The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 12+ months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot and definitely no mention of baby dust or baby dancing).
Those not abiding by the rules may be escorted from the premises.

Crossing absolutely everything I have available for you Batking I really do hope this is nothing. Are you still using the bum bullets to help progesterone levels?

RP sincerely hope this is nothing and just your body adjusting to being pregs.

Bushy good luck for your scan.

Chloe definitely ring your normal doctor like you say he knows your history and will know what is best for you.

Has anyone else got appointments today?

FeatherFeather11 · 02/06/2014 09:28

Xpost barking - hang in there. So upset you're going through this. So unfair. Hope it all works out ok and this is just a blip. xx

nolly3 · 02/06/2014 09:50

christ on a bike. turn your back for 5 minutes!

congrats barkingand I really hope you have good news today.

HB great news that they managed to fit you in. hopefully you'll get some answers.

bushy fingers crossed so tightly for your scan today.

lumen sorry to hear about your stress, it sounds awful and very distressing on it's own right. I can't remember who said what about acu now (feather and rosie??) but I have to say it's one of the most relaxing things I've ever done and would recommend it on the grounds that it definetly improves the quality of one's life.

pip you are my new hero. i love a good citation! multivits are a bugbear of mine anyway - so expensive and basically everything over 100% RDA is excreted, so if you have a reasonable diet you shouldn't need them.

chloe glad you're in a bit less discomfort. Sounds like you had a good time at the clinic.

plane flying rain! so rad! sounds awesome.

rp your in laws sound so sensitive. what a big help. I have to admit i do some gusset checking too - obviously will always be known as wazinga checking.

I had a weekend at the in laws too - they're nice, but not particularly sensitive (sample comment "you shouldn't leave it too late you know"). we were out at a concert on saturday night and i spent most of it having horrendous cramps, then sunday most of it trying not to burst into tears (futility of TTC, LP shortened by 4 days, sad for oh etc etc). Just feeling very resigned and hopeless at the moment. And I can't tell if that's good or not - hoping is very difficult and painful after all.

anyway. love to all pg berries and best of luck for the day.

nolly3 · 02/06/2014 09:51

x post everyone.

Best of luck barking…. Hang in there

beakybeak · 02/06/2014 10:00

Nolly sorry AF got you, sounds awfully painful too. I think it's best to allow yourself the mope and to just feel how you do (trying not to be too woo there but picturing self swaying in the tropical breeze!) - for a short while at least! But it's inevitable really. It's such a fucking hard thing to do. Maybe one of the most difficult things I've done?! Hope you feel better soon. Jesus "you" just autocorrected to "iui"! No escape.

nolly3 · 02/06/2014 10:35

beaky knew I forgot someone! wise woo words. thank you Thanks

particularly bad this.month because of shortened lp (which means will probably miss shag week window) and incessant in law chat about darling grandsons latest achievements eg sitting down. oh,mope, mope!!! never mind, busy week at work to take.mind off. Yay.

chloechloe · 02/06/2014 12:30

Sorry the witch got you nolly and that your PIL aren't helping. They sound just like mine, nice but totally thoughtless and insensitive. Sample comments of MIL - "X's baby is so funny looking because they had to take so much junk to get pregnant"; "I don't want to be an old grandma but it looks like DS is firing blanks" (Er yes he is and is it any wonder we haven't told you...)

My lovely dr just gave me a call even though he isn't supposed to be working today. Fitting in the FET is a bit complicated as I'll be flying 4-5 times between now and mid August. I don't want to delay it but am getting a bit stressed just thinking about how to fit it in and also maybe getting critical news (whether they've defrosted ok etc) whilst I'm away.

Anyway he was really sweet and talked me through all the options. We decided I shouldn't take any meds when I get my period (contrary to what the other dr said) but just go for an US after my holiday when I'll be around CD25. He said with my messed up cycles nothing is likely to have happened by then so I can start on estradiol to prep for the FET. Feeling much more comfortable that I can switch off yeah right for a few weeks without having to take any meds.

barkingtreefrog · 02/06/2014 13:38

Not good. They'd expect over 100 by now and it's 62. She said they have seen miracles so don't give up hope. They wanted me back in for a test to see if it's gone up enough on Weds but I'll still be away. Tempted to go home Sad .

beakybeak · 02/06/2014 13:44

Sorry to hear that Barking maybe you just implanted late? I hope it does work out for you. If you need to go home make sure you do, it's important to look after yourself. Hugs and Thanks still crossing everything.

