Am 29, TTC 1, cycle #1... After much silent stalking of threads on here and research DH and I have this week just decided to start trying. Very excited and also a little bit nervous about this (potentially) long journey we've just started out on!

Roll on 7th May... anyone else in a similar boat/care to join me?

Hope the migraine goes away quick cani...

till nada. No spotting which would have been normal for today in my cycle (AF due tomorrow) but didn't test this am as didn't want the disappointment if it was still neg. At a conference today but managed to do quite well with eeking out a large glass of wine over 2.5 hours!

Anyone else? How's the wait treating you?

I'm out for this month! AF arrived today just as I was down working on a materity ward. Talk about timing!

But on a positive I can drink on my birthday, get back to thinking like a normal person for a few days and it's still a step closer....

Fingers crossed for the rest of you. June bus here I come!

Sad to hear that Canireallydothis. As you said though at least you can have birthday drinks without worrying! I work in a hospital too in paediatrics and at least one day a week I have to walk through the antenatal/postnatal waiting room to get to the outpatients reception. It's can be encouraging and gutting (and everything in between) to see all those lovely babies and bumps. I hope working in maternity wasn't too hard on AF day for you.

Still no AF my end, now one day late. I tested yesterday (BFN) but couldn't test this am. Will test tomorrow morning if still no AF. I'm feeling a bit weird (a bit sick, some smells are really strong and repulsive) but feel it could be all in my head.

Ooooh keeping everything crossed for you phryn. It was more ironic than anything. I feel ok. I think it's my body's way of giving me more time to mentally prepare if it had happened first time I'm not sure what I would have actually done :-D

According to my Ovia app I can test in 10 days!
I hope the wait goes quickly, as I am soooo impatient.
good job I can't get the internet cheapies here as I do have a slight addiction :-)

Sorry to hear you're out newbie. Hopefully next month will be your one.

I'm still in a weird place. AF is now 2 days late but tests (even a clear digital one) say not pregnant. I'm pretty convinced that I ovulated and am now 16dpo. I'm meant to be getting my cycle day 2-5 day bloods done at the GP tomorrow to test for PCOS (due to spot attack, random hairs but am not overweight so they think it's unlikely). Not having started AF means I can't get the bloods done but as the appt is first thing in the am I'm going to go so at least I can ask the nurse what might be going on. I suspect they'll just say wait for AF.

Afternoon,
I am living in Dubai phryn but it is a very pleasant 37 degrees today so a few more weeks before we hit 50.
Sorry to everyone who af has got this month.
I find it so strange that I am willing my period not to show up, when I was going through my cmp I use to pray that my period would arrive and when it finally did after 6 months I was sooooo happy and excited! How times change :-)

Sorry to hear that Newbie it will be our month next month and hopefully for all of us who got caught by AF this time :-)

Keep us updated Phryn the main positive side of getting AF for me is I can go back to not thinking about TTC 24/7 so I feel your pain of still not knowing! Keeping everything crossed for good news for you.

I felt the same 50 all of a sudden I am not only wishing AF away but finally realising and learning about my cycle. I had no clue about any of this before! Not quite 37 degrees here today but I am sitting in the garden as I type :-) I've had a fab couple of holdays in Dubai so very jealous

Still no news. AF 4 days over due. Tested this morning with an IC and it was negative. Went to nurse appt yesterday but it was with a health care assistant who apologised and said that she didn't know the answers to what might be going on for me! She also couldn't do the blood draw as it's meant to be tied to the beginning of my cycle!

All in all rather frustrating. Think I'll just wait and test using IC every other day till Friday (8days late) and then call the GP to see if I can talk it through with them.

How's the wait treating everyone else?

AF turned up late last night. So my off pill cycles have been 33 days, 29 days and 42 days in length! Onto the June bus and hoping my cycles get more regular soon - being late and having a 27 day wait where you wonder if you are pregnant was not fun. Having my day 2-5 bloods taken on Fri though so that might highlight if anything is a bit odd.

Af arrived this morning, regular as clockwork!
This month was our first real month of trying so not feeling too bad. I also try to remember that whenever I get af it is a clear reminder that I no longer have gestational trophablasic disease, which I shall always be thankful for as I know that some ladies unfortunately don't make it.

So for those on their next TTW how is it going?? I have got some LH surge strips things but no surge detected yet. Am on CD16 and OH is away from tomorrow till Sunday ....

Keeping on giving it a go is all we can do at the moment! I am more and more astounded that people get pregnant by accident when we DTD loads and its doesn't happen! Finger crossed this is the TWW with a BFP!
