Evening all!!

I'm ttc #2 aswell fankle.

I am feeling slightly better this evening. My hand isn't hurting as much and hasn't spread anymore so I think the antibiotics are finally working.

It's my weigh-in on my diet tomorrow and I'm hoping for a loss, even if it's just a pound. I've bought chocolate chip and maple syrup pancakes for tomorrow, pizzas and white bread for ham sandwiches. Then I''ll start again Monday!! Lol!!

So Wuthering I will be popping on here first thing in the hope that you've got your bfp!!

I'm sending loads of positive baby-dust around. We used to do that on the ttc threads over 5 years ago and they were successful threads, so it's time we start doing it.

ginger yes officially tww now though more like 12day wait for me. Bfp due 18th.

katniss i started SW start of feb. Lost 7lbs in 3 weeks then cheated nothing since. 1lb on last week. Grr. Need to get a grip. Had massive spud with butter and cheese last night, then warmed up a double choc muffin and had it with ice cream!!!

I feel like we have put in a much better effort this month but then think I will be much more disappointed if i don't get a bfp.

Well tested first thing (mornings are manic aren't they!) and BFP!!!! Hooray! Hopefully this is the start of a lucky streak for all of us. Trying not to get too excited because it's very very early days but not managing much.

Glad you're feeling better Katniss and enjoy those treats! Good luck with the weigh in.

Katniss - I conceived whilst in the middle of a course of two different types of antibiotics (which is why bfp came as such an extra surprise). Spoke to doc who said there were no risks and it could even have helped as the drugs may have lowered body's natural defense system to invaders, if you know what I mean?! Not sure if that is true but the drugs themselves didn't get in the way of conception.

I'm still getting the belly pains on and off. Dizziness has stopped and feeling sick isn't quite so bad so I'm convinced I'd just picked up a viral thingy. Funnily enough my boobs are not sore which they always are on the lead up to AF but I know bodies can be cruel so I'm thinking mine is trying to trick me

Really want a bfp more for dh's sake than for mine. He's quite down at the moment mainly because his parents are being shits........a long story which I'll bore you with another time..........so a bfp would really cheer him up.

I'm also trying to lose weight but this week I've had pancakes, a donut, pie, flapjack, chocolate although I have got an excuse for that as I couldn't refuse a chocolate nest with mini eggs that the children at work had made for me! I've also eaten lots of bread so not good but I will try harder next week

Mmmmm. You're post is making me hungry mampam, we'll post food fest/2wk residential course and AF I've lost 2.5 pounds this wk which is a result! My work trousers were so tight I was bordering on camel toe! , not a good look. Anyone doing anything exciting this weekend? I'm off to pals house in an hour to meet her baby!

Hi Gingerbread camel toe never a good look! [Grin] Sorry to have made you hungry with my list of naughties.....haha. Have just had a feta and olive salad for my dinner so getting back on track.

I think my AF is due on Tues/Wed but as it has been irregular since November I'm not really sure. Have bought 30 cheapy tests from ebay, POAS this morn but bfn will test again on Wed unless AF shows up beforehand.

How did it go meeting your friends baby? We've not done anything exciting so far this weekend just enjoyed the sunshine in the garden

We've had a busy day! Dd and I went to a 2nd birthday party this morning and then met up with a load of her friends from school and their mums this afternoon at a local pub with a big outside play area. We all sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine - it was lovely!!

Tomorrow dd has another horse-riding lesson followed by lunch at my sister's pub. Dd is really excited because her childminder and her daughter are coming to watch her and come to lunch with us.

No real ttc news. I think I'm only 7dpo so wouldn't expect anything yet.

Glad to hear of the bfp wuthering. Congrats. How long have you been ttc? Let's hope that this is the start of a trend but I personally don't have a track record that inspires particular hope. Statically, I wonder if my chances are actually getting lower each month.

But enough of that negativity! Have been having a delightful busy weekend so not had chance to keep up to date. How lovely is this spring sunshine?! Makes me feel rather cheery

Am trying to get my head in a more sane more chilled out place this cycle. We shall see how that goes....

DH started world war 3 in this house today by switching the broadband off and making teenage dd go outside for some sun and fresh air as you can imagine it went down like a lead balloon! Apart from that, had a lovely day spent in the garden. Back to normality tomorrow and I'm still filling in the blimmin application form for a new job....... find it so hard trying to sell myself.
