For those starting TTC in April

I thought I'd start a thread for all those who will be starting out TTC this month, I'd be interested to see how other people get on, tips, moral support etc. We'll be starting TTC at the weekend!!

Oh no :( well try to have a day of rest. That's if u can with DS, how old is he? Mines 9 months now
I'm rather lucky today DS is going to nursery so I'm going out to order his christening cake and have a little piece and quiet! He's suddenly become mobile so been hard work!

AF has stopped today!!! :D so excited!!! I can start trying again, going to start using the opks today!

cupcake- nice to hear I'm not alone with the early riser. Although tonight it is a stupid cough keeping me awake . Apparently swigging night nurse from the bottle is frowned upon when pregnant so right now sat up in bed drinking herbal tea. Tomorrow will be a long day...

Bugaboom, when I was pg with DS I got hot all the time! Like lots of hot flashes.
Bless my DS wakes at 5am every morning too! He demands breakfast and wants to play straight after, but 5am Is far too early to play haha!

I had a bit of nausea today but was a bit stressed at work so not convinced anything pregnant related. Been feeling very hot at times- not sure if that's a symptom. And I am exhausted but that is thanks to DS waking several times in the night and getting up for the day at 5:30..

By this time with my last pregnancy I had mega morning sickness but this time I'm fine (so far) apart from the fact that I CANNOT stop eating, I'm a bit tierd, wee a lot and have morning insomnia (don't know if that's a thing or if I made it up)

Thanks I've been reading all these horror stories online about the early scans and think I'm preparing myself for the worst. Hopefully I'm being silly but it still doesn't seem real and the lack of symptoms doesn't help!

Work keeps my mind off it, but only to an extent as I'm surrounded my children all day! We need to think of a good name for thread 2... Otherwise we might lose each other and we need to stick together!

As for DTD, I prefer morning to nighttime! Only cos I'm always so sleepy in the evening...

9DPO and counting. DH is so convinced it'll happen straight away and isn't nervous or worried at all- I keep telling him that it could take ages and it makes no difference! Still, I suppose it's good to be positive...

I think we should all still hang out together - the thread was those who TTC in April, which we did even if some of us missed the bus! Although we're nearly at 1000 messages, I don't know what you'd call thread 2?!

The April clock is ticking and we have TTC so fingers crossed for the next week... lordy - I am not very good at this waiting.

What do you do to keep your mind off it?
