Thanks bugs. I appreciate it.

I've just moved house and need to change doctor's surgeries, but poxy fucking insurance company have requested a GP report on an old health issue, and I have to hold off switching until that's all sorted out.

Upshot is that I don't have a doc at the moment.

In addition, like you, I'm scared of an early scan. I have one with the last pregnancy at 7 weeks and it was measuring 7 days small. Looking back, I feel like that was the first sign it wasn't working out. If it was measuring very small again, it would send me into a tailspin.

Despite ourselves, we have named it and started talking to it. There's a part of me saying, 'Stop it, you stupid twat, you know this one's going the same way.'

cletterthedishes · 02/03/2014 15:39

And now I have pink discharge. I can't deal with this. Sad

Fecking menkul! Oh to be innocent and naive to the menkul and just magically get diffed and have a healthy full term pregnancy. We are marred by our bad experiences. Hang in there and try to relax. Is it too woo to admit I do breathing exercises and yogic sleep to try to relax me? It sort of works...

Droid is here so at least my menkul has gone for a bit. It's almost a relief when it comes...but not for long. Having a nap- got pretty pissed last night and had fun dancing drunkenly with MG Smile

Sorry - double posted

Holds dish's toe for comfort, early scans are evil. I spotted from 5+2 til about 7+2 with this diffment. Longer than w the mc... Just rant as much as you need!

A very late hurrah for bugs good scan.

General gins all round for the hungover and those packing!

eurochick · 02/03/2014 16:36

I bled (not even spotted) for 3 weeks this time. When I mc'd I had a tiny bit of implantation bleeding around BFP time and then nothing until some time after no development had been confirmed by scans. So for me bleeding is meaningless.

Where did you go drizz?

cletterthedishes · 02/03/2014 17:02

Thanks hags. I just feel completely at sea. Whatever happens, short of mc, could be a normal thing or could be a bad sign and I have absolutely no idea which is which. I hate not knowing what's going on.

One piece of cunting bog roll has taken me from active DIYer with exciting new paint colours to sitting on sofa with puffy eyes and no will to move.

Do you have the telephone number of the Early Pregnancy Unit at your local hospital Dishy? They're the best people to talk to if you're worried, Google it if you're not sure.

Just to add to the stories, I bled at 7 weeks and managed to get a scan at the EPU a few days later. Bleeding in early pregnancy is surprisingly common, I was told that it's normally nothing to worry about unless it turns bright red/clotty. Mine was a bit pink, then darker red then brown and lasted a few days.

cletterthedishes · 02/03/2014 18:15

bugs, that made me a bit teary. The hormones are still there then Smile

frankel, I'll check it out tomorrow. Just moved to a new city so not sure what the facilities are here. Thanks for adding you story, it helps.

I'm off to check on Mr C, who is at the end of an heroic 8-hour wallpapering shift . . . then bath and nice dinner as suggested. See you tomoz fellow ESH x

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 02/03/2014 18:19

Hope dinner and bath have done you good, dishes!

It was a trip to the Alsace, euro! Planned pre-diffment! I ate lots and drove my dad and SB back after wine tasting... They've bought enough between them that I can taste a fair few after Lembie arrives :)

Hair strokes dishy, I've had a few bleeds this diffment and each one has paralysed me with fear. Fingers crossed this doesn't mean anything. Good luck.

eurochick · 02/03/2014 21:32

drizz that sounds lovely. We're just planning hollibobs now.

dish I'd say that 5+3 is too early. You'll only see a yolk sac and that won't mean much. By 6 weeks you should be able to see a heartbeat, so if you can hold on for a week, it'll give you a much better idea of how things are going. I hope you had a nice relaxing evening.
