Hest the Peninsula Centre in Exeter were really good with me (plus you can stay with me locally if you wanted to persue that or you have a good network of Hags throughout the UK who would be glad to have you), and there are loans if you wanted to go down that route. I know things are hard with your family but would either set of parents help? Or maybe look into egg sharing if that could be an option to reduce costs. You don't need to make any decisions at the moment, you have enough on your plate right now, I just wanted to throw those things in there for musing on.

My sister said not long ago she would donate me eggs. I'm not sure about that. If the whole thing is because of immune issues there would be no point anyway. And I'm not sure I would feel good about her having three children technically and me still having technically none. It would be one more thing I risk resenting her about. And I don't think MrH would be keen. He struggles to like her anyway.

This may not be the day to think about this but I saw an article a couple of weeks back about Create trialling a new low cost version of ivf for around a grand a pop. I think they have a new outpost in Bristol. It might be worth considering once time has taken the edge off the pain.

Oh Hest, how devastating. The universe is a cruel bastard and fair doesn't seem to enter into the equation. It just fucking sucks.

All I will say though is my god the ESH do love you. Just look at all these people who care. Hopefully you can envelope yourself in some of that and nest down until you are ready to come out the other side. There will be another side, even if you cant imagine it yet, as this too shall pass as someone wisely once said. Doesn't stop it being fucking awful and painful at the moment but just that a different path for you may lie ahead that could be just as interesting as you imagined this one to be. As the other hags said. Be kind to yourself, be kind to your other half and make sure he's kind to you too. Recovery time is needed.

Right I'm going to shut up now as I'm probably sounding dangerously woo and as we all know....

hest, promise us you will ask for anything you think might make things easier for you at the moment. Even if you think it is unreasonable. Even if you think you should be able to cope on your own. There is a whole host of us who love you and would be pretty well honoured to be allowed to do stuff for you.
