Anyone else about to start their TWW?

Am 29, TTC 1, cycle #1... After much silent stalking of threads on here and research DH and I have this week just decided to start trying. Very excited and also a little bit nervous about this (potentially) long journey we've just started out on!

Roll on 7th May... anyone else in a similar boat/care to join me?

Thanks, you too! Hopefully next month will be our month :) I'm new to all of this so not really sure about what symptoms to watch for... Trying not to think about it too much but can see how easy it is to become obsessed with it!

Oh yes obsessing is quite easy!!! It's so hard to pin point symptoms they are so similar to your period coming that its hard to know. I've been pregnant 4 times and still don't know what to look for lol! I do know though that I should be able to test about 10dpo I got a postive that early with my last baby.

Hi there. I have a 25 day cycle- got my solid face on ovulation test this morining and according to my app I'm also on the TWW thought following SMEP so more BD'ing to do tonight lol. this month seems to be going is soooo slow!

I am in the 2ww with you. Today is day 27 of my cycle and I think I am od+10. Ooohh I hate this time soo much!! Had some symptoms as if AF was on it way grr tenderbreast underneath, back cramp and terrible indigestion, but all has subsided today. cm has increased :-( soo tricky to tell. fingers crossed for us all soon.

Helloooo! I am on 2WW now....solid smiley on cb monitor on Tuesday evening (after flashies on Sun, Mon and Tues) which corresponded with my FF app which predicted ovulation on Weds (CD12). I defo had some mild cramps yesterday too. DTD Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon, Weds and this morning and hoping that will be enough as we are both knackered lol! DH usually doesn't need much persuading but did this morning....poor dragon ! It was also his idea to TTC in the first place so I'm not having any complaining . AF is due on 8th May although cycle a bit unpredictable due to having stopped pill in December. Not testing until then.... promise

Mel we are pretty much on exactly the same cycle! Just popped to Asda and came home with a whole bunch of HPTs- I can't even use them for at least another week and a half! (Although am going to try and hang on til AF is due...). And Waffley I agree, this month is dragging. Trying desperately not to wish my life away but it's really hard not to.

Am off work today (am a primary teacher still on Easter break) and have just wasted the last half an hour watching pregnancy announcements on YouTube- Had such big plans to get lots of marking done this morning but it just isn't happening. Some of the videos are hilarious though, if you're looking to procrastinate today I can recommend it!

im 6dpo today, I usually dont symptom spot but ive been crampy all afternoon, feel like im about to come on my period. hope its a sign of implantation? ?

we had sex on Tuesday and I've been feeling sick today, bit bloated and the scales are 3lbs higher thsn this time last week.
I am.probably just feeling the effects of a stressful week, but I've cracked open the folic acid just incase.

also, you get a clearer result if you piar (piss in a ramekin) and dunk.the stick for the time rather than pissing directly onto it.

Thanks everyone. I think I'll have to do a few more tests before I really believe it. I also m/c in Jan at 6.5 weeks so trying not to get too excited.
Certainly getting symptoms though, so that's encouraging.

Hello folks, first post here, mind if I join in?

So we are now officially ttc #2 (see username!). I have long-ish cycles and apparently the capacity to ovulate twice (gulp!), though not every time, if the jabbing pains in ovary region are anything to go by. I am somewhere within tww - AF due around the 4th May - never sure if/when it pops out as there can be twinges for days.

Symptom spotting already. :( Please somebody tell me I'm being silly.

oh! I just realised it was the week after I thought! I was going to visit my mum after mothering Sunday, but I went the week after! I was on my period when I went up there. from the 7th not the 1st!!
so it's not due until this Thursday!
