Thank you ladies Thanks

I'm still in Spain, the only country in the world where hpts are sold only from closed drawers in pharmacies for extortionate amounts of money! I didn't bring many tests over with me so have only done two - yesterday at 6dp3dt, so equiv of 9dpo, and this morning. Both frers, both gave good, photographable lines (but today's was much stronger).

We had two x day 3, 8 cell embies transferred on tuesday 12 aug here in Spain and are booked to stay out here until friday morning. Otd should have been next sat but due to travel times and getting such an early bfp the spanish clinic are doing a blood test for me on thursday.

MrG and I are both over the moon at how the lines are developing, but will feel much happier once we know the blood results and can put figures on things.

Yesterday felt completely unreal, like it could be taken away from us at any time. Today's line has given me more confidence and hopefully tomorrow's will do likewise. I only have three more tests with me - an frer for tomorrow, a spanish one for thursday and an ic on friday. It is my last ever ic, and I won't believe it os really happening until I see a genuine line on one of them.

Of course, back home it is a completely different matter, and I can also buy more tests at will!

I'm still on the bum bullets so can't really separate out any pg symptoms apart from a bit of cramping and stretching.

I think that's everything!!!

Xxxxx

Thanks Thanks Thanks

Pasta that would be utterly awesome - you could all wear hpts instead of carnations so I'll recognise you!!!

Cartoon I have a digi at home that is still a few months in date. It will be the last of the tests I currently have at home that I will use because I want NO chance of my levels being too low to register! I can't wait to see those words appear.

Trix we are all fine. I am very busy with the day to day of it all. It is awesome being a twin mummy, I couldn't imagine having only one baby. Me and DH often say we would fight over just one at least we both get the cuddles and to spend time with each baby as it is. The babies are amazing and always have been, I am sooooooooo lucky. They have slept through from 14 weeks and gone 7-7 since 5.5 months so we haven't really been too sleep deprived. They have come on in leaps and bounds since going onto solids, they are both little characters now and proper interact with each other laughing and giggling at one another - proper cute to see. So how are you and N?

Sweetie!!!! I cross-posted so only just saw your post! Twins would be utterly amazing, I thought of you lots when I was getting anxious after my fet, as I seem to recall you also felt that way, and I think you had a day (or more) where it felt like af was due to arrive before getting your bfp too. You really kept me going xxx so pleased your two are doing so well, they are little stunners!

Geek if you ever want to get in touch just message me through FB. I know how tough it can be. I didn't feel it was real until I had my 20 week scan. I felt very crampy for weeks, like AF was about to arrive and then never did. I had these aches in my groin and near the front of my hips. Was very strange but all good. I do hope it is twins, it would be great.

sweetie that's wonderful to hear you are all doing so well. N used to sleep through really well but lately is waking in the night and up early. not sure if its teeth or because he has learnt to crawl, apparently learning new skills can effect sleep. he's a cheeky chappy and always happy. weaning is............. ok. He has a few things he likes. struggling with lumps at the moment. he has pretty much just refused his tea including the pudding. not sure whether to try something different so as he has actually eaten something. he's still quite a sickly boy.
realised I've basically just had one big whinge. N is a gorgeous sweet boy very cleaver too. its amazing how fast the last 7months have gone.

geek I'm still Smile Grin for you. it's bloody terrifying till 12 weeks I hope you'll let us help you through it like you did for us

trix I've found it best to offer what I've planned then yoghurt/fruit, but not give another meal if it's rejected. I want her to learn different flavours not just hold out for what she loves, and if they're hungry they'll eat. fwiw a couple of weeks back s ate nothing not even white yoghurt for 2 days. then a tooth popped out

Trix I know what you mean, I cannot believe how quickly time has gone. Mine eat well too, although E has gone off milk so I make sure she gets extra dairy in the day. They had tuna and sweetcorn sandwiches for lunch today. We have already seen the sweetcorn reappear in this evening bedtime nappy change!! We went to a kids party yesterday and they were given party food, the jam tarts went down VERY well. Not sure I would have given them them but as a one off I can't stress about it. Sounds like N is doing really well, I would love to see a photo if you still have my email address. Going off his food might be down to teething as keep says. Does he have any teeth yet?

Report
cartoontrickster · 19/08/2014 20:26

no teeth yet but I'm pretty sure I can feel something. so I really hope that is it. I feel abit like I'm doing a crappy job of this weaning business and i was very nervous of it anyway.
wow sandwichs and party food. I love jam tarts. it must be so much more fun when the babies like their food.

trix ime weaning is messy boring frustrating and worrying!! s has been much better at it since about 8m. I have really tried to relax and not stress and I think that's helped me, but for her it's mostly age! you have to trust that they won't let themselves go hungry and milk is fine for now

Thanks Keep, I'm still pretty Grin Grin Grin about it myself!

I hope you'll understand, but I and some of the others who've struggled in their ttc journey find it very hard to see so much baby talk on the ttc thread, that's why I resurrected this one to post my diffed announcement. We are fb friends though, and I will def stay in touch and be asking for loads of advice through fb messenger if you don't mind?

Thanks so much to everypne for the amazing support over the last three or so years, I really couldn't have got this far without you.

Is Imps still here? I'd really love to see her amazing display of awesomeness before this thread maxes out Thanks

calling imps.....

in my TTC news - it seems I have to go to the gp to get referred to the fertility clinic even though I'll be private, as it's an nhs facility. have other people had to do this??

geek I'm sorry. how are the lines this morning? can you post a pic? I'm brooking for twins too Wink
