I have reached bding week again. Have some contraception tho in the form of a spotty ds who doesn't like sleeping at the moment or prefers to sleep with mummy rather than letting daddy! Hopefully we can get in a couple of quickies this month!

Definitely not PG, B**tch AF came bang on time so have been depressed since Saturday even hard to write today and say it out loud 'so to speak'!

Not sure I have the inner strength to cope with this heartache every month. Need a distraction.

Don't think I will pay attention to dates etc for a while and get back to the gym - not sure how else to cope with things.

Hmmm, smellymelly - I'm inclined to think that too, so I'm not going to be surprised at all if that's what it turns out to be. In fact I really just want it to get on with things so we can start thinking about next cycle, rather than dragging this one out with this stop-start bleeding. I haven't a clue where I am now cycle-wise. Day 33 of the last one, or Day 13 counting from the first spotting, or day 2 counting from the first continuous bleed (which lasted all of about 3-4 hours)? Guess I'll need to invest in a load more OPK's to work out exactly where I am rather than being able to second guess where in the cycle to start using them.

Anyway that what I meant to say earlier, but I realise I somehow left out, was that it although the test was definately negative after three minutes, when I went out for the day I forgot to throw the test away first. Lo and behold, when I got home there it was showing a faint positive line. Not even all that faint really - sort of half strength. Talk about mixed signals.

Mosegirl sorry to hear about AF. GillW your cycle sounds very confusing - have you had this sort of on/off spotting / bleeding before? BeckiF sorry to hear about your Nanna. It's not surprising you're feeling down at the moment - hang on in there. I hope you're right about your hormones kicking in - it's about time they did. AF hasn't arrived for me yet, although was due on Saturday if this month was like last month. I feel at a bit of a loss not having used OPKs or temping this time. As it was an off-month for me and I have been feeling pre-menstrual I don't know what is going on - I even did a test this morning, which of course was a BFN. I'm sure it's just my body playing tricks.

Azure - no have never had this before, but then it's been a while since I've had a cycle anywhere near this long. More typical lately to get OV about day 10 or 11, and AF about day 21/22.

Am CD19 (i think) and already get the feeling that it is not going to be my 'lucky cycle'. Feel that life would not be the same if i did not have to go through this crap every month! It has become a part of me and my routine. I mean, what would i do with myself?!?

AF is in for it this cycle!!!! Grrrr!

GillW is it worth doing a test just to know where you are, or are you pretty sure it is / has been AF? AF arrived for me last night - 2 days late just to keep me on my toes. ChaCha, I agree - what would we do with ourselves if it weren't for ttc!

Hi I'm still here. Still no AF and I've been comfort eating for the last few days too which is bad

Probably going south tomorow/Thursday and the funeral is Friday so I'll not be around for a few days.

I have been feeling negative about my situation over the last couple of days, wondering whether its all worth it, wondering what alternatives I can do rather than have a baby, I can't find a good enough reason to give up trying. Its soooo good to hear good news - I'm so jealous. Take care x
