Great news gill - have everything crossed for you on this round!

rp we all have to have hope. And there's always a possibility of a bfp. Fx'd for you too.

Hi everyone else!

BlueBirdy · 03/02/2014 14:49

RP I can't smack you as that would make me a huge hypocrite - I'm exactly the same!

Tiger I temp and it has shed light on a few things for me. I can get obsessive about it though and as I start IVF soon I'll probably quit after this cycle.

Good luck Gill!!

I got my planning appointment letter today! It's later on in the month but I need to speak to the nurse as dates could be a problem. Just waiting for her to call back. Was reading through the info pack that came with it and was interested to see that if no frozen embryos survive the thaw then NHS will fund one more fresh round. Barking it may be the case in your area too? Hopefully it won't come to that, of course, but it's good to know!

RevoltingPeasant · 03/02/2014 15:37

oooh birdy how exciting! so you are all systems go! any chance of an ironidiff??

funkymonk · 03/02/2014 19:22

Good luck gill and hoping you get some exciting news in next few days rp poas poas poas poas

pip? How are you doing?

bunny?

I'm still here feather! Thanks for asking! I rarely get chance to use a laptop and find mumsnet quite awkward on my phone. Hope you had a nice birthday?!

Well done to all the berries that have been dropping their bmi! Good work!

Hope the family gathering wasn't too tough parsley?

barking, you may have a meniscal injury. Did something in particular happen to make the pain worse?

Cycle day 15 here on cycle 2 post mc. Had some random bleeding day 12, 13 and 14. Quite worried really. Def not ov bleeding as was more than that and I'm quite sure I haven't ovulated yet. Usually ovulate day 17 but I imagine that's all to pot after the mc. Grrr.

funkymonk · 03/02/2014 19:26

RevoltingPeasant 34, ttc 'properly' since May 2013, DH erectile dysfunction issues and me retro cervix, hopefully starting GP testing in March

RevoltingPeasant · 03/02/2014 19:42

Funky I don't have a test in the house! Shock have a pact with myself not to poas unless AF late.

Oh and yes, I had a meniscal injury to my knee ages ago. It hurt like a bastard whenever I tried running. It did get better though!

Ironically after what we were saying last night, I hurt my own ITB in aerobics today - doh!!

IamKuma · 03/02/2014 20:41

Blue sorry for the slightly delayed reply, I did temp for a few months but never got any pattern out of it at all so gave up. OPKs showed OV at about day 12 which fitted OK with 26 day cycles, so I guess I may now be OVing even earlier. Having AF just over every 3 weeks isn't much fun though. Given where I am in the FC system, I can't really be bothered to try and start it up again.

Gillster sounds like a busy weekend; fingers crossed for you. Definitely exciting times in Berry HQ, but will miss you when you move to the 'copter!

RP hope the ITB gets better soon.

Hi funky I'm still here, lurking in limbo land.

Wishing everyone about to start ivf massive good luck! And still keeping FX for a few au natural BFPs too x

How do you feel Bunny? Have you seen a MW yet or booked your first scan?

Exciting, if scary!!

BoodleDoo · 03/02/2014 23:32

Just adding myself to the list. I'm sorry if we lose all the highlighting on the names; I'm on my iPhone!

barkingtreefrog · 04/02/2014 00:02

birdy sounds interesting hopeful I will definitely ask when we get referred.

rp, clearly, you know nothing. A woman's LP can change?! A woman's LP is 14 days long. Every cycle. Fact. My consultant said so (as did *Boodle's I believe). The cm, the +opks, ovulation pains and clear temp rises tell us nothing, especially when all evidence screamingly points conclusively to not having a 14 day LP.

I'm having a bad day. My bridesmaid first uninvited me to her birthday then told me it was best she wasn't at the wedding . By text. Essentially, it turns out, because I wasn't effusive enough in my congratulations on her being pg, and I selfishly didn't want to talk babies with her Shock .

Gillster · 04/02/2014 08:59

Sounds like you have some "nice" friends Barking - unbelievable! The fact that she did it by text too. Sounds more like the behaviour from a stroppy teenager. If this is the way she behaves then you're probably best off without her.

tigerdog · 04/02/2014 09:22

That is such crappy behaviour from your friend barking! I'm sorry you have to deal with it in the run up to your wedding. Would she really rather you pretended to be happy to her face rather than be honest about it being difficult?! Also, she should just suck it up till after the wedding rather than have a strop now. Particularly when you have gone to expense and effort of making dresses. Grrrr on your behalf!

