Hello, can I join? I am a bit scared of the other threads with all of their mysterious jargon.

We hope to start shagging with intent (isn't that a much better phrase than TTC?) soon, but are waiting on some tests for DH. Both feeling quite impatient about the whole thing. I've stopped taking pills because they ran out and I couldn't be arsed to get more and currently awaiting first period following this. Actually had a burst condom the other day DH is riding on me not being pregnant though because, in his words, "That would be kind of disappointing"

Oh and I have a 5 year old from a previous relationship but he was sort of a not quite accident, so I have never done the TTC thing before.

Sorry about your loss purple, agree with the others - it's mainly about dating that they say to wait. Being ready emotionally is important and don't expect things to be normal. If just started first cycle since MMC and it's not the same experience as before at all.

Ages ago I booked a visit to a spa day and it just so happens to be this Friday, right in the middle of my fertile time, grrr stupid wonky cycles messed up my planning! I'm worried that the heat from the spa rooms will a) kill off all the soldiers and b) affect potential cell division/implantation etc. I'm going with dh's cousin I don't want to cancel and let her down.
So, me and dh talked about it the other day and have decided to take this month off trying. Bit annoying but also strangely feeling quite relieved to have a month off and JSing just for fun

Stats? What kind of stats? I don't really know what I'm doing. I feel a bit daunted to be on a thread like this. And two miscarriages in a row is massively rare, most ladies go on to have normal healthy pregs after an mc. Did you have any time off work in the end? I worked at home today. It's hit me like a ton of bricks tonight. I'm not working tomorrow, gonna take some time off and get myself back together. Text my boss and said I'm not ready to face customers yet. I was panicking about getting back on the motorway too. I'm going to have a duvet day tomorrow and then see how I feel
