Hello Ladies!

Thought I'd try and get some of the 20+ hopeful Mummies together.

My lovely DP and I don't want to let on that we're TTC so I'm lacking friends and a chit chat about all the downstairs what not. DP will die inside if he has to hear about cycles/ovulation or temperatures anymore!

Let's get some BFPs going!

Hi roughtyping. Sorry to hear. I don't know what it is.

I have had some blood from dtd before but it's usually more of a pale pink and not a lot at all.

I'm not sure what it is but I hope you're ok.

Tomorrow will be cd 49 for me and no sign of anything.

I will poas next week.

I didn't expect to get pregnant early because I have been on contraception for so long.

However, I am hoping I am pregnant as I have been so exhausted, and there is other stuff going on which I just can't explain.

I was speaking to a friend who have birth a few weeks ago and she said she didn't get any spotting and had no idea early on either so maybe I have been looking for signs that would never arrive.

Don't know what DH will think if I am.
We are both wanting a family and agreed to TTC in June but he is out of work at the moment!

Hey roughtyping I've had it from DTD before and it was red.

If you're still concerned I'm sure your GP won't think its unnecessary to see them.

Thanks all. Seems to have gone. Got such a fright.

Just v scared something is 'wrong' with me. Had treatment for CIN3 after an abnormal smear 5 years ago, had a biopsy etc. can't remember exactly what the treatment was. Terrified it's not all ok.

If it makes you feel better I think we all think there's something wrong with us.

There's so many symptoms and signs to read into and everybody's so different with periods and cycle length etc, etc.

If you need reassurance then do go to your GP for some peace of mind.

Hi! In need of some advice :) me and my partner are eager to start a family (im 25,he's 28) so I had the implant removed 11 days ago. We haven't been using contraception from the day it was removed. But it's been 11 days now and I still haven't had a period yet! I have taken a pregnancy test but it has come back negative (and I was a bit too naive to think I could be that lucky so quick.) my periods haven't always been regular, but when I was on the pill they would always come 4 days after I stopped taking them. On the implant they were few and far between. Since it's removal I had a slight feeling that they were coming and had the absolutely tiniest of shows for a day then nothing since?

I'm new to mumsnet - been 'lurking' for a bit but this is my first post, hello!

I'm 23 and my husband is 29, been TTC#1 for 23 months now - we both want kids but I've got PCOS and PID so we didn't see any sense in waiting, young or not, when the odds are against us anyway. His analysis came back fine though so we're very lucky that we have that going for us.

I just got the Ovia app a few days ago and I find it a bit odd - I've only put the date of my last AF in and puts me at day 46 of my cycle and says I'm in a fertile window despite negative ov tests - how could it know with so little data? I'm a bit worried it's unreliable! Anybody else using it with irregular AFs? How do you find it?

Euch. Period has come. Assuming it's period. Horrible cramping. Had the leg pain I get when I'm bleeding last week so assumed it was coming. Guess that accounts for the blood! :(

On a positive note though this means maybe my cycle is getting shorter. First cycle was 144 days, then 49, then 50 and now 33. Fingers crossed.

Did your first long cycle play havoc with you?
I'm starting to read into everything my body does far too much wondering what's happening inside!

We hadn't properly started trying when I had my really long cycle. I keep thinking we've been trying since last sept but we haven't! I stopped the pill then, we started trying in April. Not long at all really. But yes I read far too much into every twinge and ache. It's infuriating!

I think we all go completely insane as soon as we start ttc.

I say I'm going to be casual but then I'm obsessively tracking everything on my ovia app and wondering what every twinge can be. I'm literally having light twinges at the moment and it's probably just wind! Wink Haha

It's hard trying to hide the crazy from DH so it's nice to be able to confess on here.

Yes buba, DH is super positive and understanding about everything. Beat myself up when I get my period and he is so calm about it all.

I'm a nightmare. In my head I'm already thinking of names. Planning fun ideas of how to tell DH and then the rest of the family etc.

I'm just so ready for no2 after a 6 year gap. Although it's scary thinking of doing it again.

However I'm so useless at names I think it will take me at least 2 years to find some I like!

Hi!
Need some advice - apologies for TMI but I'm confused. I checked my CM today and it came out with clear blobs of egg white but also with white mucus around too. Does anyone know what that means? Am I getting close to ovulation or have I already ovulated?

Sorry I should be clearer in saying I definitely had blobs of the clear stretchy egg white which was slightly cloudy but I also had white mucus as well?

Fab idea for a thread Tylastar! I'm TTC#1 age 27. Sometimes I feel is the world gonna think I'm too young but then I think it's right for me.

Think you're right MrsPotatoHead that no one is ever 'ready' and if you wait for a 'right time' you'll never do it so now is as good a time as any.

Nervous but so very excited. Attempting to not talk about it constantly with DH. Don't wanna piss him off, haha.

We're on cycle #1. Never had oral or internal contraception so we're just going for it but did start taking preconception vitamins last cycle and not planning to track anything for the first few months; simply DTD as often as poss. Here goes nothing.

Hi, wondering if anyone has advice. TTC #1 but only for 2 weeks after implant removal. Not had regular AF throughout implant and not had any since (apart from very light spotting). Last couple of days been having stomach cramps but not the same feeling as AF cramps. After the toilet today there was a large mass of discharge (sorry for tmi) thick and a bit dark..any ideas what this could be as getting a bit worried. Thanks

Hi! I'm also trying ttc #1 had my first real period since coming off the pill on July 28th unfortuantly cause it's my first I'm unsure how long the cycle is but have started bd since day 10 to see how we go. Noticed egwcm on Tuesday 19th but now back to white creamy lotion, so unsure if I ovulated and missed it? But we BD on the Tuesday and previously on the Sunday - so hopping we got in there!

AF due on 28th so going to wait to test until the 25th with first response.

Don't feel pregnant at all though and I did with DS. Might just be different this time but I'm sure I'm out.

I'm 27 and already have a girl and boy. Boy is 8 in 2 weeks and girl is 6 :)

We started trying around 2 years ago but had CP in December 2012 and it all went down hill from there, not even a glimmer of a pos so I gave up, it got too much with all the wishing away the months. so fast forward and we are now trying again, I'm so excited, I just hope it doesn't take too long. I'm so broody.

Forgot to mention I'm cd4 at the moment so will be ov'ing next week and testing around 6/8th sept x
