The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 12+ months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot and definitely no mention of baby dust or baby dancing).
Those not abiding by the rules may be escorted from the premises.

And I think we should probably all do that. Yay the Berries!

(ok I will stop posting now, promise) Smile

tigerdog · 11/06/2014 19:32

What is about working in railway ticketing that attracts such total jobsworth feckers?! Sorry you are having to go through this all rp x

In the spirit of oversharing, I went for a walk this evening, which was quite hard work actually as I am still a bit sore, but now I am in agony from what I think is trapped wind/gas from the op Blush I am like a balloon and the pain is everywhere!

tigerdog · 11/06/2014 19:37

X post rosie - yay to you indeed!

funkymonk · 11/06/2014 19:55

Yay Rosie! And thanks for the dazzling smile!

RP- How are you holding up?

Tiger- are you feeling a bit better now. Would a bath help? Hot water bottle? Wine

Otters glad to see you back. Not long until your big day! Who will be first then, you or Happy? I hope that at the fc next week you get some satisfactory answers and a plan in place that isn't going to go on and on and on.

Yikes Bushy at your Dropbox incident! I hope he didn't actually see them and was trying to cover it up in a nice way! For some reason that's reminded me of being 18 in student halls and my bloody period knickers getting stuck against the washing machine glass in the shared kitchen for good 10 mins or so while the washer had a little blip. I was ready to pack my bags and leave!

Beaky pleased that you made up with DH so you could get some action in. These days cannot be missed!

Hi Spare! Welcome back! Do hang around!

Lumen grrrr at your colleague. I've just seen on facebook someones pregnancy announcement. They only got married in January so a definite instadiff. Makes me maaaaaaad!

Anyone seen Rain recently?

lumen · 11/06/2014 20:05

First injection completed, thanks for all the berry vibes Grin

I got in quite a zen like state beforehand and took it all quite calmly. Only 10 more times hopefully!

TheRainDrops · 11/06/2014 20:58

rp I wish I could give you a real hug. I totally understand the need to not hope, to self-protect, but let us hope for you. As lots of others have said, bleeding can be ok. Be kind to yourself this weekend.

bushy my stomach dropped just reading your photo story. I had a similar moment but with a....er..... personal photo (yes, I am a perv) where I texted it to my DAD instead of MrP. Thankfully at the time my Dad still had a brick of a phone so couldn't see it!!

tiger glad you got good results although that can be equally frustrating, and sorry to hear you felt so shit afterwards. Glad you're feeling a bit better now. Self-medicating Ben & Jerry's always helps!

lumen happy stabbing! If we ever get to that I know I'm going to be a total wuss about it.

beaky I've missed a few shag nights this month due to being in a grump. Stupid EDD. I think we managed 4 times over a week, but started really late this month so I think it's probably a write off (who am I kidding, of course it is, just like every other bloody month!). Glad you got yours in tho! I've done it still angry after a row once or twice, you just have to choose a bad mood friendly position! Grin

otters I've not heard of that as an option before monitoring will be good but are you satisfied? Can't believe it's only 6 weeks till your wedding!

serenity big step today! how're you feeling about the options they presented?

wildflower not the happiest example, but I got my BFP (18 months in) on my 3rd cycle after HyCoSy. Sadly 'twas not meant to be...

spare are you going to hang about for a bit? The thread is so busy at the moment! Nice to see you regardless Smile

rosie {{{{hug}}}} that's just cos you're so Berrylicious. You totally would've rocked that reunion, but you're too cool for (old)school now. Sorry for bfn but if it was 12dpo I am still going to say POAS again if no AF by the weekend....

TheRainDrops · 11/06/2014 21:00

to funky!! I am totally snowed at work just now so not able to check in as often as I'd like but I am reading!

lumen · 11/06/2014 21:18

Ha ha rain, thank god for parents and their antiquated mobiles Wink. Thanks for making me laugh.

Keep at it everyone in shag week Grin

happylass · 11/06/2014 21:43

Evening all. RP so sorry you're still in limbo. Another hand to hold here. I would totally complain about the train guy - soooo out of order.
Great to see you sparechange! You'd better get reading as you've missed about 5 threads! Wink
Must be something in the air in Berry HQ. I too cut shag week short this month as DP was being a total arse. I'm pretty sure I'd already OVd but the plan was to carry on for a few more days. Couldn't even look at him though he'd peed me off so much!
Well done on the first injection Lumen.
Hi to everyone else. Sorry if I've missed anything. I'm rubbish at remembering what I've read. By the time I come to type it's all gone out of my head!
Another pg announcement in work today. Bump count is now 4. Pleeeeeeease let me be number 5 Sad

RevoltingPeasant · 11/06/2014 21:48

I have now self-medicated too.... With fish n chips #fatbastard

Tiger are you okay? That doesn't sound good. Honestly if I were you I'd try some peppermint tea if it feels digestive but if not ring NHS direct?

