Hoping for a positive in October!

Hi, I'm not sure if theres already a thread for those hoping for a +ive October. I'm on the +ive Sept one but my fertile window for this month has just passed without being able to try (got to get blood sugars stable before we can try) so next chance to try will be towards end of September (32ish cycle), which means I won't be in a position to test til October. If theres already an October thread please point me in that direction, if not, here we go!

Sneaks, it sounds fairly hopeful for you - test again! (I can't test at the moment so get my testing kicks out of persuding others to test - Sorry!!)

Hi Cakehead, definately dont give up on this month. There's still a chance if you only away for a few days.

I think for the moment I'll try and take it as a negative and then in a few more days test again. if i can possibly hold out!!
AF is due tommorrow roughly. so we'll see!
Not feeling crampy or anything. no spotting yet. just some cm.
I'm kinda tired and dizzy, peeing lots and sick to my stomach. but then again. maybe i do have an over active imagination!

Hi babymad - what's wrong with flapjacks??

Can you post a link to your temp chart so i can have a look at it please. My temp went up from 36.29 - 36.65 today so would appreciate one to compare to.

thanks for all the support everyone and congrats to all the new bfp's!! have been strong and made it through another day of not testing am now 9 days post ovulation so am really going to try and not crack but feel really really tired. bump on car not too bad MrsMcJnr but nearly cried all the same!! will prob get my progesterone bloodtests fri to say if i did ovulate or not. Rubles ive had the fsh tests done too before i got pregnant with dd and they told me i was off the scale no hope over 20 then 2 weeks later we concieved dd!!! take all with large pinch of salt and always get a second opinion!

Thanks, had a look what day would you say you oved this month then? It is amazing how everyones are all different. Will post mine in a few days need to see if temp is high again tomorrow.

You know I said I had lots of cM yesterday, well i had it again just now, but it was slightly tinged and there seemed to be evidence of previous 'dark' CM. I am only 5 dpo so really hoping this is a good sign and not a very bad sign.
Rubyroo - thanks for that reassurance, it's really good to hear.
Natty do you want to know my temps so far too, or do you have enough?

grr Natty, I tried the link and it said I hadn't published my cycle! Will try again tomorrow. I am CD19 OV CD17 so 2dpo but temps still quite low

a/f truely here with vengeance..i think she is makin gup for the last 3 pain free periods...i am in agony! and my stomach is like a balloon!

mrsmcjnr - how are you hun feels like i havnt "spoken" to you in ages! when are you due to test? and are things all rosey now with dh? i am still not sleeping as i would like to...but i am now putting it down to work so have been browsing for another job and if one comes up i shall be putting ttc on hold for 11 weeks so i will still be entitled to maternity pay.

babymad - hiya hun! how did the flapjacks go? whats the pot/not part on your temps?

whats the time limits for taking temps in morning i usually take mine 5:15-5:30 is that range ok?

hope all others on the thread are hunky dory! i am cd2 today so its gonna be a loooonnnggggg month oh and pre-seed turned up today just got to go to post office to collect..what days does everyone use it?? only on ov??

Hi all, After my EWCM today I did OV test and negative again... So no clue as to what my body is up to. I had a wierd phase about 6 years ago when I didn't have a period for 13 months - negative tests for PCOS, and docs said it was just one of those things. Hope my body isn't going to do "just one of those things" again. I know I'm reading far too much into it

Sneaks, I admire your testing-resistance! And Desperate, sorry AF is such a pain for you this month.

Hi to everyone, sorry to hear things are difficult and hoping for a positive October.

I had a really bad day.... I was given 1 months notice on my job (offshoring roles to Singapore) I found out two mates are pregnant. Very happy for one, but the other is an irritating in your face person so have that to look forward to!
CD3 and have plan...
EPO, B6, Charting, OV sticks (still don't get them) grapefruit juice (yuck) booked accupuncture (not sure) bd once dh gets over cold! Planning on job hunting with legs in the air! Annyone else early cycle (so to speak)

Desperate2bmum - really sorry that AF has come, I hope the disappointment of that is easing now and you are starting to look forward to this cycle with a positive head on. It generally takes me a couple of days to pick myself up. As to the temps question, that range sounds fine. I think some people may vary less than others, but within half an hour is OK.

Rachelrose - I'm afraid it might be a one-off anovulatory month or you might have to carry on testing for a couple more days. Maybe you need to have more than one day of fertile CM before you ovulate (I do).

Cityangel - do you have a good redundancy package? Will you be able to cope on your dp's salary alone? How are you feeling about leaving? I am being moved on from my current role due to it being sent offshore to India, so I may be getting made redundant in the next couple of months too - I'm not bothered though as I am planning a career change anyway.

Sneaks - did you manage to hold off testing?

Is anyone using TCOYF software? might temps have been high last 2 days and had really bad ov pains on Monday so i though and would put money on the fact that i have ovulated on Tuesday, but because from fri - Sun i forgot to do OPk 's the software disagrees with me so i have been naughty and put a positive OPK in for Sunday. DO you think it is okay to do that or should i have just left it?
