Boo so good to see you. I hope Sparks and Geek are doing ok.

Just a flying visit as I can barely keep my eyes open.

Grin 7! That's great. Brooking for an heir (either sex) and some spares!

Hope you're having a nap now xxx

BeedlesPineNeedles · 19/05/2014 13:50

You have a nice nap, will thye call you tomorrow to let you know how they are getting on?

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 19/05/2014 16:08

There is planning in place for our Geek I will tell more when I can, could you all just Brook for her in the mean time :)

ScrambledSmegs · 19/05/2014 16:44

Hullo boo, I shall brook me tits off for Geek and Cups. They are pretty substantial too, so that's a loooooooot of brooking Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 19/05/2014 17:44

That's amazing news Cups!! Hope you're recovering well x

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 20/05/2014 09:53

Well not good news, only 2 eggs were mature and 1 has fertilised. I'm in for day 2 transfer tomorrow if it survives the night. I'm feel awful, DH is so upset. I really don't think IVF is ever going to work for us.

OP posts:
BeedlesPineNeedles · 20/05/2014 10:07

Oh cups I'm so sorry it wasn't a better result. I have everything crossed that it is in fact a golden egg that will survive and be transferred and implant and be your baby in 9 months. But I understand how terrible that news makes you feel, and how pointless all the treatment and drugs seem.
((hugs)) I'll be thinking of you both and keeping everything crossed for tomorrow

boo I'm brooking for geek I keep meaning to send her a message, I really must do so. It was a lovely pic of you and geek and sparks, I wish I lived closer!!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 20/05/2014 11:21

Oh Cups I'm so sorry. But like Beedle, I'm brooking for a golden egg.

How are you doing Beedle?

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 20/05/2014 11:23

Oh Cups I am also sorry the news isn't better. I'll be brooking for that golden egg, and thinking of you and Mr C xx

Thanks Beedle we had a lovely day :) I just hope I get to come back and report some good news from her!

ScrambledSmegs · 20/05/2014 11:57

Oh, Cups. I'm sorry the news isn't more positive but right now there's one little fertilised egg with your name on it, and that's better than a lot of people manage.

I'm brooking ever so hard for you xxx

farfallarocks · 20/05/2014 18:06

cups it only takes one. I am brooking hard for you that this is the golden egg.

I am 9dpo and feeling the usual cramps so think I am out this month. Onto month 9 and I am brooking no argument that this is our month.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 21/05/2014 06:52

Good luck for today cups I hope it goes well. Brook brook brook.

far sorry it hasn't been easier for you. I still hope that this will be our month every month, even though its highly unlikely! But if you're only 9dpo you can't give up hope yet (see I can even be ridiculously optimistic for you) :o

imps where are you?

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 21/05/2014 08:22

Morning Cups, brooking for you and your golden egg today. Xx

NoMaybeAboutIt · 21/05/2014 09:26

Good luck Cups x

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 21/05/2014 21:17

Thanks everyone for your support. The embryo survived, it's 5 cells which is not ideal and it's fragmented. ET was a very sad solemn affair. The doctor admitted it was a very long shot. I feel so angry and disappointed. We have requested our notes and I've completed our referral paperwork to the other clinic so I feel better knowing that I won't have to go back to the clinic anymore. We are going to test at in 12 days before we go on holiday. OTD is another 5 days after that but I refuse to let this ruin my holiday. It's 14 days after EC so it should be accurate.

Brooking for you lots Cups. I hope it went well today. (I've only been lurking, but have been following and brooking from afar).

GreenOlives · 21/05/2014 22:00

Not been on here for ages but just called in to see how you were doing cups I'm sorry that things are not looking good but you just never know, so I'm going to brook like I've never brooked before for your little embie! Sending lots of love and luck your way xx

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 21/05/2014 22:59

I'm still brooking for your little embie too Cups, sending all the brooking and good thoughts I can to you and Mr C xx

BeedlesPineNeedles · 22/05/2014 05:32

Don't give up hope yet cups, my bfp was from a single 2 day embryo, though I have no idea about number of cells before or after freezing. Though as it didn't actually last very long maybe that's not such a good message of hope. I think its good to test before you go away, I know the next 12 days are going to be tough. I hope you have some stuff planned to keep your mind busy. Have you decided on what stuff you want to do in NY?

Sending you, mrC and the little fighter embryo all my love and brooking xx

keepitgoing · 22/05/2014 10:58

hi cups I've been away so not checking in but have been brooking like mad. I'm sorry to hear you didn't get many embies but you are now pupo. fwiw many egg buddies have been told they have average/poor embies but got pregnant, I'm not sure they know that much about what'll work. someone, I think euro, was told to look to donor eggs. anyway I'm just saying don't give up hope. we won't and are all brooking like crazy for you.

PS good choice to move clinics though I'm hoping it won't be necessary.

xxx

NoMaybeAboutIt · 22/05/2014 14:57

How are you doing today Cups? I think that's a good idea to test a few days early x

Imps9 · 22/05/2014 18:55

Hello hello hello - sorry I've been awol. I've been on holiday for 2.5 weeks (yes! 2.5 whole weeks!) and meant to post before I went but forgot my newly reset password and then had to reset it again which I can't do on my phone as I can't access my registered email on my phone and I didn't have the chance to sit down in front of the ol' laptop. But anyway, I am here, I think I have chosen a memorable password this time and I have caught up from where I left off.

Cups, so sorry that ET was such a thoroughly miserable time and that the consultant has already put the kibosh (is that how you spell it?) on embie. I am brooking with every fibre that I can muster that the little embie is one of those defy-all-of-the-odds kinda embie and gives you your long-awaited, much deserved BFP. I can kind of understand Mr C putting the defensive shield up to try to protect him from hurt but must applaud you for making up up with him so quickly. In times like these you need to be together and as one rather than in battle so good on you. Fingers so bloody crossed for you lovely.

Far, sorry no BFP for you so far. Are you and DH having similar friction in the shag-on-demand front? Did he ever change his job btw - it was seemingly causing him so much stress when you were trying for your current little one.

Maybe how is mum-life treating you?? Still incredible to think that your DD is here!

Beedle how are things with you?

Hello Green, Boo, Keep, Musical and waves from afar Geek, Sparks, Scarlet and all other Brookers.

farfallarocks · 22/05/2014 20:01

cups brooking like mad! My friend had a very similar IVF round, the consultant was very negative and was talking egg donation.
She is now 6 months pregnant with a much worse off looking embryo than the previous 3 rounds which were BFNs. Brooking like mad!

imps that is amazing, where did you go?
DH has changed jobs (thank God!) He actually left without a newjob to go to as he was so stressed, he looked after baby Far for 4 months solo which was wonderful for their relationship. I was at the end of mat leave so it made my transition back to work much eaiser roo He is now much happier in a new job. He is much more enthusiastic and happy to DTD, we don;t always get it right but I am also less pushy about it as there is no point. In the 9 months since we started TTC we probably got the timing right in only 5/6 cycles but I am ok with that.
Where are you in your 'journey'?

Waves to everyone.
I have having a glass of lovely rose tonight, yum
