The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

I'm not a big OPK user mainly because DH is on meds that come with a long list of side effects, including the oh so helpful 'ejaculation failure'. It probably only happens 20% of the time, but we need pressure-less, naturally occuring shags to guarantee the load gets shot!! Its frustrating, mostly for DH, but i think if i starting tracking my ov too closely, I'd be setting him up for a performance failure! Of course, I do a bit of gentle tracking and have a neat 28 day cycle mostly, when not in WTF cycle, so i do know when I'm likely to be most fertile...but we just have to have lots of regular sex and not think too much about dates. Funny that DH doesn't complain about that?!

The WTF cycle could easily be renamed as the headfuck cycle. I had so many random symptoms I was totally convinced I was upduffed.

Hello ladies could I possibly join you here? TTC #1 since September 2013, BFP Jan, MMC and ERPC Feb 2014. Wondering if / when cycle and hormones will ever feel normal and I might start to feel less crazy - WTF cycle indeed. But trying again straight away as might go even crazier if we don't.

Just a quick one. My levels only went to 400 and so I have been told to stop all my medication. Waiting to miscarry now, hope t is not an ectopic.

Thanks TeaRex yes definitely the hope but also being back at work with no one knowing I was ever pregnant and helpful comments from friends along the lines of 'well you got pregnant quickly so...'. Tbh just grateful to talk to people who understand! Glad AF showed for you eventually I'm only in wk 2 so a way to go yet

I had a whole heap of 'helpful comments' from my sister this week along the lines of 'you'll be fine''you got pregnant so you'll get pregnant again'. I asked her if she knew it had taken me 7 months to fully pregnant, she said no, looked shocked then launched back into 'you'll be fine'. I know everyone means well but arrrrgh.

They do mean well and I'm doing my best to be nice about it. Bless her but my mother suddenly seems to endlessly encounter women who had MC then healthy pregnancies...and I can't explain why that doesn't matter because they didn't just lose this, particular baby. All the same would like to shut myself away for the weekend with a vat of wine!
