The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Congratulations fedup! Such lovely news for a Monday Smile wishing you a happy and in eventful pregnancy and I hope that the EPU can be helpful for you.

Hollyben 79 days would have killed me. I've spent the last couple of weeks being convinced I was late cos I was upduffed!! So I'm glad to be out of my misery at 40 days.

English I hope your wtf cycle also comes to an end soon. Hopefully with a bfp! But either way I feel better just having the hope that I might have a more normal cycle next time. There's hope, right?!

fedupofrainydays · 03/02/2014 17:51

Thanks girls. Your support is always the best and love how we help each other through the irrational moments, bad ones and there to celebrate the good! I'm trying to clng on to the posifrickintivity but I feel very scared and knicker watch has begun.

missh any strange / unusual animal behaviour is a clue... So sounds promising.

TITH all the way Grin

Penguin13 · 03/02/2014 17:52

Congratulations fedup. I can imagine how scared you must be. One step in front of the other, one day at a time.

I shall be looking out for purring pregometer predictions when I get to that stage although I seem to remember ours was as unimpressed as usual last time.

TeaRex · 03/02/2014 18:06

Congratulations fedup best wishes for the next 9 months :)

EnglishGirlAbroad · 03/02/2014 18:14

Of course there's hope deus! Don't give up! You will get your sticky bfp! All the bfps on here are proof that it will happen. Smile

Parsley2506 · 03/02/2014 18:41

fedup that is brilliant news but understandably equally terrifying for you. Let your GP/EPU do your medical hand holding, and let us/graduated MCers do the psychological hand holding. Everything is crossed for a big fat sticky bean for you!

I just spent the day at Windsor Castle with niece and nephew. Days out with them always remind me how wonderful it is to be an Aunty - you get to give them back at the end of the day when they turn into little monsters! Haha!

All this pet symptom spotting made me laugh. One of my cats is constantly in my face 24/7 so I guess I should wait for her to ignore me. Or I can wait for the (ever so slightly sociopathic) other cat to start getting cuddly. Hmm!

CD13 - CBFM still just saying 'high'. Going by my new fangled 32 day cycles I should expect OV a bit later this week. TITH tonight regardless!

Glad the WTF cycle is over deus. Time to get crack a-lackin!

MissHobart · 03/02/2014 18:43

As for the knicker watching I've found myself doing this every time I go to loo, every, time, I chalk this up to the 12 months ttc and 2 mc Hmm

starfish99 · 03/02/2014 18:54

hi all. I'm hopping aboard after a mmc in Jan. not been on a conception thread before but you sound like a lovely bunch. fingers crossed for 2014 babies for us all. Had a read through of the thread for the last couple of days and am curious - what does tith stands for?!

fedupofrainydays · 03/02/2014 19:11

It was only a matter of time before someone asked this... Toad in the hole!!! In all interpretations of course Wink

Sorry you are here starfish. This is a good thread though and welcome. I hadn't even been on a conception / mumsnet thread at all til I had my first mc at 12 weeks in feb last year, and these guys and the grads have supported me through a whole year (plus another sodding mc in dec last yr).

funkymonk · 03/02/2014 19:34

Congratulations fedup and welcome to starfish. I posted once a week or so ago but have not called in since.

Is there a list of group members anywhere and their current predicaments?

This is my second cycle since mmc (2nd miscarriage in a row god damnit). Cycle day 15 today. Usually ovulate day 17 (before mc so feck knows when it will be now). Little concerned as had some bleeding on days 12,13,14. Def not ov bleeding as too much for that and too early- well I've not had a +ve opk yet anyway. I really really would like to not have screwed up cycles now. Already been ttc#1 since Nov 2012 and at least have had regular cycles to work with!! Anyone got any experience of dodgy bleeding mid cycle after mc???
Thanks!

Triplespin · 03/02/2014 19:35

Fedup that is fantastic news. Fx for a sticky bean!

hollyben I am the same with very light periods now. Don't get sore nipples but do get sore boobs now which I never did before mc.

