Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

I have a short luetal phase going from when I notice OV symptoms. Seems to be ok for me though when I fell pregnant with DS2 I ovulated around day 21

Wilhelminanevillesdottir · 14/03/2014 20:43

Have no idea when I'm due something but am assuming it will be April at some point Sad. I'm getting impatient already.

Also am I the only person having to put up with shitty weather? have you all been sunning yourselves whilst I am putting up with drizzly greyness? No fair.

Hi Lotsa fx for the weekend.

Mich how did the interview go?

RPopz · 14/03/2014 20:47

Due on 2nd April so not much help sorry.

Started off gloriously sunny this morning and gradually got cloudier and foggy... now we have some kind of biblical wind... :-/

somethingwittynot · 14/03/2014 20:54

Lovely and sunny here in kent. Been doing housework today though booo!

ZylaB · 14/03/2014 20:58

Been nice and bright and sunny in Nottinghamshire the last few days, hope it continues!

DulcetMoans · 14/03/2014 21:53

Other way round for us here, started really foggy and cold but ended lovely.

Short LP here as well something, 10 days I think. But I won't be anywhere near excited/disappointed until April now. AF not left yet. Any success this month would mean baby due same week as nephews birthday, that might upset a few people but balls to them!

somethingwittynot · 14/03/2014 22:09

If I was to get lucky this month baby would he due in november. BiL, MILs and DN birthdays all november! I really dont want a jan or feb baby as DS1 is jan and DS2 feb x

ZylaB · 14/03/2014 22:56

dulcet sod if it coincides with other people's offspring! You're ttc so any birthday is fab if you ask me :)

Wilhelminanevillesdottir · 14/03/2014 23:21

They wouldn't mind would they Dulcet? I was due on my nephew's bday which I thought was quite nice. Babies hardly ever come when they're supposed to anyway.

DulcetMoans · 14/03/2014 23:22

Agreed! gone are the days when I tried to plan the birthday! This far down the line I just don't care when it arrives, so long as it gets here!

DulcetMoans · 14/03/2014 23:23

She was a bit put out when her sister in law was due day before her DS but don't think she would be too put out really. She's easily annoyed but doesn't last long!

MichonnesSamuraiSword · 15/03/2014 00:00

Helloooo Viroids,

Well the interview seemed to go well, but I won't know the outcome until next week, how crappy is that! My kickass boots really genuinely did help me feel more confident and in control, far better than if I'd been wearing something I felt rubbish in. So a weekend of torture not knowing ahead of me, ah well.

Re people being miffed if you timed your precious baby to fall on a birthday that's already taken - WTF? Balls to that, we don't have the luxury of choosing when we might be lucky enough to have a child , I'll take any day of the year thank you very much. Anyone who is miffed by something as ridiculous as that seriously needs to get a life.

I hope you're all happy and looking forward to the weekend. It's nearly icing time for me, but what with my interview cramming, and DP coming down with a spot of 'man flu' we've managed zero JSing this cycle... Ah well there's always next month!

LotsaTuddles · 15/03/2014 07:53

Lovely weather here in Kent all week. Looks a bit grey this morning, but I've been promised that's it's going to brighten up later. It better had because I want DH to sort our garden out today.

Well, the weekend's here. Let's see if my ERTD comes too

LotsaTuddles · 15/03/2014 08:00

Michones, DS was due on DH's cousins birthday and actually born on my sister and a really good friends DS's birthday. No one cares

Wilhelminanevillesdottir · 15/03/2014 08:39

Sounds good Mich. At the very least you have a new pair of boots out of it! You can join me in waiting for April.

Some people get annoyed at the slightest thing don't they? Usually people who don't quite understand they're not at the centre of everyone's universe.

Well I have to catch up on housework today as have been slack this week. But weather doesn't look good anyway. My wee one has only just woken up, bless her for giving me a lie in.

somethingwittynot · 15/03/2014 08:58

Off to see my parents later for dinner. Nothing beats my mums cooking!

RPopz · 15/03/2014 10:13

I've got a tonne of housework to do today and working again tomorrow :-(

DH "cleaned" the kitchen before he left for work this morning.... I SWEAR it is dirtier now than it was last night!!?! I could kill him sometimes....

DulcetMoans · 15/03/2014 12:00

Oh rpopz, I could get on board with the husband homicide sometimes. Usually I just want to cause him physical pain though. This weekend is a good example - rugby and F1 in the way of anything fun or productive!

Glad your interview went well mich, hope they tell you soon. The waiting is the worst - like in TTC! At least you are used to it I guess.

RPopz · 15/03/2014 12:28

I'd cause him much physical pain.... and then kill him!

And now the dog's just pissed on the kitchen floor. Winner.

LotsaTuddles · 15/03/2014 19:21

RPopz count me in for the husband murdering too. Mine does try occassionally but isn't very good at it, he kind of just moves things and stacks them in a different corner to the one they were originally in.

Well, no ERTD today, and no cramps or anything that I usually get the day before, so fingers crossed. I won't be POASing until at least Thursday though as my mum is coming to visit from tomorrow until Wednesday

Wilhelminanevillesdottir · 15/03/2014 19:55

At least he pretended to help RPopz. All mine has done is make a mess of everywhere I have tidied.

Lotsa how will you wait until Thursday? Can you not do some undercover POAS?

RPopz · 15/03/2014 20:02

I guess Wil. Doing half a job is just SO annoying.... I'd rather he didn't do it at all! I really hate him today which is unfortunate as I'm ovulating...

Hope ERTD doesn't arrive with your mother Lotsa!! Fx

LotsaTuddles · 16/03/2014 06:33

Ha. Will try to do one. But she's a PITA. The first sound from DS and she's up in our room (hopefully he'll wake up extra early at least one day, because then she should stay in her room). Thank you though.

DH does half a job too RPopz, he really likes to think he's good at houseworky things, but if he cleans the bathroom, he stacks everything from the bathroom out in the landing, and then leaves it there until I put it back days later realising that he's not actually going to out it back.

lalanic · 16/03/2014 06:48

This thread calls to me! May I join?

Minion · 16/03/2014 08:23
