Hi, I'm not sure if theres already a thread for those hoping for a +ive October. I'm on the +ive Sept one but my fertile window for this month has just passed without being able to try (got to get blood sugars stable before we can try) so next chance to try will be towards end of September (32ish cycle), which means I won't be in a position to test til October. If theres already an October thread please point me in that direction, if not, here we go!

So sorry DD1 - Am sure the break will do you a whole heap of good - we'll look forward to seeing you back sometime.

Sorry for the recent AF Endless - You're not back to square one though - just think that every month you learn something new about your body - at least thats where I am as my knowledge of this stuff was embarassingly low!

Lovelybird - Sounds like you are in the same boat as me - I'm getting a nice new thermometer over the next few days and will be reading my borrowed copy of Toni's book.

rubyroo - Massive heaps of good luck to you for tomorrow's testing!

Good to see you back Babymad!

BTW, the web site for buying stuff is access diagnostics - I've not used it yet but will be buying my pre-seed soon.

As for me, I'm expecting AF on Friday but getting some feint rumblings already so it may be early. I've no real hope of a BPF as OPK told me I didn't OV, but there's always next month eh

rubyroo · 04/10/2006 07:00

ok so couldn't sleep all night got up at 5 and got a BFP!!!!! had to keep checking to believe it i know that although it is i need to check again next week but still v excited. if i can manage this with dicky cycle no ovulation for months on end then there is hope honest. hugs to all who are still waiting i will be looking for your posts and big thankyou to those who posted when i was feeling hopeless. up til this morning i was sure my af was about to start and every time i went to the toilet was convinced i would see it. have no pregnancy symptoms except insomnia

rubyroo · 04/10/2006 07:07

um just wanted to add it took till 16dpo to get this had 3 bfn before and especial thanks to rachelrose, rubles and MrsMcJnr for lifting my spirits if theres anything i can do to reciprocate let me know ok i'll shut up now i know i'm babbling!

Natty1806 · 04/10/2006 08:30

rubyroo · 04/10/2006 08:46

natty it was 31 i thought that might be too low for a pregnancy as someone had posted 60 who was pregnant but apparently not! let me know how you get on with yoursxx

trace2 · 04/10/2006 08:48

How early did you test Trace?

Babymad4num3 · 04/10/2006 09:08

Congratulations rubyroo! Well done chick!

trace2 · 04/10/2006 09:12

on 10dpo

Natty1806 · 04/10/2006 09:13

How many days past ov are you now? Starting to feel better? Any symptoms yet?

rubles · 04/10/2006 09:23

Natty - let us know what your result is.

Trace2, nice to know I'm remembered! How are you doing hun? I saw your post about ditching the thermometer as it was getting you too jittery - very good idea, if you ask me. Just try to enjoy the fact that you have got a nice BFP and don't keep watching out for things going wrong. Enjoy having your little bean in there.

I have still been getting the cramps on a daily basis, some days worse than others. Really don't understand it as it has been happening for 8 days now - would love to think it was implantation but really don't think so, somehow. I just can't imagine myself afer getting pregnant anymore.
After my low temperature on Monday I haven't been taking my temp because I think I would prefer to find out I wasn't pregnant by knicker watching, I think I want to keep a glimmer of hope. Today or tomorrow is the day for AF though, so the waiting game could all soon be over.

So Rubyroo, do you want to tell us what you did differently this time?

Jess - sounds very confusing for you, I don't really know what could be going on. I hope you get that elusive positive though.

Babymad - I wondered where you had disappeared to. It sounds like you are in a similar boat to me with the AF pains. I'm 12 dpo today though.

Lovelybird & endlesslove (and anyone else that I have missed who has just got AF), sooo sorry. Maybe you could still try and squeeze in a positive in October though??

Hi to everyone else - Rachelrose, MrsMcJnr...oh blimey I know I'll have missed someone...

trace2 · 04/10/2006 09:26

ooo rubes i have my fingers crossed for you, i hope she keeps away

Natty1806 · 04/10/2006 09:35

fingers crossed for you rubles. x

MrsMcJnr · 04/10/2006 10:31

AF arrived this morning, CD 34 (was hopeful as cycle was 30 days last month). Oh well. Point me to the November thread! ;-)

OP posts:
RachelRose · 04/10/2006 13:02

Aw, babelisa, sorry about AF - not sure there is a Nov thread, looks like you may be starting it but there'll be a few of use hopping over soon.

My AF is due Thurs / Fri as well as MrsMcJ and Cutiebabies, so lets see what the next few days brings

Huge CONGRATULATIONS to you Rubyroo Thats excellent news. Do you know the cause of your lack of ovulation before this month?

Hi Rubles, really really hope AF stays away and its your month.

MrsMcJ - So your temps are back up. That could be very interesting!

Hi to everyone else on here... Hope you all having a good day

rubyroo · 04/10/2006 14:05

thank you everyone for the congrats!! i am keeping everything crossed for you testing this week but don't lose hope until af arrives cause it took me 4 tests and til 16dpo t get bfp!

rachelrose i was told before dd by a consultant at my local hospital that i'd had premature menopause (i was 32 at time) and would never have a natural child because i hadn't had a period for 1yr 6months i then immediately got pregnant with dd

when it started to happen again (now 35) i was too depressed to see gp at first then eventually i did and she sent me for progesterone test. i don't really know whats up with my ovaries as they've never been scanned. i've always only had light af for a couple of days. i've only half a thyroid left so that could be it i suppose? anyway i hope it gives hope to others never ever take a first opinion always seek more advice.

MrsMcJnr i just followed all you guys' advice on this thread and also took agnus castus from day 1 till ovulation as someone on mumsnet recommended it for annovulatory cycles. i did opk days13/14 got positives on those and temps showed only slight rise day15. i've dipped below my coverline twice since ovulation but early on and had an implantation dip as well day8 but i think my cycle is triphasic hope all that makes sense and is of some use to someone!!
not sure if its all in my head but feel very queasy now!! am off for a lie down before dd wakes up its my day off today

desperate2bmum · 04/10/2006 14:36

dd1 - sorry to hear you are down,i hope when you come back and join us again that you are feeling refreshed and its with good news!

rubyroo - congratuklations on your bfp!!

hello to everyone else too!

well nothing to report from me...have given up temping i just cannot remember to do it and also i wake up a lot later at weekends so it just wouldnt be accurate enough.might try again in desperation next month.

gallons of babydust to all who is testing/expecting a/f this week....

MrsMcJnr · 04/10/2006 14:48

Oh Desperate!! It only takes 21 days to make or break a habit you!

Thank you for sharing Rubyroo - I was worried that the post BD headstand was going to make a re-appearance (I haven't been doing that - yet!! )

Hello RachelRose and Cutiebabies! Let's hope the old bag stays at bay and does not pitch up at all

Sorry AF turned up BBWBabeLisa
