The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 12+ months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot and definitely no mention of baby dust or baby dancing).
Those not abiding by the rules may be escorted from the premises.

batking no idea on your questions sorry, ring your gp/FC if concerned rather than stressing yourself.

Good news from your acupuncture person. I saw my reflexologist last night who said my ovaries felt like they were responding well! We will see if she is right on next dildocam (very concerned I will call it that at some point when at FC).

Am really tired this afternoon, not sure if it is stimming, hayfever or both together? Have had to resort to a mars bar to keep awake in work Wink

barkingtreefrog · 13/06/2014 15:45

lumen I'll speak to the clinic if there's any reason to on Thursday, can't imagine it would be anything to think about yet, just having a crazy moment...

I really struggle not to say dildocam!! And when speaking to any HCP I have to remember to use proper words ie not 'AF', and even with abbreviations I don't hear as letters in my head (ttc, otd, pimp, poas etc) I have to stop and think!!

I had hypnosis this morning in an attempt to battle the hayfever. About to spend a weekend camping.....
Speaking of which, need to get work done then pack before DH gets home.

No idea batking but when I had an ERPC at 9 weeks for my mmc I had to have the antibody injection as they tested my blood and I'm O-

sparechange · 13/06/2014 16:03

beaky
Sorry, I've been dropping in and out of these threads for so long that most people won't have the first clue who I am!

Ex and I were trying way back when, which culminated with us going on the waiting list for IVF, but his reaction to the whole thing was the nail in the coffin for us and we split.

DH and I have been trying for 19 months and had our 2nd FC appt yesterday, where they went back through every single thing in both of our histories, including the tests I had with ex.

We've decided to go privately to avoid any more waiting, so as long as we find enough pennies down the back of the sofa, I'll start stabbing mid-August

CatsCantFlyFast · 13/06/2014 16:15

Barking I'm ORh- too. I already had the antibodies this pregnancy due to prev chemical pregnancies I think. They didn't do anything differently that I'm aware of but will go and read the leaflet I have and check. But either way don't think it matters so early (because no shared blood supply until the placenta is established perhaps); they don't take your blood to test your blood type (as they don't believe what you tell them!) until booking which is 11ish weeks here

CatsCantFlyFast · 13/06/2014 16:20

Barking the risk to an unborn baby that develops rhesus disease is anaemia, which can be detected by a scan. So no need to worry this early on

sparechange · 13/06/2014 16:21

On a related note, is anyone else getting the ClearBlue ad at the right of the screen about how 89% of couples conceived in 2 months using their crappy monitor.
Fuck OFF Clearblue! Or know your audience!

barkingtreefrog · 13/06/2014 16:29

merkin, just read this which basically says the same - I could be sensitised already due to the mc, but it won't be a problem until there is a placenta, and they'll have jabbed me by then.

spare, yep, get that all the time. That's why I prefer the app - no adverts!! I do get riled at all the mother and baby ads, then remember it is called mumsnet so I guess I should wind my neck in...

Feather ..... Told you so Wink

FeatherFeather11 · 13/06/2014 17:17

RP you did! You're my oracle! And the pied piper who lead me to the Berries nearly a year ago now! beaky you called it too!

rp how are you feeling today?

barking I ACTUALLY called it dildocam today. In the room. With the fc nurse and OH there. Neither of them flinched! Hmm. Great news on acu lady being pleased with your piles. Mine said that if I start bleeding or anything to give her a call no matter what time - she said that she's had clients be told by their epu that it's not good and she's managed to bring it back from the brink. I believe her.
Also, My hayfever is so bad at the moment. She made me some tea to bring home which I was dubious about (bag of leaves for a tenner - geez!) that I have to brew in a caffitierre. I've had two cups and it seems to be working! Pm me your address if you want me you post you some to try?

tigerdog · 13/06/2014 17:17

We are definitely riding the wave of good news on this thread, lets hope it continues!

spare, yes! I think the same thing every bloody time too.

beaky I am much better thanks, pretty much fully recovered and back to normal. I did not expect to feel as rough as I did for the first couple of days! How are you?

lumen I couldn't remember what a dildocam should actually be called this morning! Fingers crossed for your next one. How do you find reflexology? I'm not keen on anyone touching my feet, and I have a terrible involuntary reaction when anyone does, so would worry about kicking the reflexologist in the head by accident!

barking hope you have a lovely birthday weekend camping.

I have generally been stressing myself out today. I have the job interview on Tuesday and it is no small undertaking - a whole day of tests and interviews and presentations. I'm still agonising over whether sacrificing the work /ife balance is good idea, even if it is for a more interesting job. If I knew I was going to be pg within a few months, I'd stay and make the the most of my current role, but if we are talking years until we have our baby, then I'm not sure it would be enough for me in the interim.

