The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

If ever I need a giggle, this thread never fails! Planter tub fannies and flying moggys (shouldn't laugh at that one really).
50 times is ridiculous, he can't actually be firing anything of any use!! But fair play! There's no way I could do that.
The 3 day stint doing SMEP is enough!!

Sal1977 · 12/02/2014 21:09

I think the only thing guaranteed after 50 shags on the trot is a bladder infection!

Triplespin · 12/02/2014 21:47

You lot are so funny!! Definitely lifts my spirits. So who all is poas tomorrow?

champagnegoldfinch · 12/02/2014 23:27

otters, it was not the TITH I was querying, but the for fun business that goes on in the Hobart house. Madness I tell you!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 13/02/2014 05:48

Oh well, after convincing myself that I was having more symptoms than I do with AF I am convinced I am going to come on in the next couple of days Sad. I hate this. I just want to be pregnant again and actually have a baby. Is this what it's going to be like every month?

Justonemoretime · 13/02/2014 07:03

My temp has dropped, so af won't be far away. Due tomorrow. We have decided to take a month off from this misery and go to get NK cells tested by prof Quenby in Coventry. At least well be able to rule it out and apparently the procedure increases fertility for 3 months.
Hope the witch doesn't get you Donna!

DoctorDonnaNoble · 13/02/2014 07:07

I'm due tomorrow too - I've had a dull ache since early this morning - but, it's lower than my usual AF pains and I still have really painful boobs. So, basically, if AF does show it means my PMS is now worse post-MMC. Great.

Justonemoretime · 13/02/2014 07:12

I think pg changes your boobs and also you become more aware of your body. My PMS is worse (or I'm more acutely aware of every tiny twinge) post MCs. Sad

DoctorDonnaNoble · 13/02/2014 07:18

Thanks - at least I know I'm not going mad! Just wish I wasn't more aware and that PMS symptoms weren't so similar to early pregnancy symptoms! Seriously unfair!

Penguin13 · 13/02/2014 07:24

Sorry to hear AF is probably on her way Just. It never gets any easier. I hope taking a month break from TTC gives you a chance to regroup

Fingers crossed that your could be pg could be af symptoms go the right way for you Doctor.

Parsley2506 · 13/02/2014 08:00

You're not out till the witch shows! I think we need to plaster that in the rules somewhere next thread! I really hope you're both wrong just and doctor.

just were you referred for that test or have you self referred?

Anyone else POAS tomorrow? I'm about a week off going by last 2 cycles and nary a symptom in either direction.

OttersPocket · 13/02/2014 09:30

Morning everyone - has anyone POAS yet? Everything crossed for those who are today.

50 TITH sessions in a month is bloody painful ridiculous, I'm chuffed DP and I have followed smep so far and we're only on CD 9! And I'm glad today is a no TITH day!!

Last nights dinner was actually okay in the end. One of the girls is definitely upduffed. She wasn't drinking, ordered a steak well done and was rather puffy of face. I'm glad she didn't confirm it though, I need that news on a one to one basis. But I drank some wine and skillfully steered the conversation away from chat of babies so it was all good. I think I'm starting to feel a bit stronger about handling my emotions, a month ago any talk of children had me on the verge of tears. It's progress I guess Hmm Smile

Right, come on girls. We need some BFP's today Grin

OttersPocket · 13/02/2014 09:31

Oh SHIT BUGGER ARSE!! I totally thought it was Friday today Blush Confused Blush

Ignore me, and keep your POASing until tomorrow when it is actually Friday.

EnglishGirlAbroad · 13/02/2014 09:46

Glad it went well Otters, love the posifrickintivity!!! Think it certainly gets easier, I think until we get our sticky BFPs there'll always be an undercurrent of pain but time does heal a bit!

Wish it was Friday!!! Wink

MissHobart · 13/02/2014 11:23

Champagne - it is madness I tell you! Missing OV and shouting at OH for the reasons why saved my sanity and had put me in a good place for relaxation and just having fun! I even shaved my legs and defuzzed my foof last night in preparation for more fun laden TITH today! Shock Grin

Well done Otters ! It's crazy that we can spot an upduffed from a Mile away these days, I've "known" about each of the recent one's in my life way before any announcements! Hmm

DoctorDonnaNoble · 13/02/2014 13:12

It looks like I might be poas tomorrow - no progress towards AF yet.

EnglishGirlAbroad · 13/02/2014 13:13

Fx for you Doctor, how many dpo are you??

DoctorDonnaNoble · 13/02/2014 13:29

no idea as we're trying to be relaxed but AF is due tomorrow.

Parsley2506 · 13/02/2014 15:55

doctor this is your second cycle post MC right? Fx for you tomorrow.

missh where are you off to?

MissHobart · 13/02/2014 16:49

Not off anywhere! Confused

Defuzzing is such a rare occurrence it's a celebration in itself! Blush Hmm Grin

DoctorDonnaNoble · 13/02/2014 17:22

Missh - love the attitude! :)

Thanks, Parsley. I was pulling some interesting faces in my last lesson today. I kept getting pains in my boobs. God knows what the boys thought. It is indeed my second cycle post MC. Last bfp (only one) was on fourth cycle of trying. Felt really vague and woozy ALL day today.

Parsley2506 · 13/02/2014 17:32

MissH, sorry, I didn't mean to imply that tidy fanjo = only for holibobs! I thought I remembered you saying up thread somewhere about going away for the weekend - must have been someone else!

otters I'm turning in to a pg bloodhound too, wish I was able to practice this awesome skill on myself Hmm

Visiting bf and her newborn this weekend, actually looking forward to it. I love babies, (which is a good thing seeing as I want one!) but the whole MC thing has left me hiding from them wherever possible which is just so messed up but we all know why!
It was bf's birthday last week too, so I've got her some nice pampery stuff and going to take a big lasagne or similar for her to bung in the freezer for when they need it.

Penguin13 · 13/02/2014 18:50

That is a lovely thoughtful idea re the lasagne Parsley. If you accidentally make too much I am happy to take some off your hands Grin . Good to hear you're looking forward to the visit rather than dreading it.

Eeeee Doctor I am getting hopeful on your behalf. Good luck for the POAS party tomorrow!

Parsley2506 · 13/02/2014 19:08

Ps doctor are you a teacher? As long as you refrained from boob prodding hopefully they didn't even clock the weird faces! Wink

Justonemoretime · 13/02/2014 19:09

I'm self referring to this clinic. It's a bit expensive, but I think I'd rather know, and I can ask about short AFs while I'm there, too.

Good luck for any poas-ers for tomorrow. I've had some slight pinkish spotting so I reckon I'm out.
