The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Seasides am so so happy for you. You've been here for us all and it's wonderful that it's your turn to get off this thread (in the nicest possible way)!

Otters and Penguin it's lovely to hear from you. I've not been posting as much as nothing much is happening...

Sebs hope you find out what's going on.

sebsmummy1 · 24/04/2014 18:28

Thanks tanny.

I've taken a photo of both of them. I took one about half an hour after the other this aft. Obviously with weak urine as I'd just come back from the gym.

seasides wonderful news, so pleased for you x

sebs easily said but try not to panic. Poas in the morning and if you're still concerned definitely have a chat with your gp. Fingers crossed for you x

So who is poas-ing tomorrow? gail fingers crossed for you and anyone else who is.....this thread is due another bfp I think!

Cd10 here, no news as we aren't really ttc this month although I would like to give it a whirl dh still not so keen, sigh.

Cakebaker35 · 24/04/2014 18:34

sebs definitely something there...

Seasides · 24/04/2014 19:02

Thanks so much everyone Smile!

sebs, my experience was unusual because I ruptured so early, but if it helps, I had a very strange period - a huge gush of blood then light bleeding that didn't stop until after my surgery. The pain doesn't usually start until at least 5 weeks, as you say. If your AF was normal, I would say ectopic is unlikely - well, it is unlikely anyway, only a 1% chance. But if you get a positive in the morning, there's no harm in getting it checked out, though I would advise waiting until 5 and a half or 6 weeks before getting a scan so you don't get freaked out like I did! They didn't want to scan me at 5 weeks, it's just that it all got nasty so early before. Good luck, I'm sure everything will be just fine. xx

LittleMissSunshine33 · 24/04/2014 19:13

Congrats seaside!

Sebs I would seek a second opinion it does look like there is a line there.

Cakebaker does this stop you DTD it may be that OH just doesn't want the pressure of it?

I am loving this 4 day week glad we have another one soon! FX for all who are POAS tomorrow! I am still POA(OPK)S and still flashing smileys!

TMI Alert ... OH and I DTD last night and had my legs up after in usual gravity position and OH threw my the loo roll as he usual does but it bounced off my head and after we could not stop laughing but I think this meant most of his swimmers came out!! Do you think it matters?

Justonemoretime · 24/04/2014 19:19

Hello! New thread here. Hopefully! x

tannyLoo · 24/04/2014 20:27

Thanks just, haven't seen you over here for a while.

I don't seem to get photos on my phone. I'll have to switch to the laptop to see Seb's squinter...

Justonemoretime · 24/04/2014 20:36

No problem, I've been following prof Quenby's plan. Just starting 2ww Wink

Littlelady33 · 24/04/2014 20:54

Seasides I'm so thrilled for you! Fx for an uneventful 8 months. Sebs that does sound odd but I'm sure from what you say and the dates that ectopic is extremely unlikely. Worth checking with your GP if you can?

tannyLoo · 24/04/2014 21:26

Those are definitely squinters... Goodness, how odd and (possibly) exciting. You do hear of people being upduffed and having a period so not knowing they are, and of course it could be a chemical.

Your head must be all over the place.

I guess if you have a stronger line tomorrow, it'd be worth getting to the GP, but as Seasides said, an early scan won't tell you much.

I'm up early tomorrow, so will be checking for POAS results from everyone.

Are we going to try using up all the spaces on this thread like we did last time?

GailLondon · 25/04/2014 07:55

I'm out, AF got me last night. Rubbish!

fedupofrainydays · 25/04/2014 08:11

Just checking in for POAS Friday!

sebs I would do a non ic. We don't trust them remember!!

My friend had a normal period and found out she was preg at 8 weeks. And she's just had a baby. Ectopic is usually dark, watery bleeding.

I would definitely do a non ic test then if that's positive give your gp / EPU a ring.

sebsmummy1 · 25/04/2014 09:16

Crap Gail, I'm so sorry Sad. I feel like we say the same thing to each other month after month, not good. Here's to next cycle bringing some congratulations!!!

Well I am delighted to report the squinter is slightly less today, so whatever it was or wasn't is not progressing thankfully. I imagine this kind of thing happens all the time and it's only with the advent of super early tests that anyone even knows some hcg was floating about.

I suspect my crappy eggs are to blame for things not working as they should. I was reading about a couple of supplements that can improve egg quality. Dhea and co enzyme q10 I think. I will have a better read over the weekend. OH and I are taking the maca root in a smoothie each morning. He is really enjoying it lol.

Weather here is crap. Anyone got any plans for the weekend?

Cakebaker35 · 25/04/2014 09:27

Sebs I'm liking your CUTO attitude! ICs are bloody buggers not that I stockpiled 40 of the bastard things to obsess over or anything.

Weekend wise I have a job to apply for. Fun times...
