Hello Ladies!

Thought I'd try and get some of the 20+ hopeful Mummies together.

My lovely DP and I don't want to let on that we're TTC so I'm lacking friends and a chit chat about all the downstairs what not. DP will die inside if he has to hear about cycles/ovulation or temperatures anymore!

Let's get some BFPs going!

I'm not patient either. Really hoping my new tact is going to be more successful and this month I will get my BFP. Good luck to you rough, keep us updated.

Is anyone taking prenatals? I've cried twice today for pretty minor reasons. Have been taking prenatals for two weeks and wonder if it is related, I'm not by nature prone to crying. Not prenenstual either

How are you feeling today Ali? I'm not taking prenatals but feeling overly emotional this week, it would be nice if it was pregnancy hormones or sadly it could be AF arriving I can't believe that this is my 9th month of trying. Wondering if this is a normal timescale or if I should visit Gp.

I have checked my cm and today according to my app im 5dpo and my last cycle was 23 days. my cm is creamy looking but still watery. .. its not sticky and not a lot showing in my underwear.

is this normal? what does it mean? thanks in advance

Feeling better today, though I have forgotten to take prenatals all week so far. I wasn't on the pill before so am not in the habit of taking tablets everyday!

Hi all how is everyone? I am back to stay as DH and I have decided to fast forward and start now rather than wait another month as planned. Been off the pill now for 10 days hoping for bfp! According to ovia I ov next Friday but I am sure I had EWCM yesterday but is this too soon?

How early can I reasonably do a pregnancy test and expect to see anything/get an accurate result?

I know we've only been trying from the start of this month but I want to be one of those lucky people who gets pregnant immediately, though suppose we all do

Alis I think 4 days before AF is the maximum.

I'm now on CD42 and still negative tests. Boo

how's the symptom spotting going?

I feel dizzy today ! projected period is 4th October to start. I've only had 1 period since coming off the pill in aug so do I just wait it out ? :((( also in the week had bad headaches and pelvic cramps! !! bet it's all just in my head tho...

im 22 and my husband is 40 so we are hoping it happens fast !

My DH and I have the same age gap you and your DH have amy but we're a couple of years older, respectively.

That is good to know :) I am trying so hard to keep myself occupied by other things but it's proving rather difficult. thing that annoys me is that even though my last cycle was 23 days. ... there's no guarantee this one will be either... I tried to monitor ovulation by cm.... considering it's gone back to creamy jelly type consistency now I'm guessing I ovulated a few days ago... fingers crossed !

Well AF 2 days late. BFN on tests so goodness knows what's going on. Are the cheapy tests from Amazon crap? It's 15 strips for £2! I really hope that this is my month but no BFP on tests

Busywifey how many days past ovulation are you? I'm on cycle day 19 and just had very very light brown spotting, hardly noticeable.

Hoping its implantation bleed!

43 day cycle oh roughtyping that's god awful!! I'm a 32day-er and thats bad enough.

busy give it a couple more days, I've known a couple of people that had been 2 weeks late before they got a BFP

I'm in my 2WW and on cd17, still got 12 days before I can test. 12 more highly anxious symptom spotting days...joy

Well AF has arrived along with disappointment and upset. I had this fantasy in my head that I would get my BFP and be able to tell our families at Christmas . Sorry to hear that rough, how many months have you been TTC? We have been DTD every 2nd night so I just don't know what is going wrong.

busy, we've been trying since around may I think - my memory is terrible. I came off the pill last September but we were using other contraceptives. I never know when I OV. Feeling quite down about it - like you is built it all up in my head that this was our month. Had a dream I got a positive, was not nice to wake up! It will happen, I'm just so impatient.

Hi everyone, can I please join? We have been waiting since August 2013 to start trying, we decided that we would TTC in Jan 2014. My DP then proposed in September 2013, so we decided to wait until after marriage! We got married in September 2014 and started to try on our wedding night. I usually have 27 day cycles. We were using barrier methods of protection so I wasn't on the pill or anything. Now on CD17 and having really vivid dreams (which I never have). Really excited about our future. Hoping everything goes well for you ladies.

Well ladies think im out. spotting at 10dpo on an average 23 day cycle. .. always get this before af arrives and feeling depressed. ugh !!!!

Currently sitting on my hands and trying to wait and see if af will make an appearance later this week. Also trying to not attribute every minor thing to early pregnancy symptoms.

Oh roughty that's an arse. I had a 46 day cycle a few months back, think it was stress related as I'd just been made redundant out of the blue. Back to normal now, so hopefully it will be the safe for you.
