Hello Ladies!

Thought I'd try and get some of the 20+ hopeful Mummies together.

My lovely DP and I don't want to let on that we're TTC so I'm lacking friends and a chit chat about all the downstairs what not. DP will die inside if he has to hear about cycles/ovulation or temperatures anymore!

Let's get some BFPs going!

Cycle day 25 of 28/29 day cycle.

Still sure I'm imagining any symptoms I do have so pretty sure I'm out this month. Oh well.

Hi! I'm the same wishing for pregnancy symptoms as well but I think I'm out! Only on my first real cycle after coming off the pill so unsure when my period is due!? Was hopping I was a 28 day cycle but will see how I go! Hope everyone else is having some luck?

Can i join? I have a 10 month old DS but i'm 24, DP is 25 and it would be lovely to talk to people of a similar age!
DS was a happy accident so this is my first time actively ttc.
Last day of my af today (CD5) so plan to dtd every other day until my next af and see what happens!
I'd like to not become crazy about it but i'm sure i will.

Step mum what did you do this month? Did you know when you were ovulating? Sorry you got your AF. I've been checking daily using ovulation sticks though I'm only on day 8 of my cycle. Just gives me peace of mind iv not hit ovulation yet! I got that super cheap online, could be worth a go?

Used an app called My Days to record and monitor. Just downloaded ovia and I'm impressed! I was thinking about the cheaper ov tests on amazon but may just bite the billet and buy the clearblue ones.

Hi ladies!

So sorry to hear about AF turning up for most of you, we're in it for the long haul though.

Well I'm on honeymoon at the moment and I'm so hurt and angry that I had to come on here and vent.
DH and I had discussed using our honeymoon as a lovely way to DTD and get the ball rolling but as soon as we got here, he pulled out this massive packet of condoms and when we did finally get round to doing something without he stopped before the big finale and just said "it doesn't feel right", I was so upset I just burst into tears. I know it probably feels like I'm forcing him but we've gotta start somewhere right?
I know he's scared but I don't think he's realised just quite how much he's upset me.
Especially today when I'm ov and just a tad over emotional.

Soz for the rant, had to do it somewhere and only you ladies will understand my pain

hello, can I join you? I'm on cycle #5 (or maybe 4 I got a bit confused with withdrawal bleeds and a few other random bleeds after I came off the pill).

I had a very welcome surprise DD when I was 26 who is now 22 months old, and we are very keen to make a little sibling for her. I'm 28 now and working as hard as possible on number 2, although not as easy as I'd hoped. Hope you all get some BFPs soon.

Hi ladies,

I am 24 and my other half is 28 we have decided today to TTC feeling very excited and a bit overwhelmed! Is anyone going about this a certain way or just going for it?! I have just come off the pill so may take a while for my periods to return to normal. Has anyone conceived fairly soon after stopping the pill?

I'm very new to this so sorry if this has all been discussed!

Hi Emily. We dtd according to ovulation times on my days app but conceived the month I tried ovulation prediction kits which showed him was actually fertile earlier in the month than we thought. Good luck!

Hello ladies, I'm back with nothing to report Sad. Many congratulations Ip2014 Smile. Month 9 for us and going about it a different way, AF finished Tuesday so DTD every 2nd day all through month instead of going with working out dates etc. Hoping to have more luck and trying not to worry that we've not had a BFP yet.

Thanks for letting me vent the other week ladies, I'm back from honeymoon now. After the incident DH and I talked it through and he didn't want the pressure of a honeymoon baby, I just wished he had told me that when we were first talking about it and I wouldn't have got so upset. So we are now waiting for AF to arrive and then we are going to start TTC1!

Emilyjane I think general consensus on these boards I have learnt after a bit of stalking is to have a big old DTD marathon from the moment you can every other day until you can't lol. A lot of people use OPKs but I think I will be trying for a few months on my own before I start getting impatient and use those Wink

I've got a really strange pulling pain in my lower abdomen. Worse when I'm up and about. Massively exhausted just now as I'm having a flare of my HMS symptoms which is rotten. Reading all my aches and pains and pregnancy symptoms but I wouldn't be very pregnant at all just now! Heyho, just driving myself mad

I've just tested and got a weird result. Probably because I'm being obsessive. There's a line which isn't a line really, you can only see it when the light shines on it otherwise there's nothing. Will test again tomorrow - need to think of other things today - it's the referendum here!

Roughtyping I am with you on the weird result scenario! I done a cheap test on 13th and got a very faint positive which you can only see under the light Hmm DH agreed with me that there was something there. However, AF not due until 28th so I do not know why I even done the test. My dog is nuzzling my stomach all the time and I've read that animals sense or smell pregnant women Confused but you know how it is when you're looking for all the signs!
