Munxx · 25/01/2014 11:12

That's great news Geek I'm so blimmin' chuffed for you!

dino I must apologise as I thought I had congratulated you yesterday! but it appears I did not. Please accept my feeble attempt at an Imps display however.

DinoSnores · 25/01/2014 11:23

16!!! Amazing, geek! Well done to you and Mr Geek. Hope you have something nice planned for this evening to keep your mind off things.

musicalmrs · 25/01/2014 17:22

Geek, 16 is amazing! Brooking lots for them to do their stuff Smile

Loopy, mine are some from Amazon. Don't know how sensitive as they are as I've not had a BFP yet Wink I wanted some cheap ones while my cycle gets back to normal- was testing weekly at one point so wanted cheap ones!

SantaMaybe · 25/01/2014 18:32

Oh Geek lovely, this is amazing news. Well done x can't wait to hear about the call. Brooking like nobody's business xxx

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 26/01/2014 06:51

16 is a massive number geek, hope you get plenty of good ones. Is the plan to freeze the spares for future siblings?

Cd42 here, my two cycles were 41 and 45 days, so POAS this morning but BFN, temps haven't fallen so I don't think AF on her way yet so I think this all means the cramps this week were ovulation and that I may have ovulated on cd40 as had a temp dip that morning. So if AF hasn't turned up in the meantime I guess I will be testing again in 12 days time. Which will make it a mammoth 54 day cycle by then...not liking this as if we don't fall quickly, that's only giving us 7-8 cycles per year. Is there anything that I can take to shorten my cycles?

keepitgoing · 26/01/2014 07:58

brooking for geek's fertilisation

loopy I think some people take soy isoflavenes from boots. but it can muck up cycles so I'd probably not. are you still bf? if it takes 6m maybe then cut down?

No keep, not breast feeding anymore, ds2 just refused to feed for me in the last week of November when he was approaching 15 months and that was it, he wouldn't feed at all from then :(

ControlGeek · 26/01/2014 10:01

One has fertilised. They are putting it back in tomorrow providing it survives the night.

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 26/01/2014 10:21

Brooking for the Geeky emby Thanks

SantaMaybe · 26/01/2014 10:22

Brooking extra hard for you Geek x

musicalmrs · 26/01/2014 10:29

Loopy, I think it just takes time for cycles to normalise. This is where I've found OPKs handy - cd27 here but I'd have been wondering when AF would arrive if I hadn't known I've probably ovulated a week later than expected.

Geek, brooking so so hard for you and GeekEmby. Thinking of you.

keepitgoing · 26/01/2014 10:44

brooking harder than ever x

Munxx · 26/01/2014 11:14

Brook brook brooking for you Geek

DinoSnores · 26/01/2014 15:39

Brooking lots geek.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 26/01/2014 18:06

Brook brook brooking for GeekEmby too. Couldn't more of the eggs fertilise today? I thought eggs/sperm lived up to 5 days.

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 26/01/2014 18:56

Sorry that only one fertilised geek, have everything crossed that it is good for tomorrow

BeedlesPineNeedles · 27/01/2014 06:15

geek so sorry I haven't been here to give you some support, I hadn't even been on mumsnet since the middle of Dec. I'm really hoping that your little emby has survived the night and will be back making itself comfy later today. I have everything crossed for you.

Congratulations to all those whose bfps I have missed, I have read back but I don't want to get the wrong names.

cups was it you starting stimming again soon? I have everything crossed for you too.

Well life has been quite hideously stressful here, over the last few months, not really fertility related so I won't go into details. Anyway in happier news we should be doing our FET later this week so I have been busy peeing on expensive opks waiting to get a smiley face. We only have 1 frosty so theres only about 70% chance that we'll get to transfer something. But as its a natural cycle its been relatively easy so far.

Anyway love to you all and sorry I've been away for so long.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 27/01/2014 06:41

Oh too sperm can theoretically live up to 5 days but eggs only survive about 24 hours. Though having said that my clinic downright refuses to give any information the day after ec as they say they can't be sure that nothing more will happen. During my first cycle 1 of the eggs that got put back had done nothing by the time they checked it on the first day.
Though not knowing doesn't really make things any easier.

keepitgoing · 27/01/2014 07:30

hi beedle have been thinking about you. how exciting you're having your fet. some stats show better success rates than with fresh. are you just using ov sticks then popping it back on the right day, or will you trigger? are you smacking that rat anyway just to up your chances? Wink wishing you all the luck in the world sweetheart. third time lucky x

musicalmrs · 27/01/2014 08:30

Still brooking lots for you Geek.

Beedle, lovely to see you. So sorry to hear you've had such a tough time recently. Brooking lots for the FET though- how exciting. How does it work- does it all happen when you get the smiley face?

SantaMaybe · 27/01/2014 08:40

Beedle it's so lovely to see you. Sorry to hear life has been stressful, but great news about the FET. brooking so very hard for you lovely x

Brooking for you too Geek. What time do you have to be back at the clinic? Hope that the emby has been growing great guns Smile

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 27/01/2014 09:19

Geek, Brooking really hard for you this morning. Hoping that as Beedle says another egg will have fertilised since they looked yesterday - but anyway, it only takes one!

Beedle, how lovely to hear from you! Sorry to hear life has been v stressful does that mean an ironic BFP? but fingers and toes all crossed for the FET.
