I've just read Toni Weschler's book Taking Charge of your Fertility and found it really interesting. It took us over 2 years to have our daughter and we're trying for number 2 so I'm ready to give anything a shot. I'm just interested to know how well known this approach is, and also to hear of successful experiences.

Hello Mummymelling - sounds like you are on track! . You cannot really examine your CM after BD as the semen obscures it. What does help though is Keggle exercises a few hours later as that will rid you of unwanted semen so you can tell what's you. Wait a few hours though so you don't ruin your chances from the BD.

MrsMcJnr I've been having headach's for the last three days now and same thing dosent go away with tablet, yesterday late afternoon i had a really bad one didn't go away with tablets so i put a film on for the boys and went for a lie down, and watch the weather out the window, when DH got back from work he thought i was waitting for him to do some BD but i wasn't but we ended up BD any way (pillow under bum for about 30mins), but it did get rid of the headach!!
Dont even talk to me about hormons i've had a bad break out of spots for the last 6 weeks now , dont want anything from the doctors due to TTC and had most of the creams in the past dont work or if they do take months, what the point when i WILL be PG very soon and hormons are just going to be out the window any way!!
Have you had chance to use your "pre seed"?

has anyone tried the fertility testing kits off e bay that tell you if you still got eggs and if dh semen are up to the job??

MM-I was going to buy last month but i thought not in the end, but i will buy them next month if not PG (unlikely ) They £80 from "Boots" thow better to buy them off ebay look around on there too, you can get them for £15, not bad i thought, i buy everything of there

Hi Babymad - no, not managed to use the pre-seed yet. Hopefully tonight . That's if I can stay awake long enough waiting for DH to get home from the pub. Sorry to hear you are not feeling great either and about your skin. It must be hard with two little ones to look after. LOL about DH thinking that you were waiting for him!!did the trick though!!

dh was deafend at 6wks old by a massive overdose of the antibiotic NEOMYCIN, as he was accidentally scalded, it destroyed is auditory neves and he has always been convinced that he cant have kids or any that he might have would be disabled, anyone any knowledge of this at all??

I'm a stay at home mum too, DH doesn't want me to go to work it wouldn't benefit us anyway! House is a mess but I'm waiting for my gran to pick my boys up, she has them on a Thursday, then I can do the tidying up with out them under my feet! LOL!

i worked full time until last month but since we got married it dosent pay to as ive lost all my ctcredits , so it seemed like a good time to try for a baby, the tiredness and sickness wont be so much of a prob, if i ever get pg that is lol

mummymelling, you have 4 boys? I'm one of TEN myself I'm the frist a girl then my mother had 8 boys then a girl!

I would dearly love a girl nxt ,but dh wants a boy, we are adopting my two boys soon as he has brought up the 2 yr old so far , we met when i was 6mth pg , after ex h walked out on us to live with former best mate across rd.

MM i would love a girl too, but after trying for 13 mths now, just to be PG would be a god send, plus the most important thing is a health baby!