Chloe good news you managed to speak to your usual dr and it sounds quite positive for you. Can you fit everything in around your travelling?

My 3rd AF this cycle seems to be tailing off now thankfully. Hopefully I won't have this weird situation again!

winohhh · 02/06/2014 13:57

Go home barking. Please don't stay just because you feel you should. You need to put yourself first. They'd have to cope if you had food poisoning or something. So sorry you're going through this. How shit. It never ends does it. As they said, don't give up hope yet, but look after yourself.

nolly3 · 02/06/2014 13:57

sorry to hear you're having such a stressful time barking. look after yourself

beaky are you asking your FC about it? sorry if you said earlier, I missed a lot over last few days

thanks chloe. sounds like you're being looked after really well.

have you all seen kirst f*cking allsop sounding off again? why should she have her ill-informed opinions published all.over?! she's SO IGNORANT. births in the over 35s are lower now than they were 150 years ago. grr stupid woman

winohhh · 02/06/2014 14:26

Also barking, as far as I know, the actual number is less important than it doubling every couple of days...

FeatherFeather11 · 02/06/2014 14:27

barking sounds like you should definitely go home and be monitored properly. Your health is more important than work. So sorry you're having to go through this.

Sneaking on at work for news. Will write properly later xx

lumen · 02/06/2014 14:38

Big hugs batking, we are all rooting for you and your little batlet xxx

chloechloe · 02/06/2014 14:43

barking go home and take it easy. It's just a job at the end of the day and your health is more important. Like the nurse said, don't give up hope, it could still work out.

beaky not sure if I'll fit everything in round travelling, will just have to cross my fingers and hope for the best.

barkingtreefrog · 02/06/2014 14:55

It's not the job, it's wanting to keep busy. I called the nurse back and she said there was no reason to go home unless I wasn't coping emotionally, it wouldn't make any difference. I'm thinking I might call DH and see if he'll come and pick me up tomorrow night, then I can go in for the test on Wednesday morning.

OP posts:
WildflowerMarmalade · 02/06/2014 15:26

Getting DH to collect you tomorrow sounds like a good plan Barking - if you really think that staying there won't affect your health and batlet. If you'll be happier keeping busy then do it. But only stay on if it is right for you, don't stay simply for the sake of the job.

I'm so sorry to hear you're having a difficult time. Rooting for you.

After popping on to the last thread I got caught up with relatives visiting from abroad. Then we went on hols ourselves. I haven't been around this way since and so I've just been catching up on everybody's news. So much positive news and congrats to those with their BFPs. It's cheering to see.

lumen · 02/06/2014 16:49

bushy how did your scan go?

FeatherFeather11 · 02/06/2014 17:25

Hope everything ok bushy

hb hope your appointment went well too.

Just called the FC to let them know about the twinging on the left side and they said it's too early to scan and that it's a waiting game. They also said that it's probably the corpus luteum. I so hope it is. I can't stop panicking.

nolly3 · 02/06/2014 17:40

I'd be the same feather - Plus you have wedding stress! it's so common to have twinges. only a few days til scan now.

RevoltingPeasant · 02/06/2014 18:26

Feather I have not been what you have been through but I am really scared of mc. I keep having constant mild cramping after any exertion - skipped aerobics today - and keep thinking the additional juiciness is bleeding. Fx this works out for you. The stats are on both our sides.

Bushy....?

Batking just take care of yourself. Could be late implantation like someone said. I'd go home and put my feet up personally but you will have your own way of dealing Flowers

BlindKitty · 02/06/2014 19:21

barking still offering that hand to hold

bushy how'd it go?

funkymonk · 02/06/2014 19:28

Just bobbing in to say Barking I really hope this isn't what you're worrying it is. My gp advised me when I was bleeding to go home and lie in bed. He said he didn't even mean to take it easy, he wanted me to just lie in bed and do nothing. He said it was unlikely to make much difference if the process of mc had already started but psychologically I would know I had done all I could. I think you should go home. Being away won't be a distraction. It'll be constantly on your kind wherever you are. How is it now? Still coming?

Bushy are you ok?

Feather, one day at a time. Today you are pregnant.

Will call back in later to catch up on the rest of the news.

FeatherFeather11 · 02/06/2014 20:22

Thanks rp and funky - point taken. Flowers you're both right.

bushy hope all went ok today

barking sending you Berrie power x 1million

Hope everyone else is ok. happy forgot to tell you - dreamt I was at your wedding last night! Didn't see you, but knew it was your do! Weird!

FeatherFeather11 · 02/06/2014 20:23

And thanks nolly too! xx
