Yes !!! Fab news enjoy your day !!

MrsPopple29 · 13/10/2014 15:15

Hey everyone,

How are you all?I haven't been on here for a couple of months as was getting really stressed out with TTC... So this month (cycle 7) we had a month 'off' and only DTD once during fertile week, no ov tracking or anything... And this morning I got a BFP! Clearblue 2-3 weeks. Still don't really believe it as I have had lots of mild cramping and convinced period will arrive any second. Also had tests last month and have a small cyst on left ovary- that shouldn't cause a false positive should it? Am very much in shock still.

Will catch up on thread now!

Ducky23 · 13/10/2014 15:20

Omg mrs Popple!!! Massive congrats!! I wouldn't have thought that would cause a false positive! GrinGrinGrin

Two lots of fab news in one day!!! Grin

Cupcake92 · 13/10/2014 15:22

Tori OMG congrats I'm so so happy for u!!!! :D
And congrats Popple fantastic news!!! :D

Sorry I haven't replied mumsnet hasn't been working at all for me :(
And I didn't realise the first AF would be so heavy. :( I'm still very heavy now, CD4. Normally it would have completly stopped by now.
Have been really struggling the past few days in terms of feelings etc. just wish I was pregnant still.

Hope everyone is okay

poppet85 · 13/10/2014 15:35

Sorry cupcake, what a crap time for you Sad I know after pregnancy your cycle can be completely messed up, after dd I only had light bleeding for a week then my cycle was 3 weeks with 7 days AF Confused, and the next was 45 days (I think) it was usually around 60 ish days with 3 days of AF before.

21questions · 13/10/2014 17:13

Tori what lovely news Grin So happy for you.

Congratulations popple on ur bfp. So thats what you have to do to get pregnant - stop trying Wink

bradders85 · 13/10/2014 18:49

mrspopple great to see your back I had been thinking of you and wondering how you were getting on! congratulations on your bfp!! :)

Siarie · 14/10/2014 09:23

Yay congrats mrspopple a postive is a positive as its when the egg implants and attaches that it starts to produce the HCG hormone.

MrsPopple29 · 14/10/2014 18:52

Thanks very much everyone!

Really hope you start to feel better soon cupcake. Sorry to read about what you've been through. So much has changed/happened since I was last on here, have been trying to catch up a bit!

Glad to see you're all generally doing well, and congrats Tori on your scan :)

I got up at 5am this morning to poas, just to check the line was still there. Why do I feel like the crazy is only just beginning....?!

And yes, 21questions... as much as I wanted to punch every person who said 'you need to relax and stop trying!' in the face, it really seemed to make the difference this month. I had completely written it off due to (what i thought was) bad timing and general lack of dtd, so it really was a massive shock.

It's really nice to catch up with you all again x

Cupcake92 · 14/10/2014 19:32

glad uve got ur BFP popple :) hopefully it'll happen to me in the next month or 2! We arent gonna try properly aftet this cycle. So I'm having my fx it works this cycle! As cycle 3.... It'd be due on DS's bday! And we rele dont want that to happen. So fx we conceive this cycle!!

Ducky23 · 14/10/2014 20:08

Oh gosh cupcake! Same birthdays Grin

Went for a check up today and they were worried about my iron Hmm on more tablets now!

Cupcake92 · 14/10/2014 20:44

I know Ducky! They'd hate it when they grow up! Grin

Oh no not iron tablets? :( I was on 3 a day but that was after I had DS. But make u feel horrible don't they? :(

Ducky23 · 14/10/2014 20:50

I have only just been given them, two a day to add to all my others!

I keep reading on forums that they make you feel awful but no where says why Confused what type of side effects do you get?

Cupcake92 · 14/10/2014 21:05

Sorry if it's tmi but they very much mess ur digestive system! Sometimes going ALL the time and sometimes it was very hard to go at all! And they made me feel sick a lot.

Ducky23 · 14/10/2014 21:38

Ah fab!!! Confused Haha

As if it's not already messed up as it is!

Did they make you feel any better? Less tierd?

Cupcake92 · 14/10/2014 21:49

I couldn't tell u if I was less tired as I had just had DS and was very tired anyway Grin hahaa! But I drsperatly did need them :s I lost A LOT of blood from from csection, the midwife was shocked at how much id lost! They did make me look more pink as I was very pale.
I think I did have more energy from them tho.

Siarie · 14/10/2014 21:52

I've been on and off iron tablets for years, they don't cause me any problems so there's no guarantee that they will for you ducky.

I'm taking one a day at the moment as I'm very aware when my iron is low.

Got the Doppler out this evening to check the heartbeat. It was there but the baby is moving around more now so even when I hold it still it fades out. I'm really happy with my doppler as it has the beats on a screen so I know it's not my heartbeat (too fast).

Siarie · 14/10/2014 21:56

I've been terribly anemic in my life. Down to a 2/3 when normal is 12 in the UK. It will make you feel less tired and you won't feel short of breath anymore if you already do.

I don't eat meat so don't get much iron from my food, but also I had a marker for an auto immune disease where your body doesn't keep the red blood cells for long enough. It was never confirmed fully though, I think I have it as I get anemic very quickly.

Ducky23 · 14/10/2014 22:03

I hope they don't make me feel crap! Confused

I just guessed the breathlessness was baby squashing my insides Grin
