I thought I'd start a thread for all those who will be starting out TTC this month, I'd be interested to see how other people get on, tips, moral support etc. We'll be starting TTC at the weekend!!

Morning all, keeping my fingers crossed for you all this week :) ive still not had a withdrawal bleed and ov sticks say negative still! Poo! Oh well, I am being very impatient! everyone looking forward to the weekend? Going to try and dtd a fair bit whilst we have the time off!
Even every other day dtd seems a lot to me lol. We usually both fall asleep on the sofa at about 10pm - rock n roll - living the dream!

Ali I have been taking folic acid. Consultant told me it's good if you can get 3 months worth in your system before you get pregnant, it doesn't hurt if you don't I don't think, last time I found out late so only started taking them from 9 - 10 weeks

Eeee AF due tomorrow :-/ desperately trying not to poas today bet my body will be cruel and AF will be late

I've been taking folic acid a few weeks, still no sign of AF! I have work all Easter weekend, nights too so hope everyone else is more successfull at dtd then me!

I am trying from January 2014 and no luck yet.
I am approaching my Fertile window soon so keeping m fingers crossed. I have work all Ester weekend. This time I am planning to use Balance Active Fertility Gel from boots. I was wondering if it really works?

Oooh youl have to let us know, I have been looking at concieve plus but will wait to see if AF shows before buying any

Yea I think a girl cus we have all the stuff and it's all brand new. Seems a shame to waste it, and I have the nursery pink and I love it! Would upset me to re decorate it

Well I've had an eventful week which ended up going for emergency minor surgery yesterday under GA.

I told them I was on my 2ww but obv too early for them to test me, so now sort of hoping I get my AF now rather than worrying about everything my body's been through!

Even if you are pregnant hopefully it will be ok, the baby doesn't connect to your blood supply and stuff until 6 weeks... I think!!!

Can I just say I might've appeared to be "bragging" when I said we were dtd every night, let me clear this up! Before we started ttc we would do it once a week (or less) and our nights mainly consisted of me falling asleep with my mouth wide open in front of Game of Thrones.
And by dtd, right now it mainly consists of quickies and then me doing a handstand. LOL!

Noo didn't think you were bragging think were all at it like rabbits but just made me chuckle the way you came in with it, I liked it! Every time we DTD I lie there with me legs up in the air for 20 -30 mins, DH thinks I've lost it! He looks at me like I'm a wierdo!

I had a labial cyst that grew to epic proportions in the space of two days! Sent to emergency ward for an op and I'm doing great now.

I lie with my legs in air too!!!!! Kato sorry to hear about that hope you recover quick

How long did you all have to wait for your withdrawal bleed? I was expecting it in the few days after stopping, but it's nearly a week now and nothing at all.

I am going to DTD almost everyday in my fertile days this time and will use balance active gel and will lie with my legs in air for 15-20 mins. Please pray for me. Keeping my fingers crossed.

You mean withdrawal bleed after stopping the pill? Mine came 3 days after stopping and lasted 8 days!!! We've been at it ever since it stopped (1 week ago).
If it doesn't come I'd suggest poas, you never know!!! If its a bfn go see your GP!

What tests are you using? I heard first response are the most reliable. I'd say wait a week and do two of those, the you'll know for sure.
