to class, that will wipe the slate clean for the next week and give you your motivation back. If you don't go, you'll find it even harder to go the next week and you might give up. Be brave!

How is everyone else? feel lardy today!

Hi!

I weighed myself on Friday so have my starting weight. I dont normally weigh myself at all and can still (vaguely) remember the time I was 8 stone something. Not anymore though . Am about 2 stone heavier now!!

Behaved quite badly (food-wise ) at the weekend, so dont really deserve a to have lost anything but I'll be trying hard this week.

MrsMcJnr · 02/10/2006 14:36

well ......maybe apart from lunctime tomorrow RachelRose!

pussycatmomma · 02/10/2006 21:17

hello, i just wondered if i could join? i am normally on the ttc thread for the oldtimers, but thought maybe i should branch out a little! This thread title suited me just fine. Any one mind if i join in?? Losing a stone would be just perfect for me right now, and i could really do with the support. I dont have scales at home, but am thinking of buying some just to find a starting point. Can any one recomend any? Hope to chat to you all in the coming weeks
Heres hoping trying to lose weight will be yet another thing to try and take my mind off ttc

coggy · 02/10/2006 21:31

Good to see you on here Pussycat..........it's several of us old timers on here anyway so you're in good company!!

Trace recently arrived and has now left again(for good reason!!)

Hopecat, Natty, MrsMac and I started the original "Twiglet Threads" but are still on our battle in fighting the flab with various results.

We have lots of Christmas converts which is FAB!!!

Here's to all of us skinnies.......!!!

coggy · 02/10/2006 21:39

Oh...........and of course wannaBe and Juicy Lucy (and Rachee who I note hasn't been around and weighing for quite some time now.....tut tut!!!! )

coggy · 02/10/2006 21:40

Can you tell that I've had two VERY large glasses of wine and not thinking (or seeing) very straight???!!!!

Ooops!!
NOT a good example to set a new disciple of thin-ness eh?!

pussycatmomma · 02/10/2006 21:48

good for you coggy, hope you are enjoying it! by the way , i have been reading up on iui, and my sister in law had the procedure. As soon as i read about the sperm washing and putting back etc it clicked with me that was what she had described to me. I didnt know her back then, me and dh together for 4 yrs , her twins are 8 now. How is it all going for you?

coggy · 03/10/2006 07:32

I'm going to start the IUI after Christmas I think.

The meeting to discuss it went well and I feel much more confident about doing the daily injections (although obviously I would love to not need to!!!)

So.....watch this space for coggy's multiples I guess!!!!!
