Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture!

I've got a hangover and I didn't even have a drink last night... :-( Actually, after the last couple of days its prob withdrawal symptoms!! Oops...

Bad luck Dulce x

FurryScoob · 08/03/2014 13:06

Thanks ladies, still not got any real symptoms apart from sore nipples. Cramps are still scarring me so I'm being a lazy cow this weekend.

aylesbury sounds like a good nite!

dulcet good luck for next time.

Minion · 08/03/2014 13:16

dulcet it's so frustrating isn't it? I think the month of love has fooked our cycles up a bit tbh. I'm keeping fingers firmly crossed that it was just too early for you though.

Ladies, I'm so emotional this week, what with the witch Mia and I have the house to myself this weekend so I thought I'd have a movie Fest. A gal from work has recommended a website where you can watch new releases online, so today I started with frozen.
I cried.
Then, and I don't know what I was thinking really, seeing as though the book made me bawl, but I thought I'd give the book thief a whirl.
Big mistake. HUGE!

What's the chances of sobbing at gravity? I think that's next.

Nessalina · 08/03/2014 14:11

I cried at Gravity!! Grin

Nessalina · 08/03/2014 14:12

Trust your body Dulcet - if you think you're only 10dpo then you probably are! Give it 48hrs and have another go Smile It's not over yet!

Minion · 08/03/2014 14:40

Its a good job I've settled for meet the Millers then eh?
Phew

Wilhelminanevillesdottir · 08/03/2014 14:48

But is the Book Thief any good Min? I love the book.

Minion · 08/03/2014 15:27

As usual, the book is far superior, but its one of my favourites ever so i'm a bit biased, but yes its good.

And sad. Like, lip trembling, snot collecting on your top lip, sad.

MichonnesSamuraiSword · 08/03/2014 15:29

Sorry you were disappointed Dulcet but on the plus side, you're now down to your last IC, so you'll use it wisely.

I think my bag of 20 ics was both a blessing and a curse - you have so many you think nothing of poas at the drop of a hat, but it puts temptation in your way far more than if you had to actually go out to a shop to buy them each time.

Min I didn't find Gravity remotely sad, and I usually cry at everything. It's good. Tell us about The Book Thief, is it any good?

Hope you're not feeling too low. But I'm a great believer in having a good sob at some cheesy films to let it all out, then dusting yourself off and feeling better for it.

I'm feeling all headachey after eating too much sugar and caffeine. Might as well indulge as much as I like while I'm hosting the witch eh.

Chin up ladies, hope you're all ok

JuniperJones · 08/03/2014 15:40

Sorry for the disappointment dulcet but still early days.

What's this mystery website minion? I'm desperate to see Frozen but it's not out on the Netflix yet (The netflix being a Bridesmaids reference!)

Had a bit of a boring day, went out for lunch with friends and asked for a jacket potato with cheese and beans. Pretty straightforward you'd think? But it was vile! Out for dinner tonight too so seriously hoping the place we're going is good or I am going to be a bit cross.

ohfourfoxache · 08/03/2014 15:44

Try watching Rush - Chris Hemsworth always cheers me up Grin

And it's actually a really good film to boot - it's not a sobbing one!

(((Hugs))) Dulcet

Aylesbury I'm so jealous! I love cocktails, but I'm in the process of upping anti depressants so I really can't risk alcohol at all!

Minion · 08/03/2014 15:46

It's muchmovies.org
It's fab! Frozen was good but I loves a Disney movie. Titanic has just started too! What a Saturday to keep my mind off things.
The book thief is fab. It's narrated by death and it's about a girl called liesel in the 2nd world war. She loves books so is seen,by death, collecting books at important events throughout hr life. It's set in nazi Germany and Dan be quite hard hitting.

Girls who are upduffed, are your cramps the exact same as pms cramps then?