Barking, feather, bushy, when are your scans again?

Rosie yes poas in a day or two!

The more I think about going to see the OOH dr last night the more darkly funny it was. He was so odd. He didn't tell me what the oxygen saturation test was, just started on about how he was a smoker and never got such a good result and I should be proud of myself. Almost everything he said was in this deep whisper.

Also the two porters manning reception were absolutely shocking. Quite rude when I came in, spent the whole time talking to each other about their favourite fast food, called the wrong person by mistake at one point, so, they had to be sent back when they were having trouble walking, and called the GP 'Apu' behind his back ( he was Indian) Shock. They were not what you wanted at midnight when you were in pain or worried.....just comically inappropriate.

barkingtreefrog · 11/06/2014 22:05

Bloody hell happy that's a bit much. You'll be number 5. Just slip the pill into the dinner of every other female in the place to make absolutely sure Wink .

funky definitely an instadiffer? I only got married in March but I've been ttc 2.5 years!!! Not saying she's not,I'd just hate anyone to be Envy of me because they didn't know my story unlikely with my record for oversharing

rp when you're feeling a little stronger I'd definitely put in a complaint. He didn't need to know, it was irrelevant Angry .

rain close call!!

lumen well done Smile

Tiger, my secret weapon against all tummy related pains is fennel tea.

barkingtreefrog · 11/06/2014 22:10

Rosie care to share some of this obscene happiness? Wink

barkingtreefrog · 11/06/2014 22:12

x post rp. My scan is next Thursday, still over a week to wait. I told my best mate what was happening tonight, and how I was dreading seeing the same thing on the scan as last time. She suggested I just didn't go Hmm .

OP posts:
beakybeak · 11/06/2014 22:24

Lumen good work with the first injection!

Bushy good luck for your scan tomorrow fx all is exactly what it should be.

Hi spare

RP that train person is shocking, sorry you're having such a hard time and what a bizarre scenario you have faced at the late night drs! Jel of your fish & chips though!

Rosie go you Grin also poas again tomorrow?!

tiger is there anything you can take to help?

Funky and Rain oh my god!! Totally cringed but laughed, sorry! Rain 4 times is still enough.. Am going to think about angry positions for next time!

Happy sounds like you've still done enough. Men are so annoying sometimes eh. Sorry you've had another announcement. That's tons at your work Sad

Err Batking what?? What a strange thing for your friend to say. Least you know we are here and rooting for you. What was your q to the experts if you don't mind me asking?

beakybeak · 11/06/2014 22:27

Oh my god. Dh has just told me his friend told him memory foam mattresses can cause infertility. What the actual fuck!

RevoltingPeasant · 11/06/2014 22:34

Batking helpful friend, eh.

What now about memory foam?! We have one! Hell!

funkymonk · 11/06/2014 22:36

Memory foam?! Jeez. We have memory foam too!

RP are you sill bleeding?

Yes Batking, she is defo instadiffer. She is quite religious and I know the rest of her family and a baby out of wedlock would be quite the taboo for them.

beakybeak · 11/06/2014 22:39

My mattress panic has lead me to an article entitled "15 household objects which make you infertile"

happylass · 11/06/2014 22:53

We have memory foam too Shock

greatbigbushybeard · 11/06/2014 23:01

Er no I don't think so beaky but our male friend did say shagging on them was difficult as you couldn't get purchase!!

omg rain thank god for dads and old phones!! And funky loved the story about your period knickers!!! Poor you. And yes it made my bloody stomach drop. He hasn't been weird with me since but is a nice bloke so prob be discreet anyway.

rp what is an OOH doctor? All sounds a bit weird. I really hope he's wrong and little Dino is fine. It made my heart drop a bit to read what he'd said, bit close to home for me. Scan tomorrow, both feeling sick, apprehensive, worried etc but trying hard not to fixate on it, just really glad we'll know. Really, really want some clarity. Bit worried about the result as we both have to go to work after.

rosie go girl!

Grr to instadiffer work colleagues, had a baby visit today, sounds terrible to say it but wasn't too bad. I held it but tbh I'm, gulp, quite shit with babies!! Always end up getting a really dead arm and never quite know the right way to hold them, others seem really natural. Still, hopefully when my time comes I'll get the hang of it!!

greatbigbushybeard · 11/06/2014 23:04

So beaky what else should we be chucking out? Guys I'm sure it's not your memory foam mattresses.

beakybeak · 11/06/2014 23:16

It's apparently to do with toxins. I'm so sick of these stupid old wives tales!

barkingtreefrog · 11/06/2014 23:52

funky ok, I'll let you have that one then Wink .

beaky step away from google!! I asked the Q&A if there was any evidence that a wheat free diet would balance hormones and give a more even cycle. Ditto for acupuncture.

bushy OOH I'm assuming is out of hours? Good luck for tomorrow, I'll be checking on my phone at break times so keep us updated if you can Thanks . Everything is crossed for you.
