The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 12+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooooh aren’t we strict!

Looking good Bushy

I was up at 6 and did mine but left DH sleeping. The line's as faint as yesterday - desperately hoping for it be darker tomorrow or I think that the clinic will say bfn. It still astounds me how the advice from.clinics differs so much, so interesting what your clinic told you Bushy.

Full of a stinking cold so may be spending all day in bed!

FeatherFeather11 · 24/05/2014 09:24

bushy looks like a v clear line to me! Has the bleeding stopped? hb got everything crossed for you. And hope you're feeling better soon.

Well, I. Am. Exhausted. Feel as though I could stay in bed all day. 9dpo now and having pre-af feelings in my lower belly and lower back. Legs ache too. I just want it to hurry up and arrive now so I have a clear run through hen and wedding (can you tell I've no bfp hope for this month?) Hmm

Happy Saturday to all!

beakybeak · 24/05/2014 09:44

HB sorry if I'm being thick here, but it's a line and although it may be faint, surely it wouldn't be there at all if there wasn't hcg detected?

Bushy your test is looking good, keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you! You could wheel out the old antibiotics excuse? Or buy low alcohol wine?

Sorry you are both stuck in this bizarre limbo Sad

Nolly maybe just 1 year of hard education on appropriateness?!

Feather I am not surprised your knackered and boo to potential AF. You too RP and boo to low temps.

Hope everyone has a lovely bank holiday weekend!

lumen · 24/05/2014 09:59

bushy and hb those are lines! hope they represent sticky beans.

I would go with the antibiotics excuse if it was me, not something people tend to question.

Hope everyone has a relaxing bank holiday weekend.

HampshireBlues · 24/05/2014 11:08

So now I'm really confused. Bought a boots early testing kit and come back as negativ. Really hate the uncertainty of it all. So wish I hasn't bothered ans now realise why the nurse said to leave it till Sunday.

RevoltingPeasant · 24/05/2014 12:10

Oh HB :( Well, why don't you wait till Monday? Try to put it out of your mind yeah right for 24 hours and try again then?

AFy feelings.... Booooooo!

nolly3 · 24/05/2014 12:48

It's still very early days, Hb. Some wouldn't be getting positives for another week. Plus, tests vary so much. Anyway, it's all out of your hands, so don't beat yourself up. Easier said than done but can you do something to distract yourself?

Boo Rp boo. Even the weather is depressing

funkymonk · 24/05/2014 13:06

Just dashing in quickly and will catch up properly later on... HB I know from much research that boots and sainsburys own preg tests are not meant to be as reliable as others. All the tests are diff sensitivities. The internet cheapies are most sensitive at around 10mol or whatever the correct measurement is. A line is a line regardless of what test it is on. You are currently diffed until proven otherwise. Surely if you weren't then the hcg wouldn't be there to register on a test at all?
Bushy that's amazing. A bleed like you described didn't sound good at all but the test evidence is showing otherwise! Fantastic!

beakybeak · 24/05/2014 13:43

HB boots are known for being poor for sensitivity, they are like 50miu or something. Frer and superdrug are 10miu which is much better for early testing. Hugs to you and hope you can find a distraction to keep your mind off everything.

Bunnygirlie · 24/05/2014 15:23

Keeping fingers crossed for you hb and bushy!!!

TheRainDrops · 24/05/2014 15:52

Cooooeeeeee!

Stuck in traffic on way home from the airport. I have the sunshine in my suitcase and will unpack it for you all as soon as we get in!

Lots to catch up on but just wanted to check in and give some hugs for HB and bushy - I'm with the a line is a line crew! barking how's being PP going?

See you all laterz Grin

CatsCantFlyFast · 24/05/2014 16:17

Hb I got neg on a boots and a first response three days after I got my bfp on other tests

nolly3 · 24/05/2014 16:56

Rain! Did you have a good time? It's been raining all week here, nicely timed

barkingtreefrog · 24/05/2014 17:01

hb and bushy keep holding in there, the early days are the hardest. Both bfps, and I don't need to reinforce what everyone else has already said hb, just ignore the less sensitive one! How are you doing win if you're lurking?

rain thanks for the sunshine. This 2ww is killing me. Just 5dpo.....