ZingSweetMango · 08/03/2014 15:58

just popping in to say thinking of all of you and sending positive vibes.

hugs to all who need it (hugs)

oh, and still happy to offer cape mending/updating services as well!Wink

JuniperJones · 08/03/2014 16:02

Thanks Minion I'll check that out!
Before I tested I was convinced the cramps were ERTD cramps, popping to the loo with pads etc. But then they went on for four+ days with no bleeding I got suspicious. I'm still getting the odd ones now but they tend to go away when I drink water. I was woken up by them one morning in the week and had to take paracetamol Sad but I still haven't had any bleeding. Today I've got general tummy area and a sore back. And I feel sick!

Minion · 08/03/2014 16:30

juniper do you feel it in your top of thighs every now and then?
Can u tell I'm getting anxious now haha?

lil1ady · 08/03/2014 16:37

hi zing. my cape is pineapple print this month. do u think it'll be lucky?

I'm not one for films really, much to dhs annoyance. I do want to see frozen though. we are heading to my bros to watch a movie tonight. not sure what yet tho

OP posts:
ohfourfoxache · 08/03/2014 16:45

I was on a top dose of one that isn't safe when ttc, put me on a tiny dose of a safer one but it's not enough so I'm up to a medium dose - which is apparently still safer than the one I was on! Unfortunately I can't go without them (psychiatrist has told me I'm likely to be on them for life). And don't be daft, I wouldn't tell you to shove off! I've only just joined so need to keep up the nice person act! Grin

Minion · 08/03/2014 16:54

lil I prescribe bed, choc and Disney to fully enjoy frozen. Jump that man of yours. Tell him he has no choice, the JSers say so!

I will not be swayed. (Ish)
But Monday can't come soon enough.

aylesburyduck · 08/03/2014 17:02

wil we (3 of us) are in trouble because our OH's all work together (we are the wags) and we wags went out to celebrate the engagement of one of us.

We got stuck into the wine (3 bottles) then we though oooh cocktails!!

Half a dozen cocktails later we decided to mix things up with a cup of tea (Grin we know how to roll) and then more cocktails.

We had been advised that we could ring a willing OH and we would be picked up to save us getting a taxi. We decided that because were having such a lovely time and that the pub still had alcohol we would carry on.

Then (and this is where things become a bit hazy) we went into town to a dodgy club. There is photographic evidence of us busting our funky moves, being generally disorderly outside the kebab van, and blurred memories of cobbling enough cash together to pay for the eventual taxi home.

Our respective partners are not happy at the noise we made trying to creep in at 3.00 am. Nor were they impressed at our drunken "I blurry lub you" comments as we crawled into bed. Finally it would seem that they were less than impressed to find half eaten kebabs in the kitchens.

We have been named and shamed on Facebook and we are all very very sorry for being naughty wags.

Oh well Grin

(next time we probably won't get a kebab on the way home)

x

JuniperJones · 08/03/2014 17:17

ayles sounds like a wonderful night! And at least it wasn't a worknight, which are the nights I usually get carried away with the booze.

minion I think you already know the answer to your question...how many days have you been crampy now?

FurryScoob · 08/03/2014 17:31

Ha ha tea in the middle of cocktail drinking aylesbury! You must of got some funny looks ordering that.

minion I've still got the odd period pain cramp. I've had a good chat with my mum this afternoon about them coz it's starting to scare me. Sorry not much help POAS is the only way to find out!

Minion · 08/03/2014 17:37

Yep.
I know.
I'm scared in all truth. Partly to see that awful single line all on its lonesome but wigging out in case it all becomes real.
I believe its been a week. But I had form for this for 7 months after coming off the evil pill. I'm just not allowing myself to get hopeful... Ish

Wilhelminanevillesdottir · 08/03/2014 17:39

Haha good work Aylesbury. At least you were all nice to your OHs when you got home instead of picking fights never do that when I'm drunk, no not me

Cramps were just the same as ERTD ones Min. Still getting them although they may actually come from back/hip issues and may not be pg related. Back is killing me today. Probably means I need to get off my arse.

ZingSweetMango · 08/03/2014 17:41

anyone wants to rub my belly for good luck?

minion fx for Monday!

lil pineapple cape sounds awesome
now I want to eat pineapples.

Minion · 08/03/2014 17:51

Now this will sound mildly pervy but... I'll give it a run zing
