It's the start of the next cluster diff...

CatsCantFlyFast · 12/02/2014 12:55

Did the clinic say anything to infer it may be Buglets (multiple) rather than high hormone levels from a singular Buglet? I can't remember what the expected levels are and whether there is overlap early on

MyNameIsWinkly · 12/02/2014 12:58

Fantastic news bugs, delighted for you :)

(PS all BESH should know from this, tesco piss sticks are shit!)

FrankelInFoal · 12/02/2014 13:00

So as not to freak Bugs, or anyone else for that matter, out, I've done a quick google that suggests "normal" HCG levels for a singleton pregnancy at this stage can range as high as 400 miu, so a high reading is not conclusive evidence of multiples.

Oh bugs that is fucking brilliant. Just fucking BRILLIANT. The manufacturer of that cunting stick you pissed on the other day should be battered to death with it. With weewee still on it too.

Quaaaaaaaaaadddddddddssssssssssssss. Fo'sho.

Nokkie73 · 12/02/2014 13:03

Tesco you say ? Every fucking little does not help. Cunts.

God, a good cyber swear is great.

FrankelInFoal · 12/02/2014 13:04

Wotcha Nokks, how is MiniNokks doing?

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 12/02/2014 13:05

Hurrah!!! Congrats bugs. No cp then... How many dpo are you? If you're panicking about twins, I can give you my ridiculous hcg levels at 16dpo: 980 (so that would have been something like 14 dpo 490, 12 dpo 245) and it is definitely only one in there. But, it was firmly in the could go both ways re: one or two!

Btw bugsie levels are predictive of on-goingness of pregnancy, so one or two, you are in with a good chance.

Nokkie73 · 12/02/2014 13:19

MiniNoks is grand ta franks. She is a chubby cheeked, greedy, wriggly nip chomping wonder. You next eh ?!!

hest am really keeping everything crossed for you too.

Fabuluce · 12/02/2014 13:46

Such good news today Smile have just heard that a lovely friend of mine has instadiffed. She's so lovely that I can't hate her for it but I am horribly jealous. My whole life would fall into place if only I could get knocked up. No fucking fair!

End of moan - nipple tassles returned, concentrating face on and an attempt to twirl tassles in opposite directions is commenced. Am slightly concerned that shitting myself (tmi??) may occur with this amount of strain...

Truffkin · 12/02/2014 14:17

Wonderful news Bugs, am keeping the ESH flame alight for the foreseeable to cheer on those Buglets to hold on in there. Am so pleased for you Smile

KatAndKit · 12/02/2014 14:46

Hurrah for the Buglets! I am so so delighted for you. I think with those levels you have no worry about chemical this time. Have everything possible crossed that scan will show at least one happy little embie growing away in your womble. Its been a long time since any ESHtwinz!

Fankletastic · 12/02/2014 15:16

By 'eck this fred moves fast!! Congrats Bugs that's bloody amazing! Enjoy being pregnant and hope all goes well.

Sounds like quite a few of you are diffed atm, which is v encouraging. Hope more to come...

My stats: Fankletastic (because I like the word 'Fankle as in 'to be in a fanckle' i.e. pickle) 34, quickly nearing 35; married to lovely DH, 35, for almost 3 years; started ttc in Sept 2011 and caught after 3 months...only to have m/c at 8wk in Jan 2012. Naively thought would be diffed again by now but no such luck. Blood tests, AMH test and HSG done throughout 2013 to reveal zilch...apart from slightly lower AMH. 3 failed cycles of Clomid (it's horrible stuff that Clomid). Gave up and asked for a laparoscopy as a friend (diffed friend, trying not to hate her) advised that she'd got diffed after her lap.

Had laparoscopy 2 weeks ago. They found some mild endo which they removed so that's something, right? Got AF (droid??) next day. Currently on CD14 and still getting flashing smileys on cb fancy pants opk (they were reduced in Boots last month).

Where to go from here is my main worry...obvs hoping the lap and hysteroscopy will 'flush out' my womble (love that) and do the trick but DH and I need to be realistic and decide what's best from here. Maybe try IUI or maybe go straight to IVF...maybe in the summer. Hmmmm

Cake Here you go MissH Newborns are the worst. I try to stay away from them if I can these days. That and instandiffs. My old housemate got married in October and she's already diffed and due in July. Seriously! That gave me the megarage for days.

...it is your turn bugs!! Can you actually fricken believe it yet? You must be so excited

HesterShaw · 12/02/2014 16:03

My sis was an instsdiffer. Twice. Both in the time I've been TTC. It's hard but I couldn't let that affect our relationship. We're the only non-deranged people in our family for a start.

I just went to the dump. Then, driving past Sainsbury's I felt a strong urge for cake. Two slices of carrot cake I'm feeling queasy and wondering if it counts towards my five a day.

HesterShaw · 12/02/2014 16:04

Just to clarify, that's TO the dump, not for a dump.

I know bugs. It's always a worry when you've been through mc before. It's been so long since I was pregnant I'd sort of forgotten about the need to exercise caution. But surely nipple tassles are in order? What about the cunt bunting...when does that come out? And when do you throw fish at one another?

Was this your first IVF? Did the process send you into madness?

Also interested to know everyone's thoughts on IUI vs IVF...? I've heard IUI is less successful but it's obviously less intrusive.
