OK so I'm going to start this one off - this will be the luckiest and most reproductive thread ever

GOOD LUCK TO ALL THAT WRITE HERE**

OP posts:
Kay1 · 14/05/2004 09:45

I'm also waiting for AF this weekend - now on day 25 and due sunday. I haven't been posting here over last week as i've been trying to keep very very busy in attempt not to think about it so much!! Have finally agreed with dh that we will only try this month and possibly next and then give up so it's all getting a bit too much tbh - temps started to go down yesterday but slightly up today so don't know whats going on and am finding the up/down emotions exhausting...i wish i could know for sure NOW and then deal with whatever the consequences are.....

Kay1 · 14/05/2004 09:46

forgot to dsay - good luck chacha - really good to know so exactly when you've ov'd - good luck to everyone else waiting to test too!!!

ChaCha · 14/05/2004 10:04

Thanks Bunny, but do you think that there is a possibility that some went in??
Start the progesterone today, have the flu so didnt BD this morning, couldnt be bothered! It always seems like there is something EVERY cycle stopping my chances of PG. At home feeling lousy..sure hope i was in with a chance yesterday.

Sneeze, cough, splutter x

ChaCha · 14/05/2004 10:05

OH, selfish me!! Kay1, hope this is your month! Only a few more days. Fingers crossed.

BeckiF - everything okay?

Schmozer · 14/05/2004 10:28

Mosegirl, I don't really think I've had any symptoms at all this month. No sore boobs or metallic taste. The last few days I've had a few moments of nausea and I did have some mild cramping last Sunday which could have been implantation I suppose. Last month I was dizzy for two weeks after OV and was convinced I was PG, so I don't want to read anything into anything and be disappointed again. Much easier said than done, of course!

ChaCha - remember it only takes once as SmellyMelly can testify (and what an inspiration she is with only one tube as well) so don't worry too much (I can talk!). I also prop myself up for 20 minutes afterwards and it doesn't all stay in but DH reckons some of the millions must get to where they're going and it only takes one after all. As for TMI and being vulgar - there really is no dignified way to describe it, is there?!

I think there are four of us hoping for event-free weekends, so will be thinking of us all. I will be in the Lake District with DH and my parents for a few days from tomorrow so I won't be able to check in until Wednesday. All the best to you all for now.

GillW · 14/05/2004 10:48

No symptoms here either - except the negative one of once-a-day spotting for the last 10 days now. But have somehow managed to lose 7lbs in just 4 days, so something to be pleased about anyway

bunny2 · 14/05/2004 10:51

ChaCha, it only needs one tiny sperm out of millions to get in for you to get pg. Heaps of luck. Bxx

ChaCha · 14/05/2004 15:24

Just what a girl needed to hear
How's you Bunny? Whats your news?

BeckiF · 14/05/2004 17:51

Still no AF ...... maybe I'm turning into a man. Getting more and more facial and chest hair. I hate being me

bunny2 · 14/05/2004 19:14

hi ChaCha, have you seem all my posts? I have been in a right state, had a miscarriage scare last night but all is ok and my bouncing baba is measuring 12wks 4 days. I am so releived and now determined to start to enjoy my pregnancy.

Looking out for the first February 2005 post. Who will it be??

Lots of luck to all of you.Bxxxx

bunny2 · 14/05/2004 19:14

BeckiF, that's crap, I am sorry. your day will come.

Morgan · 14/05/2004 20:33

Hi everyone and esp Bigbird. Thanks for your enquiry re the lap.

It went fine although i did feel worse afterwards than i thought i would - just discomfort really but i did feel about 100, shuffling around and bleeding a bit although i did have my af as well. BUT the good news is that they didn't find anything wrong and i am seeing the cons again in a couple of weeks re drugs (clomid i imagine) and injections to release the egg so we'll see.

ChaCha · 14/05/2004 23:06

Bunny, glad all is well. Keep me posted on ur baby updates!

BeckiF, am a bit crap with words if you know what i mean, i never get it right. All i can say is that we are all here for you. It will be your turn one day!

Morgan, i remember my lap last year, 'It only hurts when i laugh' would have been the understatement of the year. I was in stitches!
(Sorry, just a little late night humour).

Well am off to wrestle with first dose of cyclogest!! Yuk!

Everyone have a great weekend, good luck to you all!! xx

BeckiF · 15/05/2004 19:25

I do appreciate your words ladies, I can't help feeling so helpless. At the moment I'm crying at everything! Watching Stars in their Eyes kids final and everyone has made me cry! You could be forgiven for thinking I'm pg but I'm not, as I did a test earlier in the week.

My weight is as ongoing battle that I am losing. However I am grateful and fortunate to have a gorgeous dp. He adores and cherishes me and indulges me as much as any man ever could. Part of me says I should be happy with my lot, but I'm sure there are those of you who know how I feel. He and I have been trying since 2001. Anyway, IVF waiting for me when I'm ready...maybe it's our only hope, or maybe that won't work either ......

ChaCha · 15/05/2004 21:05

BeckiF, just keep looking on the bright side. It sounds like your in a fantastic relationship and that is really something in these troubled times. I have girlfriends who have been in and out of relationships for years and still looking for Mr. Right. Looks like you've got him! That's something! Maybe we could all start a new thread, i could do with losing a few pounds myself (actually a few stone, marriage has fattened me up) that might give us all the encouragement we need. What do you think?

Keep smiling! Give your dp a hug x

Girly · 15/05/2004 21:51

Hi ladies, can I add myself to the list?!

I am on my 1st month of ttc baby no3. Good luck to all of you!

gold123 · 15/05/2004 22:03

Hello and welcome Girly - I hope your stay is a short one - in the nicest possible way.

Any news from this weekends testers ? Azure, Mosegirl, Schmozer and Gillw

gothicmama · 16/05/2004 12:55

Thought I'd pop in with some baby dust for all of you ttc I am just in the hand of fate although am still aware of everything but it is less stressful Good luck all

BeckiF · 16/05/2004 16:33

Feeling ultra-low today. My beautiful Nanna passed awy this morning and my granddad passed last November. Kind of takes the wind out of your sails ...

Still no AF although I had a slight twinge in the ovary area this morning. Could be ovulation of just a period type pain. Have had lumpy boobs for weeks which is usually a sign that my hormones are having a go at kicking in. The left one is always the first to get 'painful'. Twice I've been to the docs fearing that the lumps are something awful and each time I've come on a few days later. Normally though they get very tender and sore and that's not happening at the moment ..... I'll keep you all posted.

I hope some more of you graduate soon.

bluestar · 16/05/2004 19:06

BeckiF, sorry to hear about your Nanna, thinking of you x

OP posts:
ChaCha · 16/05/2004 19:33

Sorry to hear about your nan BeckiF.

ChaCha · 16/05/2004 19:42

I told you all on Thursday that i had ovulated just an hour before the scan was done right? Well that was CD12!! (I thought it was CD13) is that normal - to ovulate so early?? Confused

bunny2 · 16/05/2004 20:42

ChaCha, CD 12 or 13 isnt really early to ovulate. The average is roughly day 14 but a few days either side shouldnt make any difference.

BeckiF. sorry

GillW · 17/05/2004 11:57

Did a test yesterday (CD32) and got a resounding negative. Thought AF had arrived yesterday afternoon as the spotting had become more of a very light, but continuous bleed. But by this morning it had stopped again. Just thoroughly confused and don't know what on earth's going on now.

smellymelly · 17/05/2004 13:18

GillW Sounds like af.

Chacha - I have ovulated on day 11 or 12 before, it is fine, apparently it is the length of time post ovulation that is important.

Any other news???
