Anyone got pregnant with no.1 very quickly bit struggling with no.2?

Hello,

Was just wondering whether anybody has had a similar experience?

When trying for first child got pregnant the first month, however that ended in MC. Luckily I got pregnant again with DD after first month of trying again.

DD is now three, we would have started TTC sooner but I went back I Uni and I'm due to finish in November.

We have been trying for 5 months and no luck, worried that I've left it too late as I'm now 37.

Not much else to report here, my fertile window is not until next week so just twiddling my thumbs at the moment...

the first from our antenatal group is pregnant with DC2. Was an accident - not only were they not TTC, she was not even sure she wanted a second one, ever. How's that fair?

Ha ah, I like that article toast, I think everyone should stick to the rules!

Not fair at all hazle, but life can be a bitch. Some people just seem to get everything they want (or maybe don't in that case) without even having to try.

Hello all, I've not been on the thread for a while. Got my 21 day and 2-5 day blood results back and they're 'normal' apparently. Kicking myself for not asking for the exact results though.

Anyway if I don't get a bfp at the end of this month I'm probably out until the new year now for various reasons..hopefully 2015 will be a lucky year..

A friend has just found out she's accidentally pregnant with her 3rd, gah

So unfair people getting pregnant by accident when we're all trying so hard! A mate of my OH has announced that his gf is pg with their fourth they're just getting over the shock!! Obviously very fertile.

Oh those accidentals are annoying (almost as annoying as an unwanted AF, sorry newbie :-( ). I also have two friends with an 'accidental' third coming. Wtf??!! Accident??!! Haven't you worked out how you got the first two??!?

It's nearly time for me to start 2ww. I got my positive OPK on Wednesday so we DTD then & last night & hoping for tonight too just to make sure but that's if I can get OH in the mood. We've managed 2 nights on the trot as well as Sunday night which is good for him, but if we can just DTD tonight might be in with a better chance.

My colleague who got pg with her second as soon as she started trying has now announced it on FB along with her scan photo, I already knew but it just made it that bit worse & now others work know & I got asked if I was going to have baby number 2 as well. I should be really happy for her & it's not that I'm not happy for her but I'm just finding it so hard when we've been trying for so long now.

I've decided no symptom spotting just going to try my very best to focus on other things & NOT to check my boobs!!

Oh toast my best friend had both of hers by 'accident' & a friend I used to work with had all 4 of hers by 'accident'!

Sorry about the AFs. It's annoying isn't it - I know all the statistics and that there's no need to worry if it does not happen the first month you try, but still..

I'm just starting 2 week wait. We've managed to DTD 4 times in one week must be a record for us!

After last month of really thinking I was actually pregnant I'm just hoping that this finally is our month! I'm not going to look for symptoms just try & think of other things!

It would have to be something very out of the ordinary for me to think I'm PG this time. Not silly little things like feeling more tired than normal & early brown spotting! I've learnt my lesson.

Good luck to anyone else starting to 2ww and to anyone who got AF better luck next cycle

That's good news toast! I have my private scan on Thursday, hoping for a similar result.

Good luck with your 2ww bobsy, sounds like your DH stepped up to the plate this time!

Looks like I'm going to have another long cycle this month, CD14 and no sign of any ewcm or +opk so far...

He has made more of an effort this month & been a bit more understanding, I'm having a rough time with other peoples pregnancies silly I know!

My cycle seems a bit strange this time, I've had EWCM since Sunday positive OPK on Wednesday night and EWCM up to Saturday morning! My temperature only started to go up on Saturday and only slightly but I'm starting to think my thermometer may not be working well as had days of my temp being the same. My Fertility App hasn't put on confirmed Ovulation, it's still on predicted fertile days and predicted ovulation so I don't know what's going on there.

bobsy I'm on the TWW as well and I'm going to try really hard and not sympton spot either, I say that every month though and never quite manage it.

It is hard not to symptom spot I've already been prodding my boobs when I told myself I wouldn't! I had cold feet in bed last night & that's usually a sign that AF is due.

Ha ha seems like we are the same, I had achey boobs when I went down the stairs earlier and I started getting hopeful. Silly really but I can't help it Blush

Sore boobs to me means AF, but I did get sore boobs with DD1 so I suppose I'm expecting them to start hurting later on rather than just after ovulation & be more painful!

Yes means AF for me too. not till later on if I was pregnant. but I don't find I'm at my most rational whilst sympton spotting !!

AF got me late last night Sad on the plus side, it does mean my cycle's definitely back to being regular again after a very weird first half of the year. Will just have to try harder this month! Grin cycle 9, here goes...

I think my monitor has gone nuts, or possibly my body. Confused
As I complained before, I could not get the clearblue to work, would show random smiley faces at odd times and then just gave me error messages. Now the Persona monitor, that I used to conceive DS and that I started using again a few months ago, showed me red days only (high risk of pregnancy) last month and same so far this month. Normally it would show red days around OV only. Very annoying.
