The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Hello, a sort-of newbie here, in that I've been lurking for ages but only very occasionally commented on anything.

Stats: LazyRohazy, 32, TTC #2 since June 2013. One MMC (9wks) and one MC (6wks) in that time. I also had an MMC before my DD who was born Jan 2012.

We took a couple of cycles off after the most recent MC but now am back on the horse, so to speak. Ovulating today I think.

Bloody Facebook baby bombs though. One old uni friend is posting at least two bumps pics a week and moaning about being "fat" the rest of the time. Today I finally "hid" her.

Another friend due to give birth any day, and one more with a 3 mo. Babies bloody everywhere.

sebsmummy1 · 27/07/2014 09:13

I had a Facebook baby bomb yesterday. In fairness she was outed by someone, she hasn't mentioned it at all. She has 10 weeks to go so we fell pregnant around the same time. Made me feel sad and I cried a little bit, totally delighted for her though and she was the warmest, loveliest person ever and her husband is equally as lovely.

Well I'm 14 dpo, tested neg again this morn but showing no signs of AF. Will know by this evening if she is imminent. If she doesn't show then my body obviously tried to surge but didn't manage it, gawd knows when a period arrives under those circumstances.

Treaclepie19 · 27/07/2014 10:40

Hi all :)
sebs sorry it's a bfn :( keeping my fingers crossed still.

Looks like I haven't/won't ovulate this month.
Going back to the doctors tomorrow with this thrush although it h's improved. 9 days til af is due then ill be trying for September's bfp.
Very annoying. I should've been heading to the third trimester not ttc.

I'm already dreading the due date for my MMC (October 17th). For some reason I feel like it will be worse if I'm not pregnant again by then.

Jetpackplease · 27/07/2014 11:54

Totally agree Lazy - my edd was 24th Sep. Only this cycle and next before it's too late for me to be upduffed before the EDD rears its head. I think I've accepted now that it won't happen by then, though up until recently I've been obsessed by the idea. I'll actually be glad when it's passed as it's been like carrying round some kind of 'ghost' pregnancy, constantly thinking about where I should have been and looking at every pg woman I see, comparing her bump to the one I should have had at any given stage. I want to be out of the shadow of this pregnancy.

Treacle, hope you feel better soon. X

Treaclepie19 · 27/07/2014 12:08

Thank you jetpack.
I know what you mean. I'm constantly comparing myself too and thinking what would've been.

hi lovely ladies,

Sorry for the bfn Sebs.

Welcome to all the newbies. Sorry for your losses, but we're all here for you, to offer support, help and a fish slap if required.

I'd have been 5 weeks away from having baby #1, i've got two friends due at that time and jesus its hard. Everytime I look at them I think that i should be big and fat like them!

I'm off to celebrate a friends birthday today and going to meet my best friends 4 day old little boy, can't wait for a squidge!

Hi girls, looking for advice, had a natural misc 25thjune at 7weeks, thought i was now out of the WTF cycle, af arrived fri exactly 30days after misc, only its been brown old yucky stuff since yest sorry!! Friday nite was red blood and thought, great to get af as i can get back to ttc asap, since yest more brown staining not enough for a tampon, just wearing a liner!! Always had a reg 26day cycle pre misc an af would last 3/4 days of red bleeding, now am sorta wondering am i still in WTF or what???

LazyRohazy · 27/07/2014 19:02

lola My first AF after most recent mc was weird. I had brown stuff - red stuff - brown stuff, and it lasted about 6 days, when I'm normally a 3-4 day girl. Bloody hurt too.

But then my next one was totally "normal", so it might just be that this one will be weird and the next one will be a bit more recognisable?

Sorry for your loss.

My first AF after first mc was very much just brown sludge, lasting about 3/4 days and then subsequent ones were much lighter than they had been pre-mc. Currently waiting arrival of first AF after second mc or hopefully a BFP!

Tori, I agree with Hopeful, start as soon as you feel ready. Having not exercised throughout the time I was pregnant I was desperate to try to get some fitness back and got straight back in the gym after my erpc.

lola60 · 27/07/2014 19:56

Thanx for the advice girls reassuring to know that this is normalish!! Hopefully we will all get BFPs soon x

sebsmummy1 · 27/07/2014 22:08

So 15dpo tomorrow, AF wont be arriving tomorrow as I can always tell the night before by checking with a cotton bud. Cervix is closed and high. I am starting to think it might turn into another chemical down the line and that put me out of the running for two cycles. Alternatively my opk was wrong and I'm not 14dpo at all. I would far rather the latter as at least I can carry on TTC.

EnglishGirlsReturned · 27/07/2014 22:42

Fx crossed for you Sebs, really hope it's good news for you. AF hasn't arrived yet so there's still a chance

sebsmummy1 · 27/07/2014 22:46

English didn't you have a few cycles where you didn't ovulate or ovulated later and they were longer? I'm sure I can remember having a few conversations about it.

If this cycle was annovulatory online posts are saying it could end up 60 days long before AF arrives. That would be depressing.

EnglishGirlsReturned · 27/07/2014 22:53

I had an anovulatory cycle the one before my last BFP, it was 42 days. I'm going to blame the reflexology I had on that and hope that it doesn't become a regular occurrence. Hope yours isn't anovulatory and you just ovulated later than you thought.

sebsmummy1 · 27/07/2014 22:56

I think that's the likely explanation as I had zero EWCM. Well plus side will be a blood free spa day lol, hopefully I won't have to wait too long for her to show. Thank you xx

LazyRohazy · 28/07/2014 07:00

I'm now a bit worried I'm not ovulating this cycle. Had + OPKs Saturday and Sunday, and some ewcm although not as much as usual. Then this morning my BBT has dipped when I really need it to go up to confirm ovulation! Does this sound like my body's tried to surge but failed?

Hope it's good news for you sebsmummy.