Anyway, hope you all have lovely weeknds!

FeatherFeather11 · 13/06/2014 17:18

PULSE! NOT PILES!!!! Blush Blush Blush

chloechloe · 13/06/2014 17:50

Yay feather amazing news, I feel like doing a little celebratory dance (though I did wonder about the piles...)

Have fun camping barking

lumen I used to keep the skin pinched, but leave the needle in for 10 seconds to make sure everything had gone in and it seemed to work well. Have you got the pen or do you need to mix it up yourself?

Hey spare do you know what protocol you'll be on?

tiger Good luck with your your interview - I've been through similar recruitment days and know how stressful and tiring they are. Personally I think you need to put the TTC out of the equation. Unfortunately none of us know if/when it's going to happen and you could end up putting your life on hold. Not saying that necessarily means going for the new job, but weighing them both up rather than basing a decision on something you have no control over.

So I am officially mental. Just saw a girl who used to commute to uni on my train every day but then suddenly disappeared. Looking pale and knackered with a new born. Couldn't help mentally cursing her for being an accidiffer, even though I don't even know her and am totally speculating...

Anyway, happy weekend everyone!

RevoltingPeasant · 13/06/2014 17:54

It's okay, Feather. You don't need to be ashamed about your swollen bumveins.

FeatherFeather11 · 13/06/2014 18:01

rp Bumballoons R' Us Grin

Bunnygirlie · 13/06/2014 19:03

Oh feather I'm so chuffed for you!!!! Yay another one for the chopper (when you are ready! Any questions just pop on over Grin)

Who is next? Is win ok?

nolly3 · 13/06/2014 19:09

fab fab news feather!!! begone, foul fertility stress fairy!

RevoltingPeasant · 13/06/2014 20:09

Eurgh I have just been googling blighted ovum, which is what the GP said she thought it was. It matches my symptoms :(

FeatherFeather11 · 13/06/2014 20:28

rp step away from dr google. It never leads to good. Everyone is different and nothing is certain yet. Sending you a big hug Flowers

tigerdog · 13/06/2014 20:36

rp I agree with feather please don't torture yourself with google. It's impossible to tell - the bleeding could be something or nothing at all. Giving you a big squeeze x

Bunnygirlie · 13/06/2014 20:38

RP hugs! Berry power heading your way!

greatbigbushybeard · 13/06/2014 20:44

Ha ha, love the bum humour feather and rp but actually it's barking's lumpy bum veins that the acu lady said were good!!Wink

beaky got v confused when you said you liked a man with good arms and a full sleeve. Thought my she's fussy, likes a man in long sleeved shirts!! Think you mean you like tattoos?

tiger glad you're feeling better. I think chloe has put it really well and agree with trying to evaluate the jobs with what would make you happy. Imagine it was you before any of this ttc business, what would you go for. I remember putting off getting a qualification because of too much on my plate and thinking I may be busy with a baby- fat chance!!

Laughed my ass off at feather actually saying dildocam at the staff and them not batting an eyelid!! I bet they think it's what it is too!!you never know, they might have had ttc problems and been on a forum like this calling it that!!

I was tired when stimming too lumen I think having all of those extra hormones and the mental side of it too is v tiring.

The clearblue advert is annoying spare. I'm in the 11% it clearly doesn't work for!!

greatbigbushybeard · 13/06/2014 20:55

rp I agree! stay away from goggle! it'll just tell you shit you don't need to know. I googled after big bleed and weird chicken skin blob because one of you ladies said it might have been a residual cast. Looked that up found one or two ok things then a shit load of stuff to send me into a worry spiral. Half the time there just doesn't seem to be any answers in this so best not to get too worked up and wait for the experts to tell you.

RevoltingPeasant · 13/06/2014 21:10

That was me bushy, decidual cast...... Just a random thought so hope it didn't make you worry.

RosieintheAlps · 13/06/2014 21:20

Yay, feather. Great news!

RP, I second others' advice. Step away from Dr Google. It's unfortunate that we cannot have a little spycam in our bodies at all times. So please be kind to yourself, this is a stressful time but it will pass. You will get through this because you are strong and we're all here to support you.

Tiger, I agree, try to evaluate the job for you not a potential tiger cub. Easier said then done, didn't heed that advice when I was in a meeting with the boss this week and he kept talking about my role next year with me thinking I'll be looking after a baby then.

More berrylicious loving kindness from me. Insane happiness still hanging on despite arrival of AF. So am sending all the posifrickentivity (read this ages ago on another thread, I am not that creative with English) there is. Batking, hope you're getting an extra dose of this, as you so kindly asked Wink and it's your birthday weekend. Make it last as long as possible. Flowers
