I got the fertility monitor because after 12 months don't want to see the gp yet and just want to see if something is happening. If I charted myself and worked it out myself it'll take too much time up for me. Paying for the monitor will take up less time so hopefully won't drive me mad about it!

Have you already bought one Lady? I've got one that potentially needs a new home, only used for one month

ER Doc said wait til I've had a period before TTC again. I read that's just for dating a pregnancy and not necessary. Anyone know?

I don't think it's necessary purple under normal circumstances. I think after ectopic and molar pgs you have to wait and in some situations where they know cause of mc, but in general you can try straight away and there is some thinking you are more fertile in the month after. I found it helpful to try straight away to keep from focussing on the mc.

It's only for dating purple. In some cases you have to be careful in case you need d&c but if you've already been scanned etc then go for it. Like wil, I found it much easier to focus on TTC asap. But I have found my body has taken a while to return to normal play so don't expect too much of yourself. Enjoy the JSing xx

Just to echo what the others say, there's no need to wait following a 'straightforward' mc. I was told to wait until I'd had a negative test, but that was because I wasn't scanned. Like the others I felt it helped get over the mc to focus on JSing again, though it took a little while for my body to catch up with my intentions!