FeatherFeather11 · 04/02/2014 11:15

barking that's rubbish of your friend. Best to cut her loose - I would! You really don't need the stress on top of everything else you're going through. Flowers

I've just had to sit through a conversation with the pregnant colleague and another colleague and he was telling her how life changing having a baby is and that he feels pity on people that don't have children. Had to fight tooth and nail not to burst into tears there and then. Sad

Parsley2506 · 04/02/2014 12:38

Have a hug barking and feather.

I can't BELIEVE a 'friend' would do that. I assume she knows your personal situation? That is so unfeeling, and completely narcissistic. I'm so sorry she's chosen to use your wedding as the weapon of choice but as others have said, it's better to be free of her and not have her spoiling the day itself.

Hope everyone else is well. CD15 and still awaiting peak day on CBFM - this is going to be another long cycle it would seem.

Saznut · 04/02/2014 13:12

hi all. big hug to barking and feather. people are so stupid and insensitive.

finally had a heart to heart with dh and will finally be looking into getting all checked out by gp.

All the berries here going through ivf are an inspiration and it all looks quite exciting.

good luck everyone x

SidneyBristow · 04/02/2014 14:30

feather it must've taken a huge amount of self-control to not respond to that sort of humblebrag. Surely he realizes you don't have children, so basically was telling you to your face that he pities you? Brainless.

Barking you know my feelings about your self-centered friend from my postings at the other place, but just wanted to tell you here that I can't really see how this can be made right, if she's not willing at all to see your point of view. the fact she's done all of this by text kind of says she doesn't want to hear your POV. Which is really immature. I'm sorry you're having to deal with this Thanks

saznut not sure I've said welcome to the thread before, so if not I'll say it now: welcome to the thread (same for anyone else new I've missed!); I'm sure you'll get a lot of support here. seeing the GP for tests is scary at first but really once you take that leap, it does become easier. the "not knowing" is the worst part. hope you get a quick appointment and that your GP takes your concerns seriously. it helps to go in prepared with what you're entitled to, test-wise, as per NHS/NICE guidelines.

as for me, Day 5 of downregging and feeling steadily queasy. Could be so much worse so trying to be grateful it's just nausea and not nausea + headache + hot flashes and insomnia.

FeatherFeather11 · 04/02/2014 15:49

Thanks guys. Yeah sid I nearly biffed him on the nose. What are people like! Seriously! Everyone outside of berry land needs to just sid off!

FeatherFeather11 · 04/02/2014 15:49

*sod not sid!

HampshireBlues · 04/02/2014 19:23

Bloody hell Barking talking about your bridesmaids taking it to a whole new level! Thanks

Feathet I feel your pain, going mad trying to avoid any conversation that might lead to babies.

Shamefully lost track of what day I am, but back so painful that I'm really not up to much. To be honest I am totally resigned to IVF in April that I can't be bothered (is that really bad of me?)

Blue sounds like things are moving; hope you've managed to sort out dates.

funkymonk · 04/02/2014 20:11

What a fool that man is feather. Could you maybe just punch him in the face and then pretend you didn't do it? A kind of Father Ted kicking Bishop Brennan up the arse moment?

Barking your bridesmaid is a first class tw*t. it's so sad when you realise a friend is not the person you thought they were. Unless the real life friends have had ttc woes then I wouldn't expect them to completely understand you and have the compassion you would expect.

Hi saznut! Don't think we've met yet either!

Sid are you on short protocol? Add yourself to the most recent list?

Anyone heard how pip is doing?

Aquarius1 · 04/02/2014 20:41

Hi all, reluctantly adding myself to the list too - not cos I don't like you all but just find it so depressing looking at my stats. I can't work out how to cut and paste on iPhone so if someone else could add me that'd be gd:
Aquarius; ttc 20 something cycles; age: over 30; hoping for au naturel post lap bfp; suffering with nightmare af's in meantime Angry

Barking so sorry about your bad bridesmaid - i would say she can sid right off but I imagine its just upsetting more than anything.

RevoltingPeasant · 04/02/2014 20:45

Barking I am shocked! Seriously, you weren't effusive enough? That would be prattish even without your history! Cannot believe that.

Feather ditto.

Think I am getting stupid pre AF symptoms. :( I cannot bear to poas and see the BFN. I always find those women who come on and say "Oooh I dtd two weeks ago and now I have some ambiguous symptoms! Could I be pg?" so annoying! And coy! Just friggin test.

Now I am one of them. Confused

ladybunnikins · 04/02/2014 21:17

rp chart looking good! POAS
