Anyone else about to start their TWW?

Am 29, TTC 1, cycle #1... After much silent stalking of threads on here and research DH and I have this week just decided to start trying. Very excited and also a little bit nervous about this (potentially) long journey we've just started out on!

Roll on 7th May... anyone else in a similar boat/care to join me?

I was exactly the same, thought im not going to do all that opk, scheduling dtd around ovulation, obsessive malarkey and just be nice n chilllllled. urrr Nope . I think with making a big conscious decision to have a baby its impossible to be relaxed. My oh has tried banning me from opks!

Thanks for the welcome! I still can't believe I'm even trying. Commenting on here makes it feel even more scary real! Luckily (and sort of unluckily for DTD) I work away a lot so can mumsnet to my hearts content when I'm away. Will use all my willpower not to go into superdrug at lunch and get these early tests people keep raving about!

Yes it does make it all seem very real once you start talking about it, almost as if the mere act of talking about it will make you instantly upduffed (as many say on here) i would say stay awayyy from superdrugs, fight it. But i am a hypocrite. As i after my long list of symptoms mentioned a few posts ago i did a IC test today it was the faintest line so faint i think im imagining it xx

I hope its ok to share i took i a digi test and it say PREGNANT

There's been 3 bfps over on the ttc#1 newbies thread, its a lovely thread, everyone's so nice and encouraging. Sadly one of the lady's is miscarrying and taking a break from the thread.

Thought I'd stop lurking and say hello. I'm 32 (not sure how that happened - I'm sure I was 27 last time I checked). This is my first proper 2ww, last month we were trying but just seeing what happened as it was my first period since stopping all contraception. I'm midway through my 2ww, AF due on Friday 17th. Can't help but symptom spot as have had even weirder dreams than normal and back ache. Trying to let my rationale brain steer rather than the "what ifs" take over!

I think ive bern following that thread too, there are a couple I pop in and out of but then I get confused! Such fab news for you, you must be in top of the world!

To answer a couple of questions up thread, was on Yasmin contraception for about 6 or 7 years and stopped about 2 years ago (have been meaning to start trying for a while but only just decided- never the right time is it!)

Symptoms:
Bloating
Lots of wind
On/off nausea
Boobs were a bit sore one morning
Runny nose?!
Yellow cm (sorry tmi!)

Hi Yoni Thank-you . I had very similar symptoms to your list, I forgot to add i also have had increased cm, a runny nose (i kept sneezing so put that down to hay fever) and I have so much wind, much more than i get with the ibs how are you feeling ? x