Sorry I have not been around but had a manic weekend and now very busy start to the work week

OveranxiousUnderated · 03/02/2014 20:01

Popping in to say yayyy to fedup Thanks crossing my fingers for you x

fedupofrainydays · 03/02/2014 20:18

Thank you and over hello!

hollyben I also have sore boobs from ov to af and never had before the first mc. Did my head in. The only difference with my bfps were itchy boobs (the one in nov that ended in mc) and pricking in my boobs this month that made me think... Hmmmm. Totally did my head in as everyone is like oooooh sore boobs = pregnancy but not in my case. In a weird way I made use of it as a signal that I had ovulated once I stopped temping.

TeresaGreene · 03/02/2014 20:18

Balls... I just typed a long post and lost it! Cutting to the chase, many congrats fedup, these are for you Thanks. Also champagne thanks for your advice but how do I go about tracking my temperature? Do I have to take it at the same time every day? Sorry for all the questions Blush.

Tadpole2013 · 03/02/2014 20:19

Thanks parsley. I'm on CD 14. Thankfully have a doctor's appt tomorrow.

Congratulations fedup! Here's to a boring pregnancy! :-)

starfish99 · 03/02/2014 20:56

toad in the hole. that's hilarious!

Handsfullandlovingit · 03/02/2014 21:15

Ooh fedup that IS news. Tiny jump for joy? We are doing a v good holding each others' trembling hands on the Oct repeat mc thread if you dare venture over there any time.

I had leftover tith heated up for my lunch.

hollyben I had sore boobs all over the cycle since mmc. Toddler wrangling much less pleasant. Its a head mess up all right. Weren't you the one doing frog jumps with your little one some time back?

Parsley2506 · 03/02/2014 21:25

fedupofrainydays · 03/02/2014 21:44

Hopefully there will be many more bfps soon, all this cat and TITH action makes me thing there will be. I'm trying to stay posifrickintive and will be keeping my chin up and sticking my tits out for each little step of the way.

Going to do another test tomorrow morn as not entirely sure I believe it.

Justonemoretime · 03/02/2014 22:18

Just wanted some toast and then had is some. Poked boobs near cat. Shock

MissHobart · 03/02/2014 22:27

I'm going to surprise OH with TITH (both ways) on Wednesday! Wink

He won't know what's hit him! Grin

furryewok · 03/02/2014 22:37

HA! Who came up with TITH? Genius but think I've put the hubby off dtd! In the limbo 2ww so I'll let him b tonight!

Congrats to all the grads.xx

never thought I'd get useful tips on farrow and ball colours on here - nice :)

Seasides · 04/02/2014 08:15

To add to the F&B tips - did you know Leyland Johnstones colour-match exactly to F&B? Not like Dulux half arsed matching, they actually have the chart and mix it up for you. I'm not employed by them! I just didn't know until our painter told us. Half the price, and way easier to paint with.

Back on subject...so, yesterday my temps dipped, and today they're back up, but yday was only 5dpo. That'll just be a wibble, right? My paranoia is that it's an implantation dip in my tube, because it's too early for womb. But it's more likely just to be a wtf, says the sane side of my brain.

OttersPocket · 04/02/2014 09:44

Fedup that's fantastic news, I understand your nervousness but let us be excited on your behalf Smile

Loving the cat chat! My little monster is very attached to me, so much so that DP is worried about the safety of our future children as she is incredibly possessive of me, even with him. If she starts ignoring or hissing at me I'll take that as a sure fire sign of being upduffed Grin

CD2 for me today and feeling a lot more positive than yesterday damn hormones Going to start popping my Clomid today and vits and cough medicine and snake oil and fx that it does the job this month.

TITH will be served up soon around here!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 04/02/2014 10:12

This wtf cycle is screwing with me! If according to FF I did ovulate, I'm 11dpo. Did a ic this am, BFN. Did an ic OPK, line is nearly as dark as the test! I'm in cd thirty fucking six!!
What's going on?!!!! Really not sure how much of this stupid cycle I can take. Feeling very crap today, every time I feel there's a light at the end of the tunnel, it disappears!!
