I am a believer in a line being a line and if there was a line despite all the liquid intake then it really will be a BFP tomorrow dino :)

Cd39 here and have had cramping feelings yesterday and today. Had loads of cm since the weekend and just don't know what to think. Given that my last 2 cycles were 41 and 45 days long, part of my head is hoping that my first batch of cm was ovulation and that this could be implantation and stretching starting, and that it might be worth POAS not that I have any here yet. Another part of me is wondering if the cm this week is a very late ovulation, but that would mean potentially a 53 day cycle? I have no idea how likely it is to have a cycle that long?

On a separate matter, can we have lots of brooking please. I have been trying to sell my house for a while, and had a call today, someone accepted an offer on theirs yesterday from an uncomplicated first time buyer and apparently my house is top of their list, and numbers have already been banded about between them and my agent today although I have no idea how seriously to take all this, they haven't even viewed it yet! Timing would be fab as I have a job interview next week for what sounds like my dream job in the area I want to move to. All feels too good to be true but I really want it to be as after the awful year we've had with my dad it would be amazing to live close by to them.

Geek how does it work with IVF, do they do blood tests to check if successful or do you have to wait to do a urine test like usual?

Geek lovely, well done!!! How are you feeling? Hurry up Saturday x

Dino Shock congratulations!!

Brooking for your house Loopy

Hope the job is going well Cups. Any sign of AF?

Loopy, my last one was about 50 days! I think there's no limit to how barmy cycles could be. I've heard people often say "oh, I missed a period" - i.e. that their cycle effectively doubled - which would be 46 days, so I doubt it's that strange.

Brooking for the house too!

Desperate to get house hunting here, but can't do anything until we get a BFP.. argh.

I am also of the opinion that a line is a line Dino

Oh - yes - could be a ridiculously large egg I've just laid Wink Think we've already done well with two sets of Brooking twins though! That said, isn't Purple the next suspected twin one? :)

musical, although this is our first cycle properly TTC and being a bit more active about it, we've not used contraception since before I was pregnant with DD1. Anyway, I'll be back tomorrow with a more definitive answer, and even if it is a BFP, it would be very, very early days.

loopy, that sounds really encouraging about the house. I hope it all works out for you.

Oh, geek, this is very very exciting! How is your mum coping with it all? Is she a good support to you? Sounds like it.

See you tomorrow morning!

We'll. nothing more to report. Still a faint line on an IC, so not going to call it either way yet. Might use a proper test in a few days.

Is MIL's visit welcome, keep? I have a very nice MIL but not sure I could manage a weekend without DH with her.

keepitgoing · 24/01/2014 07:57

Yay for a line, Dino! And the line I saw on FB was a very definite line, IMO.

Geek, how are you feeling today? Excited or petrified about tomorrow?

Cups, how are you getting on?

Loopy, when can these nice people come and see your house? Sounds promising!

Musical, have you happened to to pee anywhere in the vicinity of a stick recently? Or do you think you need to wait a bit longer?

Report
musicalmrs · 24/01/2014 15:39

Definitely a definite line Dino :)

Geek, good luck for tomorrow! Will be brooking lots for you, and will catch up as soon as I can if I get a gap in my mad teaching day.

Too, not yet. I'm technically CD25, but strongly suspect I ovulated at the beginning of this week, so a while yet - no testing until February for me, if AF doesn't put in an appearance. How're you?!

Thanks musical enjoy your teaching day, sounds fun! I start choir leading in early March so might be asking for some tips Grin

too I was ok until about five to five today, then had a major wibble that OMFG egg collection is like tomorrow, as in less than 24 hours time, what if they get fewer than 8 eggs, what if they get no eggs, wibble wibble. Need to get up at stupid o clock tomorrow to get to the clinic on time so will be aiming for an early night so that I can lie awake worrying for longer

keep crikey lovely, how are you faring? Hope both you and MIL are still alive Grin

dino at the risk of repeating myself, congrats!!! A line is a line is a line, as they say

loopy good luck with the potential buyer, it all sounds very positive. Will this give DH a bit of confidence to go ahead with TTC? I'm afraid even with IVF there is still the 2ww. Some clinics insist on a blood test, mine just tell you to bring in a sample of wee two weeks after egg collection. Obvs, there will be a stick or two wee'd on in the GeekCave first Grin

Oooh choir leading Geek? That sounds exciting! The whole choir, or a section? Choirs are the best type of ensemble ever. So passionate and powerful! (I may be biased as I'm working with a wonderful choir at the moment, who are doing a fabulous job singing my music!)

Brooking lots and lots :)

I'm up and waiting for MrG to be ready so we can head off. Even the cats are moaning that it is too early (well, one of them is - the other is still off fast asleep somewhere!)

Op will be between 7.30am and 8am. Just need it to be over now before I get my head around how scared I am.

Thanks for all the well wishes, they really do mean the world xxx

Good luck Geek, fingers crossed they get lots of good eggs!

Geek, DH is fully on board re ttc now, thankfully his wobble didn't sat long, he had a chat with someone at work who has 3 children and as a result came home very much in a mood for ttc lol, so no nagging needed in the end :). Today is cd41 and I have had cramps for last 3 days, and have tender boobs so i think either I have ovulated this week or implanted. My bbt is unclear so hard to be sure as to what/when. So I could test early next week if I ovulated when had first patch of cm, or I might only just have entered the 2ww. What Internet cheapies do you all use and how many dpo before they are likely to work?

Dino are you going to do a proper test today?

House stuff ongoing, they want to view but only if they think we would accept a lower offer. So have been trawling the net to find a house I might want to buy, as I need to then work out if I can afford to buy it based on a low offer on mine. My mortgage is an amazing lifetime tracker with a massive reserve facility so I can't look elsewhere and need to stick to the borrowing limit set by them. Have found a possible house, good plot but the house is too small, don't suppose anyone has any idea as to how much a two storey side extension costs?

geek, hopefully you are all done and dusted now so I'm hoping it went really well. Brooking for a good result today! When do they let you know what has happened with the eggs?
