Had GP appointment today. I'm now 6 weeks but I feel awful! Ha ha. Scared that the sickness is going to get worse, cause I already feel yuck.

Got midwife appointment on 16th Sept and first scan on 7th Oct! Eeek!

Hi everyone, cd 28 today and spotting I had on sunday and Monday last week has stopped, then nothing, then yesterday I had a bit of brown blood (sorry tmi!) then nothing at all again. Been having cramping pains since last weekend too so I am trying not to read into it (although I have already thought ' ooooh its implantation!) haha! Af due between tomorrow and Tuesday I'd say due to slightly varying cycles!!
Will keep you all informed! Hope you all have a fab bank holiday (despite the bad weather predicted!)

Hello all, I'm back as well! Feeling much better now :) will try and catch up on the thread over the weekend.
congrats to all who have got bfps! And thank you to those lovely ladies who have emailed me to check I'm ok. So lovely of you.
My morning sickness started to go a week ago and I haven't been sick for for 11 days now!! I'm started to enjoy it. My scan was amazing and got a great clear picture :)
ducky hope you're ok and glad you are back too. I also didn't want to put a downer on the thread so sat out for a while.

How many weeks is everyone now?
I am 21 weeks tomorrow and I know Ducky is ahead of me. I can't believe how quickly it is going.

I'm 22+2 now crazy isn't it!! It seems to have gone so fast but so slow at the same time!

By the way Cupcake the Quinny was delivered late on this afternoon. It looks huge with all the bits and boxes. We have put it in the baby's room for now. There is not much room for the baby! DH is going to assemble it tomorrow and take the boxes to the tip.

He is at the pub. I am in bed with the cats and my ipad and a big mug of Yorkshire tea.

You really have not got long now Ducky- you are being induced early aren't you? When does your ML start?

Let me know if u don't like the quinny lulu and ill happily take it off ur hands bless I'd love a cuppa but I've already had the 2 cup minimum today :(

Cupcake I am keeping it! Today we saw a couple pushing their baby along the seafront in a pram bit and I could just see us . He was pushing and she was walking beside him with her arm tucked through his and they looked so happy. Aww!

I am really hungry tonight but am not eating at this time because I get heartburn. The bump is wriggling, I can feel him. I could just eat a huge cheese and tomato toastie.

I think you sound like you are going to be absolutely fine next week at the scan and then you will be able to relax and not worry.

Glad to have you back ducky and kitkat remember you can always have a whinge on here - that's what we're here for!!
I'm at my mum's now being looked after feeling much better and tempted to stay next week too as I'm still signed off work.
DP hasn't told his mum - apparently she's really stressed at the moment an he doesn't want to make it worse!! I said he should wait til after 12 wk scan because if she does react badly I don't want any stress in the first trimester. But like you said cupcake, bollocks to anyone who disapproves!

ducky and lulu so excited about how quickly the times gone and how far along you are now!! What colour quinny did you get lulu? Have you bought anything yet ducky?
I'm having a bit of a cold feet phase and thinking "what about being slim and going out and drinking cocktails and building my career???!!!" it's weird how you can want something so much that you don't enjoy what you've got and then when you get it you're like, "....oh."

Can I say on ur last point, deffo hormones. And very normal!
I felt like that with DS and was like "no more going out drinking (no that I ever did anyway lol!) no more waking up when I want etc. but now DS is here I couldn't care less about those thins :) ull be fine lilla!

And oh my gosh my DH won't tell his dad yet as he said he's too stressed also! I said to DH 'surely telling him he has another grandchild would cheer him up. And if it doesn't then I'll be having words.' Hahaa. But still, he should be happy about being a grandad :(

Morning all, I'm 15 weeks on Monday. It is going really quickly for me too! Going on honeymoon in 2 weeks :) and off to Norfolk for the weekend today. When did you guys feel your first definately movements. I have felt little things for a few weeks but nothing definate.x

Yes lulu I am being induced at 38 weeks 37 if I really have to but am trying to hold on I haven't taken any annual leave this year due to being off for most of it so am taking annual leave before mat leave, will be finishing the start of October! When do you all plan on taking yours?

Lil, hope your mom is really looking after you and like you said bollocks to dh's mom if she doesn't approve!

About the movements, I'm not much help really, with dd I had an anterior placenta so didn't really feel definite movements, this time I think I had flutters from about 17 weeks that gradually got stronger in te space of a week but were very irregular (to the point I've had the midwife out 5 times )
