I can't think anything - my mind is a whirl but a blank at the same time. I spent the day sanding - utterly mindless. MrH is being nice - he bought me some freesias and is cooking. We'll have some wine and watch the Olympics (yes I know I said I wouldn't watch it) and just not think.

I've dithered all night about whether to post on here because it seems like an intrusion. I'm not a stalkery lurker; by pure coincidence I posted yesterday on the thread Hester started a few weeks ago in Infertility, so you were on my radar so to speak. I happened to see your name as the last poster on a thread (this thread) in Conception yesterday afternoon and clicked on it, hoping to see good news after the other thread.

(I then spent most of yesterday evening and into the night reading back through BESH threads and just want to say you're a fucking amazing bunch of women, right? I never expected that a load of threads about anonymous people I don't know could make me laugh and cry - happy tears and sad ones - so much. I came to MN too late to join the BESH - we gave up trying six years ago - but I wish I'd found you, or your predecessors, when I was going through this crap myself.)

Anyway, rightly or wrongly I decided to post. So I just want to say, Hester, from one who was "left behind" - well, I just want to say that it's shit, it's not fair and I'm desperately sorry that you're having to go through this. The love and loyalty you've so clearly inspired in your friends here makes it obvious you must be a pretty special person.

It IS shit when the universe has other plans, I'm nowhere near the end of my journey but coming here has shown me that whatever the outcome I am not alone and am very glad of having you all here when no-one in RL comes near understanding!