Went to see the baby this afternoon, the one that was born just before my edd. I need to rant. Bear in mind that they instadiffed, and that they know we've been trying 2.5 years, and they'd just asked how the iui was going.... Baby started crying and she just turned to me, laughed, and said 'don't do it, you don't want one.'
Yeah bloody hilarious. Angry

Bunnygirlie · 24/05/2014 17:11

Ooh barking I think I would have punched her in the nose! Grrrrrrrrr on your behalf!

FeatherFeather11 · 24/05/2014 17:38

Just sneaking on on our weekend away as I have to say: barking, I would have biffed her one. One of my closest friends did that a lot before my ectopic "you're better off without them, ha!" Etc etc, but I think I told her to stop it and then had the ect and she stopped.

rain welcome home! Hurry up and unpack that sun pls and hope you had a lovely time.

hb agree with all the others re tests. Some are crap, some aren't, and a line that's not a line is rare.

I'm thinking of sending the sausage signal out to lady. Hope you're ok if you're reading this. Flowers

tigerdog · 24/05/2014 18:06

feather I agree, barking i would have biffed her too! Grrr.

hb sending you good vibes and hoping for your bfp.

At my mates wedding, need some berry power. As predicted, first friends I saw announced they were pg. So far have fielded more questions than am comfortable with about my own plans for a family. The solution: get hammered for the first time in 2014!

FeatherFeather11 · 24/05/2014 18:28

tiger goooooo foooooorrrrr iiiiitttttt! Grin Wine

HampshireBlues · 24/05/2014 18:29

Barking I would have definitely biffed her on the nose!

Tiger hope that people leave you alone soon.

Thank you all for your comments; this is so tough. May leave the clinic test until Monday and hope for a darker line. Did go home after doing the test (was in a car park) sobbed for a bit then dud what any self respecting trying to conciever does - go to Mothercare! With 2 baby showers up and coming didn't really have any choice.

Hope everyone's Saturday is not too damp.

FeatherFeather11 · 24/05/2014 18:29

Ps. May as well biff the insta-diffs while you're at it, tiger. Berrie poooooowwwwwweeeeerrrrrrr!!!!

HampshireBlues · 24/05/2014 18:31

barkingtreefrog · 24/05/2014 19:15

Ta for the biff support ladies. It just confirms that I've been right to avoid her, she has no empathy or social skills whatsoever. I spent hours (and hours) knitting and sewing together a teddy bear for the baby. She just unwrapped it, said to baby 'look it's a teddy' then put it down. That was it.
Aaaanyway. Is anyone else using the mn app? It's not let me connect for a couple of days now, tried reinstalling and everything. It's a faff on my phone going through the website!

tiger hope you're well and truely sazzled and telling all the nosy people where to shove their stupid, insensitive questions.

beakybeak · 24/05/2014 19:39

Barking yep I agree biff her nose. She doesn't even sound like she is trying to show empathy.

Tiger I read another threat on here that suggested saying something along the lines of "we only do anal.." Ahem. Apparently it works but I'd never dare try it. Otherwise berry power to you.

Rain hope you've had a lovely holiday and we definitely need some of your sun!

I am still having really light bleeding, think I am going to ring the GP on Tuesday.

TheRainDrops · 24/05/2014 20:21

barking that flipping ingrate! Steal the damn teddy back, and biff her on the way out.

beaky definitely make the call, and make a fuss. General nhs line seems to be not to worry if you don't make it clear you're worried, for pretty much every medical issue!

So knackered, and no justification as our flight was daytime and the time difference is tiny (and in our favour). Think it might be an early night for me!

chloechloe · 24/05/2014 20:36

Hey ladies! I've been AWOL for a while and have a lot of catching up to do!

HB Sorry you're still in limbo, my fingers are crossed for you. A line is a line, no matter how faint it is.

tiger Good luck for the job interview next week!

beaky Glad that your IUI appointment went well and that you have a nice clinic with friendly staff. It makes a big difference I think in keeping you relaxed through the whole procedure.

funky Sorry the witch turned up.

happy Hope you have a great hen do!

lumen Good luck with the secret sniffing thsi weekend! DH decided to invite friends for an impromptu BBQ last week so I was shooting up in hiding too!

bushy Those two tests look promising! Hope you have a good weekend camping and can try to relax a little.
