Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture!

I was just thinking I haven't seen any fb scan pictures in a while.... and the BHAM! 5 minutes ago... she's been married like 5 firking minutes....

OH and I have like ONE baby name for a boy, that we both don't hate. ONE. His best friend and wife had a baby boy on Monday night. GUESS WHAT ITS CALLED.

gRAGR.

I'm still on the choccy wine diet from my last ERTD I think.... never quite got back round to healthy eating again this month.... Hmm

RPopz · 26/02/2014 20:25

P.S sorry for jinxing you lil! ;-(

DulcetMoans · 26/02/2014 20:35

Disagree away lil, understand the reasoning as had the same discussion with doc. Thats when she said stick to CD21. Actually went on CD23 and clinic told me to do it again on CD21 when it was low. Just be prepared to go again if level insnt right min, but do what you think best reflects your cycle.

Someone else told me it was baby boom time, looks like you can all testify to that. Not had an announcement for a while but plenty of beautiful baby photos to look at!

Treats all round, cheer us up!

DaleyBump · 26/02/2014 20:52

Wilhelminanevillesdottir · 27/02/2014 19:54

Well done Lil.

I still don't have ERTD. Can't decide whether to go to the shop to buy a test. I suppose I could buy wine and a test and then it's a win either way. Although that may look quite bad. Grin

Nessalina · 27/02/2014 20:10

Brilliant idea! Grin
God, I want a glass of wine!

DulcetMoans · 27/02/2014 20:37

Great plan wil!

Sorry you have had a visit again lil but hopefully he good exam news has helped make it easier to deal with. Malteasers help too.

I'm sure the others will find us at some point, with BFPs maybe!

Wilhelminanevillesdottir · 27/02/2014 20:54

God I really want wine now too. Why did I mention it? I'm going to wait until tomorrow because at least then I can get a lie in on Saturday morning if I end up drinking the whole bottle. I'm working my way through a pizza instead.

Redshoes56 · 27/02/2014 20:59

Red is here....I have been having the most craptastic week ever, the tales from which I will regale you all later, that was just capped off with the worst news possible from my IVF nurse -- both embryos are abnormal Sad My husband and I were actually out to lunch together when we got the call, and we just stared at each other trying not to cry in the restaurant. I am in my office with the door closed crying. I need you to all tell me not to give up!

Immediate plan: Make an appearance at coworker's goodbye party, go home -- buying ice cream and cake en route.

Long term plan: No effing clue. Phone consult with my doctor next Friday.
