I'm feeling rather emotion today. Think it's because 2 of my old friends have just given birth. It's crazy how I'm missing someone I never even knew or got to meet. But i do :( thought it'd be easier to deal with now but it's not. Keep hearing over n over those words "I'm sorry but there's no heartbeat"
I'm sorry to keep going on about it but I dunno who else to talk to :(

Unfortunately cupcake I think that's a moment that will always replay in your head youl probably find it will be especially hard when you go for your first scans when you get your BFP sorry your feeling low at the moment. It might not be what you want to hear right now but it will become easier to deal with over time x

I can't talk to DH as he doesn't want to talk about it and I can't talk to my mom as she doesnt understand so it's just comforting being able to let out my feelings here where people do understand, if u know what I mean?

Hii Ladies. Im new here so sorry for butting in! Im not sure if im in the right place so here's my story...

So iv been off the pill for a few months and my period went back to a 28 day cycle pretty much straight away. My next cycle was 31 days long and only lasted for a day which has never happened before. Me and my partner had unprotected sex throughout the month and around ovulation day. My period is 4 days late this month (expected it to be a 31 day cycle) iv got lower back ache, headaches throught the day, slightly sensitive boobs (kinda feel prickly) lower abdamon feels 'funny' i feel sick but i dont actually be sick. Iv broke out in alot of spots this week which i never do but i have been feeling under the weather these past few days? Iv also had that strange metalic taste in my mouth on two seperate days and im always hungry like im never full (maybe i just use it as an excuse to eat lol) I took a test 1 day after AF was due but it was neg and again 2 days past AF and still neg. Are these syptoms leading to anything or am i driving myself insane? I just feel weird in my lower abdamon area?? I don't want to keep buying pregnancy test aa the do costs and am i just waisting my time?? Anyone help me out? No catty comments please, im sure we are all grown up women!!

It will take time for you cupcake where abouts in your cycle are you now?

Emz, unfortunately I don't think any of us can answer that, when did you last test? It could be early pg symptoms or it could be your body still getting used to coming off the pill. Were you monitoring ovulation in any way? I hope you get the result your hoping for though

Hi Ducky23 thanks for replying. It's such a crazy thing our bodies hey?!!
I last tested on sunday the 11th of oct and BFN. I wasn't tracking my ovulation in detail but think it was the 23/24 of september. We are ttc but i believe things happen when they happen. Just disapointing seeing that BFN Think my AF is playing games with me this month to send me crazy!!

If say test again if you haven't tested since Sunday, keep us updated

Yea Tori iv read similar things too but always think "that wont be me!" On friday AF will be 7 days late so if she doesn't turn up i'll test and keep you updated!! Thanks ladies

Yes Emz I agree to test again :)
But remember the pill messes up cycles a lot and can make u think u have pg symptoms. But I definitely have heard of women getting bfp up to 2 weeks after AF was due! So keeping my fx for u :)

Ducky I'm only on CD 6!! :( I'm still on AF tho which is unusual as I normally finish on CD 3 haha :p

Hi Cupcake, yes i understand coming of the pill can mess up your cycles, i came off 3/4 months ago now. Didnt have a period for a while then they went to 2 28 day cycles then a 31 day cycle(where i was on for just a few hours) and im now on a 36 day cycle (expected it to be a 31 day again) soooo frustrating isn't it. Iv never really felt pg symptoms before my period but this month its just weird. Shortness of breath is a symptom to isnt it? Just walked up the stairs and felt breathless and im always feeling wet 'down their' so sorry tmi bit i feel like AF is starting and i go see and its nothing! Maybe im reading to much into things and if i go get more pg test i might just look crazy in my local chemist!! "/

Id say test using fmu as it's been a few days since you last tested

I did the sunday test(2 days beung late) with my first morning urine and that was a neg. Iv just done one today(at 4pm) on a stick that you dip into your pee and that was negative. If i was pregnant surely it would show as im 5 days past my expected period start date?! arrrghhhh the tww was bad enough nevermind extra days past that! Maybe i ovulated late so period might be late? Who knows...will see on friday when im 7 days late. If not i'll book in to see the doctor!! Just hate waitimg around. If im not preg i just want my period so then we can try again next month!

It could be that your urine is too diluted at that time Emz, have you tried a first response (I swear by them!) and use fmu. I know someone who ony got a faint BFP when they were 6 weeks pg

Ducky i used a clear blue digital test on sunday and today iv just used a home bargins cheap strip test. I think im sending myself crazy as im late or maybe i am pregnant and its just not showing yet...it does happen right?! If im not pregnant I just want my period..iv never been wishing for a period so bad do i know whats happening! Me and the partner want to get cracking with making babies but AF is playing hide and seek this month!!

Deffo test again Emz with fmu and like u say If still bfn give doctors a call and they Can do a blood test :)

That's understandable Ducky :( I'm sure It would have been full of emotion and tears. Not that it already isn't at home. As I can imagine it is. I've 100% not been myself tonight. Not sure what's up with me, something isn't going right with me as I'm just so upset all the time :( think I cry at least once a day. Think I need to sort myself out

You have been through a very traumatic thing cupcake, you probably need more time , and AF showing up and being like it has has probably affected you more than you realised. Is DH being supportive recently?

I tested this morning with fmu and still BFN i thought there was a slight faded line but I think i need to stop kidding myself and just wait for AF to be really late (6 days late now) Still got these weird signs but now im thinking it must be in my head and im crazy!! Hope you both get BFP soon!! X
